Garnet scrunched up her nose. Something she did whenever she started to think deeply. He learnt it from his mother? Garnet thought her grandmother was the only one who knew the song. There was no point dwelling on the fact, there was work to be done!
A small beeping noise came from Garnet's pocket. She reached in, and pulled out a small mobile device which was flashing "NEW MAIL" on the screen.
"Kristo-...Kris, would you accompany me to Classroom 021? There's some work which needs to be tended to on my desk computer." Garnet felt a little awkward calling Kris by his nickname, seeing as they had only just met. Garnet had to check her emails, she thought it was something important considering she broke the rules earlier. Dollet wouldn't have snitched on her...right? Garnet crossed one leg over the other and swallowed hard.

The students took about two minutes to defeat the Grat. "Wow! Nice timing!" Hyde said clicking the stop watch and marking it down on a piece of paper. He noticed another Grat making it's way over in the distance. "Okay who's next---" The teaching assistant was about to ask when he noticed a leave like hand rubbing his leg in a creepy way. "Bonus points to who ever beats this one first!" Hyde said disturbed by the second Grat and trying to move away from it only to have it follow him.

The gardens? Dollet frowned. How can she act so nonchalantley after Dollet witnessed her Yevon mark? They soon reached the gardens and Dollet had gained just enough speed to grab hold of her top, possibly a little too roughly. He pulled her towards him with such force, that she knocked him straight off his feet and he landed on his back. This winded him a little, and Dollet started to cough.
"s**t." He mumbled, rising to his feet quickly and helping Koda onto her feet.
"...sorry?" Dollet wasn't good at apologies. He wasn't good at socialising full stop. They had seemed to gather a small crowd by this time.

Kristopher wondered what Garnet was doing when she had scrunched up her nose. It was rather...awkward. Maybe she didn't like the response he had given her. But, that was alright. It didn't last long, seeing as how a minor beeping nose could be heard coming from Garnet. Soon enough, she had pulled out a small device, though he couldn't see what was on it. Listening to her, she had started off with saying his full name, but she then had caught herself. Kristopher did a minor chuckle before nodding. "Sure, I'll accompany you. And if you don't like calling me Kris, you can use my full name if you want." He didn't exactly want his name being a burden after all. It was alright. He didn't mind being called Kristopher, but he did prefer Kris. It's not like it was a pet peeve or anything though.

Koda grabbed his hand and was brought back to her feet. Regardless of how cold Dollet was she still found him rather polite. "No worries." She said then noticed the crowd, making her feel a bit uncomfortable. Koda was use to having crowds of fans back home but not anywhere else and especially not ones of random people. "Do people have nothing better to do?" She thought to herself, smirking as she tried not to laugh at the thought. Inbetween classes tended to be pretty boring for most students.

Garnet jumped in joy at the thought of someone coming with her to her classroom. She was dreading reading her emails, is she getting expelled? She and Kris walked to the classroom, going up the lift and through crowds of students until they reached the classroom Garnet wanted to go to. She skipped to her desk and clicked the center of the screen which was built into the desk.
"Hmm." Garnet mumbed, holding her chin and very quickly flicking through the log in details to enter her emails. Suddenly, Garnet gasped and sat down. Her shocked expression turned into a broad grin, and then, as she read even further, a worried grimace!

Koda laughed. "Fair enough." She replied walking again looking for a hallway with less to no people in it. " Just promise one thing..." The girl said stopping briefly and looking Dollet directly in the eyes, being serious for one moment. "You MUST not tell your father or any other faculty, actually don't even tell the students!" She explain then continued walking, looking side to side for an empty hall. "Does no one have classes right now?"

Kristopher followed after Garnet, looking around as he did. This school always seemed to impress him no matter how many times he walks through these hallways. As they went up the elevator, he wondered if this was the only elevator in the entire school. This was the only one he knew of, but it wasn't as busy as it would seem. Well, there were stares in case of emergencies. It's not like this was going to be the only mode of transportation between the floors. That would be dangerous in case the elevator did end up stopping. Trapped students on the top floors, confused students on the bottom floor. It would definitely cause chaos if that really did end up happening. Hopefully it won't happen any time soon.

Soon enough, they got off on the floor that led to Garnet's classroom. He followed after her, making sure that his lute was safe as they passed the crowds of students. As they entered the classroom, he looked around. It wasn't surprising that the classrooms looked alike. Even the desks were alike. Stopping at Garnet's seat, he stood nearby, not really wanting to be nosy and looking at whatever she was going. Judging by the facial expressions that continued to be changing upon her face, he couldn't help but be curious as to what it was she was reading. "What is it?" Although they had formally met today, he felt acquainted enough with her to ask a simple question as that. She wasn't obligated to tell him though, so he would be fine if she didn't tell him anything.

Garnet looked up at Kris, who looked quite concered at why she was changing emotions every 2 seconds.
"I...uhh..." Garnet glanced back at the screen and scanned the words which were presented to her. She wanted to make sure she wasn't making it up.
"I have been sent a notice of examination. My teacher wants me to take the level 1 SeeD exam. I can also choose a new Aeon if I wish, only if I pass though." Garnet bit her lip, any harder and it would bleed. She hadn't been studying much, only battling in any spare time that she had. She was more of a kinaesthetic learner. Garnet didn't really like learning from books.
"I've never had an exam before. I'm nervous." What made her more nervous was the fact that she could do it right now. Students were able to complete their exams from their desks. Suddenly, there was an announcement:

"Attention students. Balamb Gardens is approaching Besaid. I repeat. Balamb Gardens is approaching Besaid. Danger Level 1. No student is to leave the Garden without their beeper. Adhere to the academy rules and stay safe."

Dollet was thrilled! Koda was going to tell him! She seen her looking left and right, probably to see if anyone was near. There was. Lots of students.Suddenly, and announcement rang on the speakers.
"Yes!" Dollet cheered. This meant that students would be leaving the Gardens to explore Besaid, and Koda would be able to tell him. Plus, he can now get some cigarettes. He was itching for one.

Hyde said with a cringe stopping the timer as the second group finished their battle. "You all may leave early since we're about to dock. I know how much it sucks to be stuck in this place for weeks." He laughed. "Just be ready to continue team battles next class." The man said then started to put equipment away and close off the gates that let the monsters run about. "Besaid huh...Haven't been there in a while..." He muttered to himself thinking out loud. "I hope Koda is okay there..."
