Satsuma did want Reira to give it her all. She rather her enemies go down fighting at their fullest instead of dying like miserable weaklings. If you think you got the power to save your planet, it's always best to go strong from the start so when you die by her hands, you at least went out fighting instead of cowering. That's how Satsuma feels anyways....plus if they manage to do any damage to her, she gets a power boost so that's always a plus. She grins evilly, watching as Reira have to put some distance between the two, doing her best to evade the attack, but she still manage to get hit...however, she also manage to deflect one of the blasts. "Oops! Did that upset you? My bad. I'll do my best next time to ground you permanently, Earthling!" Satsuma laughs out and when she got ready for Reira's next attack, something caught her attention. Her scouter was going ballistic, beeping rapidly as something or rather someone came rocketing towards West City. Not so far away from the pair, there was a crash and a huge explosion that sent debris and dust flying everywhere! Satsuma quickly brings an arm up to shield her face, turning her head away for extra measurements until it all died down. What the hell is going on? 'What is Toma doing? Geez!' With a few small coughs, the saiyaness starts to quickly wave her hand to fan away the dust irritating her senses. That b*****d....now her hair has become a motel for all that damn earth debris! Great, she's gonna be in the shower for hours cleaning her hair alone! Just what was going on between him and Kon? That kind of crash shouldn't have caused this kind of reaction....they even brought on an earthquake which subsided after a while. Satsuma had to take to the air for a moment, hovering a few inches off the ground as she looks over towards where the two brawling saiyans crashed.

As she tries to assess the situation happening nearby, she notice someone came shooting out from the crater. Who she hoped was Toma so she can give him a good chewing out was not who she was wanting to see at all. No, it was Kon who emerged...but something was different about him. What was up with his aura? His whole appearance was different...and the vibe she got from him was too. It actually sent a shiver down her spine. Guess this means Toma failed to take care of their prime target. How could Toma lose to someone like Kon of all people? And to make matters worst, he even sent one final ki attack down to finish him off. Well....guess that means she's in charge of the mission. 'At least he went out in a blaze of glory. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten nor in vain, Toma.' Satsuma narrows her eyes at the other saiyan, especially when he made that remark about the two merely dancing before delivering the final blow. Now that Toma was dealt with, he was starting to make his way over towards her. She'll have to deal with the Earthling after she takes care of Kon. The fur on her tail begins to bristle as she prepares herself for what's to come. But instead of an attack, something unexpected occurred. Whatever power Kon had gained in order to beat Toma, it vanished! That red aura that mimicked flames was gone and he was back to himself again. And as an added bonus, he was exhausted. Perfect........just the idea makes her lips curl into a devilish grin. "Well! So much for that badass line earlier....onto the next one he says....hehe....and look at you now. You look like you're already one foot inside of the grave. Thanks for making my job a hell of a lot easier, Koko.....I'll make sure to break every bone in your body before I finish you off." Unfortunately, she won't get the chance to finish off Kon like she wants to. Someone gotta do it. Callista is off on a reunion date with Tarroc and Toma is pretty much in his own grave...minus that arm just lounging around near the crater. Satsuma glances over at Reira as she spoke to Kon on a level of familiarity. Guess this means these two have some history together. Oh perfect, Satsuma was going to be killing a love interest of Kon! That explains why they haven't heard from him....Earth made him soft! And this girl definitely have something to do with it. This day is starting to come out perfectly!

"Oooooooooooh! So not only will I get a chance to kill Kon, but I'll be killing his little girlfriend too! Today is a speci--" That's when she's cut off mid-sentence as Reira unleashed her next attack. Satsuma dodges, but not quick enough! Her right side takes the full blunt of the attack, armor and flesh both being cut by the ki attack her blade delivered. Blood begins to trickle down her arm as the saiyaness gives a small wince. "You....b***h! You'll pay for that!" She hisses out, left brow twitching in anger as a bright pinkish red aura bursts to life, enveloping her being as she starts to power up, raising her power level to it matches that of Reira's before vanishing in the blink of an eye. Of course, she reappears, only inches away from the earth woman with her hand raised high. However, before she goes through with what she has planned. Actually no, as the back of her hand goes across Reira's face in full swing, that's when a hand forces it's way through Kon. Almost simultaneously, Satsuma turns her head to see that not only did someone impale their target, but it was Toma who delivered the fatal blow! So he didn't die....then again, he's way too much of a prideful p***k to go down like that. Deep down, it was kind of a relief to see it happen. It was almost ironic to see both bodies drop...or at least Toma's anyways. With the last of his strength, he made sure to take care of Kon...but would that really be enough to kill him?

However, she was brought back to the fight at hand as she felt a sharp pain ripple throughout her being from the blade ripping through flesh and bone. Damn, this is Toma's fault! He distracted her and left her open for an attack! As much as it hurts....it didn't hinder Satsuma from following through with her last attack. Her right side is taking on more damage than it should be. Since Reira was close again, Satsuma wasted no time in unleashing a fury-filled slapping frenzy upon her face! Then with one powerful fluid motion...she slaps her away while simultaneously disarming her of her sword. "Tch, you stupid girl. You should have stuck to slicing instead of stabbing. You don't understand what a saiyan will do to eliminate their enemies...." It hurts like a b***h, like seriously but while Reira tries to pick herself back up, Satsuma starts to slowly pull the blade out from it's temporary sheath, swinging the blade to force her blood off from it. "Now...let's see how much of a fighter you really are without your little toy, girl." Even though she's bleeding and pain pulses from her fresh wounds, she still manages to bring out a dark grin while twirling the sword between her fingers then go as far as to wave it tauntingly in front of Reira. She should...really take this time to check and see if Toma is worth saving actually...and to finish off Kon if he's struggling to stay in this world after that last attack.

It really didn't surprise him that Callista would react to his words as she had just now, but it still disappointed him slightly. He could certainly understand it though, words meant nothing without action and the conviction to see it through, something he would saw her he had in spades. He watched slightly as she took off the cape she wore, taking in the curves of her body and not being able to keep the thought of how much she'd grown since he'd last seen her. He almost missed the thud of the cape hitting the ground, realizing with some dread that it was weighted for training purposes. It was then that he heard the human, Zong he thought the man's name might be, make some sort of lame joke about it and immediately retort, The cape was weighted, she'd be much faster now." He said simply right before she blasted off, showering the area with sand particles.

It was an obvious distraction, but that knowledge didn't really help that much, as Tarroc was forced the shield his vision. Much like Zong, he too felt the change in pressure behind him, and turned just in time to block Callista's first blow to his face, he even would have been able to block or even dodge the kick to the chest if not for what he saw then. Zong had apparently stripped down to his to naught but his briefs, What th-urk!!!" He managed to get out before taking Callista's knee squarely to the chest, the force of the blow sending his flying towards the human. At the literally the last second though, Tarroc managed to spin his body to where he would miss Zong by a few inches.

"Dammit put your clothes back on!" He shouted as he touched down and stopped his momentum, charging a ball of whitish blue energy in his hand, "And You!" He shouted, leveling the statement at Callista before throwing the ball, affectionately dubbed a Riot Javelin, right at her, which sped up and grew to about four feet in diameter. But it didn't simply end there, as Tarroc blasted off right after the ball hugging it as tightly as possible to where Callista couldn't possible see, charging yet another Riot Javelin as he did so. About fifteen feet from Callista though he warped directly over her, "Don't underestimate me! Riot Javelin! SPIKE!!!" He shouted as he spiked the ball of ki straight down at where ever she might be at the moment.

To think that Tarroc was the one to get hit by her attacks first truly disappointed Callista. She hadn't counted her gut punch to Zong back in North City as the official start of their battle which was why the Saiyaness discarded it altogether. But it came off as a big surprise to her that while the human was able to successfully block both of her blows toward him, Tarroc was only about to block Callista's first attack to his face. The female couldn't help but to think if his stay on Earth really made him weaker. It certainly wasn't impossible. Though, Callista could understand why Tarroc might have been momentarily stunned and left himself open to an attack because Zong announced that his "Secret No-Pants Technique" exceeded hers, whatever the hell that even meant. A clear sign of annoyance washed over Callista's face and decided she wasn't going to even bother responding to his words nor actions. She didn't just take off her clothes wherever she went! Unless if Zong's clothes were weighted equipment like what she had then their circumstances were quite different. Either that or he was just...weird. Did all humans take off their clothes whenever they fought?

She easily swatted away Zong's long braided hair that dared to leave a mark on her face before stepping back a few feet from her two opponents. Once the male stripper explained how he knew of Cauli, Callista simply raised a brow in both confusion and annoyance. The "Tenkaichi Budokai" was something foreign to her but she wasn't interested in learning more about it, especially when they were in the middle of a bout. All her half-sibling needed was some sense knocked into him and she was going to do exactly that when she met up with him. "Whatever, he'll meet the same fate as you two should he refuse my offer!" But first Callista had to finish off both Zong and Tarroc. And despite being outnumbered their power levels were still lower than hers. So unless if her scouter was mistaken then things should have gone in her favor.

"For someone who talks a lot you're not that good at fighting are you?" Callista taunted Zong as she easily jumped away from his attack. Did he really think such an obvious attack would have been able to hit her or even catch her off guard? Well, it wasn't surprising. After all, Saiyans were superior than Humans in each and every way. All he needed was someone to prove that much to him and then finally shut that big mouth of his. Just when she was about to strike him down again her scouter begun making bizarre calculations as if it was suffering a terrible malfunction. Seeing as it was nearly impossible to ignore the device she quickly pressed onto the device in which she got a surprising high power level from afar. Another one popped up with a mere twenty, but obviously that didn't worry the Saiyaness at all. Instead her attention was focused on two power levels: one that exceeded her own and Toma's. So much for being the strongest! Callista thought to herself as she sighed. Whoever he was fighting, obviously a Saiyan because there was no way that a mere Earthling could overpower them, proved to be pretty strong. Which meant either herself for that b***h Satsuma had to go rescue his sorry butt. But since she had her hands full that left the job to the older female.

Unfortunately Callista's attention strayed too long on her ally and the mysterious power level that it allowed for Tarroc to catch her off guard. While she was able to narrowly dodge his first Riot Javelin his second one from above came as a surprise to her. Quickly she placed her arms over her head to lessen the damage as the ki blast engulfed her. Once Tarroc's attack ended would Callista brush her attire then look back at the fellow Saiyan. "Kinda hard not to do that with an attack like that!" Just as quick as her taunt escaped her lips she already fired off an array of ki blasts at both men. While his attack did harm her, obviously she wasn't dead.

Kon Theme / Kon Voice

Kon looked between Reira and Satsuma and begin to wonder what happened here. A lot of the city had been already destroyed somehow which led Kon to believe he didn't protect it fully. Taking a staggering step towards Reira, Kon heard what she said and chuckled from it. "No way, I am just getting warmed...." Kon suddenly paused and didn't move. His body cringed for some reason. Rolling down his body was a large amount of blood and among other things. Kon looked down at the wound and realized that there was a hand through him now. The scene was gruesome, so much so that it would drive most people to sickness. Kon coughed up blood and begin to fade in and out. The hand was pulled from his body and the being fell to the ground. Upon looking back, Kon saw it was Toma. He survived that assault? If anything it was barely though. Kon glanced back at Reira before falling face first down onto the ground near the crater that he and Toma came from. Kon's eyes slowly fading to white, he tried to look at Reira one last time before his final breath was made. In that moment, the blood loss and damage was too great, Kon died from the severe wound. Toma had achieved his kill and successfully avenged his race of this traitor. Kon however died as a Saiyan should, in battle.

While his body lay there, his spirit didn't however. In moments he found himself in a bright light that would throw him into the check in station in Otherworld. Gaining a grasp on himself, Kon found himself before a giant red ogre with a book. It was this universes version of King Yemma. "What the?!" Kon shouted out as the Ogre looked through his book. "Ah yes Kon, Saiyan Male who lived on Earth. You actually have a pretty clean background with the exception of rudeness. But that doesn't send people to Hell ahahaha!" King Yemma laughed at this. Kon was a very unique person in the fact he didn't get along with people, this was clear. Even more so that even King Yemma would recognize it. "Hm I am not sure where to send you right now. Hell isn't right for you, but you are clearly not Heaven material either." King Yemma said with a bit of frustration. Kon however didn't have time for this trivial matter. "I suppose this means I am dead. That b*****d Toma got me. And with that...I fear for a invasion." Kon said with a sigh which caught King Yemma's attention. "Invasion you say? I heard that something big is going down with Earth. Those Saiyans never seem to stop all this death and destruction. They make my job hell as well." Yemma explained to Kon when he got a idea. "Tell you what, I will let you what, I will let you go train with the Kai's." King Yemma said which confused Kon greatly. "Do not worry about the details, just follow my assistant out to the right where you will come to a small plane that will take you to the Kai's World." King Yemma said, but before he could finish completely Kon had already taken off running through that door.

King Yemma just stared angerly, it was like he didn't hear a word he said. "These youths nowadays are so disrespectful...." He said while shaking his head. Outside of the check in station, Kon was making his way towards what seemed to be two planes. One to heaven, the other to the Kai's world. The Kai's world plane was much different then the Heaven one. It was smaller, and there was no one there. Reading the signs, Kon walked over to the Kai Plane. "Is this the aircraft I ride to reach a world known as Kai's world?" Kon asked one of the workers there. "Why yes it is! I see King Yemma must have sent you here since no one normally comes here anymore. Please get onboard." He said but Kon didn't respond to this. Instead he looked up to the sky and stared at it. "Where exactly is this world?" He questioned, to which the man laughed. "I see King Yemma didn't inform you that this plane takes you to a pathway that leads to the Kai's world. You see you are going to be tested. One warning though, this pathway is full of clever traps and whatnot. If you fall off the path then you are doomed to spend an eternity in Hell." The man said which didn't flinch Kon. "I am not interested in the details, just take me there." Kon grumbled at the man who nodded and led him onto the plane. Having Kon take a seat and buckle up, the plane was set to take off.

Little did Kon know, his adventures were only beginning. His time spent in Otherworld was going to be...rather unpleasant to say the least. But Otherworld wasn't on his mind right now, what was on his mind was the inevitable Saiyan Invasion. It was clear those few Saiyans that were sent will not get the job done. Kon shouldn't have let his guard down, maybe then he could have helped more. "Damn it what a way to go. I'm the traitor yet i'm the one who got back stabbed by our race. Freaking ironic..." Kon grumbled over this as he wait patiently for the plane to arrive at this pathway.

Tuba gladly accepted the chocolate and scarfed it down with ease, chewing the squishy and slightly melted brown goodness and swallowing it with a few licks of his lips. After patting his belly he heard Aqua say how she gained her metallic limbs-someone attacked her and so she needed prosthetic limbs. Then she asked Tuba what he exactly was. "Oh. And if you're wondering...," Tuba stood up and placed his hands on his hips proudly, "I'm a Majin!"

The energy from the chocolate granted Tuba energy however, and he felt like he needed to train more- Haiji, his teacher taught him a man should always exceed his limits. "I'm going to train now, you want to train with me?" Tuba flew a short distance to a thick tall tree and with a focused ki blast, cut it down. A few more ki blasts sheared off the crown and branches, and also sharpened the end to a rough point. He repeated the process on another tree. "Come with me, Aqua!" Tuba said as he carried both trees over to a hilly area. Grabbing both of them, he shoved the ends of each into the hill slightly, enough they would stay in there on their own. "We can train by driving the logs into the hillside with our attacks!" Tuba smiled before lowering his power level and waiting for Aqua to respond.

xx"A majin, huh?" Aqua scratched her head, never heard of a majin before but strange things exist in the world. She watched curiously as he took down some trees and carried them toward a hill where he 'planted' them and then he suggested training. Aqua was starting to get irritated, well she was past starting, she flew up above one of the trees. "How about this!" Probably shouting more than she needed to, she began to charge energy in one hand aiming it at the tree, "Arrrgh!" She launched her Full Power Energy Wave down at the tree annihilating it and leaving a small crater in it's place, she looked around noticing she may have overdone it, "Sorry, I may have snapped there." she floated down landing on the ground rubbing the back of her neck embarrassed from her outburst.

Tuba looked at Aqua and opened his mouth in awe. He couldn't sense any increase in power level, but there was no doubting she did something. "Silly Aqua! You're supposed to punch it into the hill! So when you punch someone, their organs rupture and their ribs shatter!" Tuba balled his chubby little hands into fasts and began throwing punches at the log's end. With each punch, it drove the log in a little bit more-Tuba kept his power level low to gain more out of this training. Moving forward a little bit each time the log got further in, Tuba kept punching until it was about a quarter of the way in. "Like that! Haha!" Tuba smiled and continued to punch the log in, also firing his Organ Burst ki attack. Since his power level was low and the wood was no soft wood, it didn't cause damage to the log, but it did allow him to practice his technique. Partway through however, he stopped. "Wait I never sensed a power level from you. How did you do that?" Tuba said, pointing to the crater before continuing to drive the log into the hillside.

xxWatching Tuba attack the tree, Aqua shook her head mumbling to herself "It's like everything I say goes in one ear and then gets bored and dies." She was sure that Tuba had already forgotten about getting to town.
xxWatching Tuba while listening to what he said left Aqua with mixed feelings, his violent descriptions of his attacks paired with his childlike laughter as he hit the tree, it was an odd mix that felt volatile to Aqua. She made a mental note to try and not make him angry if this was how he acted calm who knows what would happen if he had a temper. Aqua was brought out of her thought when Tuba asked about her power level, "Oh, that is a side effect of being like me, She placed a hand over the center of her chest, "My energy comes from a power core, so in the same way that you don't sense a car or television when it's on, you wouldn't sense me."

After a few punches, Tuba decided to take a break-he'd need to save his energy for other aspects of training besides power. He took that time to talk to Aqua a bit. "Oh! Like a Gundam!"Tuba said. As a tiny baby Majin he had played with some Gundam toys and seen some cartoons-after his training that is. However he realized he needed a few things he couldn't get anywhere else but a city. "Hey I need to go to a city. You want to come along?" Aqua's suspicions were right-her mentioning of a city had not only died in his ear, but was festering and rotting into a puddle of disgusting goop.

"A nearby city should be...that way!" Tuba said before flying up and jettisoning towards West City. He didn't seem to realize that he was closer to South City-West City was one of the fewer cities he visited during his short life, and as such he was more familiar with it. Of course, even if you did tell Tuba South City was closer, he still would have gone to West City. Before shooting towards the city, he made a motion for Aqua to follow along, finally fulfilling her request.

It had been the longest of times and the most trying of them as well. Sure he had lived in the wealth he'd created for himself through many years of stealing and theft for his family, but that was no longer important to him. He instead overlooked everything from his spot on the mountain and that gave him a great insight into what was to come. He had spent a long time researching into the voice and how it had contacted him, what it was that his people had worshipped for so long and what it truly meant for the deal to be complete and, worst of all, what would happen when all of them had been completely signed over.
He had learnt much from his time in solitude but he had also found that through learning this he had grown weary of using such a thing again. If it truly had such devastating side effects then he didn't see the benefit in using it any further. He had to make sure through what ever encounter he made through fighting that he wasn't to further any deals unless his life depended on it.

In between researching and keeping in top physical peak, he would occasionally wander through the some of the cities. Due to the fact his disguise had been damaged, he had no reason to worry that people would recognise him. He had seen how the cities had changed and how little or great their discoveries made in terms of martial arts strength. Many of them still hadn't managed to realise the truth of their abilities and what they could truly accomplish.
It was true that his power greatly belittled nearly every single life form around at that point but that was due to the dark deals he'd forced himself into making for the sake of other's lives. He wasn't proud of it but he knew that lives would be lost if he hadn't made them and that didn't sit well with him.
The most important of his observations were left to keeping track of one particular person who held his bloodline. He watched him and greatly wondered how his skills would improve over time and was delighted to see what he had turned into.

No matter what happened and who he lost to he continued on the path of helping people where he could, even if he was slightly antisocial. Unfortunately, he was still too weak to be of any true help to the rest of the world, especially with what was still to come. He had felt the coming of the Saiyans some time before they had landed and due to the nature of their intent and the power that some demonstrated, he'd decided to remain out of the action. If he were to jump in at every turn then he'd be the only one to ever deal with anything and no one would grow in power or potential.
However, what was coming was too great for any of them to deal with at this point. Some had already disappeared from his field of sense, but while his son had still reduced his power to an almost undetectable level, his muffler still held the residual energy that it had been infused with for so long. What he didn't realise was that while that muffler calmed him, it also absorbed some of the user's energy quite insignificantly and coated it to prevent destruction.
Through doing so it also worked as a homing beacon for those who knew what to search for and due to the fact that it held not only Ryner's own energy signature but Andrew's as well he was able to find and lock onto him quite easily.

"I guess that it's now time." He remarked before raising a hand to his head and running a hand through his hair gently.

He lowered his hand and turned around. He exited his castle on the mountain. The large door swung shut behind him. Turning to locate the energy once more, he locked onto it. A smile crossed his lips for a moment before he disappeared from his spot. It took him some moments to reappear a short distance away from Andrew and the other three who had been locked in fierce combat.
He let himself look over his son for a moment and take in his appearance. He had definitely suffered some pain and bruising from the battle but he took it like a man which made him proud. He disappeared once more before reappearing some steps behind his son. He allowed his energy to raise to about five thousand and gave a warm smile to his child.
That would work as a small homing beacon to those around that had any form of energy sensing. He wanted to lure a few to him. If they thought they could fight back against the Saiyans as they were now then they would be quite mistaken.

"You've grown up..." He spoke quietly, taking in his child's appearance.

                                                            "... That's... Impossible..."

It was understandable that his son couldn't believe his eyes. Ryner lowered his head slightly as a grim smile crossed his lips, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"Long time no see." He turned his head to

"I'm sure we'll have company in a moment so I think this would be a nice time to take some questions."

"Uhh... I don't know... How about how you're even alive?!" Andrew yelled loudly, clearly furious over the turn of events.

"And yet I'm not. A twist of fate, no?" But his answer seemed to only enrage him further.

"This isn't a joke, dammit! I heard you died and you never came back! Even when mum died you never returned!" Andrew yelled angrily, showing a side of himself he'd not felt in years. Ryner's eyes narrowed slightly.

"You aren't ready to hear it yet. You will be though. I believe it will have to wait until after you've dealt with the newest threat coming. That girl you just had your a** handed to you by? She's one of the weaker ones. There's a lot more coming and they're all much... MUCH stronger than her and her friends. You content with dying in one year's time? Then by all means keep yelling at me. If you'd like to face it with some manly dignity and perhaps grow stronger then I suggest you start asking something a little more relevant like... Why am I here for you and why are we waiting?" He suggested as Andrew opened his mouth to say something. He decided against it however and closed it before shaking his head.

"We're waiting for others to lock in on my power and to approach us. From there we'll decide who wants to prepare for this thing and who wants to lag behind. I honestly am fine with training you alone but the more we have to contend with the Saiyans, the better obviously." He said with an air of confidence as he raised his hand up to his shirt and pulled it forward slightly to adjust it.

"... You can really make me strong enough to protect everyone?" He asked curiously. Ryner simply nodded at him. Silence fell between the two of them for some time while Andrew thought things over. "I'll come with you on one condition... You tell me why you disappeared and left me to look after mum alone."

"I'll tell you after the full year of training. If you can survive with me the full year then I'll tell you what ever you want to know." He said honestly, his eyes calmly focused on his son's. "I promise you."

Andrew remained silent for some time. After a few moments he finally nodded. A smile crossed over Ryner's lips and he clapped his right fight into his left palm. "Right then! We're going back to my place. Follow behind and try to keep up as we're going to be moving at a rather fast pace. I suppose for your sakes I'll raise my energy a little... Just a small fraction of my power so that you can follow if you fall behind too far." He said with a smirk.

He turned his back to him, slowly beginning to release his energy. The ground beneath his feet began to tremble with the energy that was pumping out from his body, causing several small bits of earth to rip itself from the ground and levitate into the area slowly. Piece after piece would then dissolve into nothing before him.
Then all of a sudden he released the last chunk of his energy, causing the ground to crack and crumble beneath him, a crater forming under his feet, although he remained hovering in place as the ground broke, sea water filling in from beneath the island.

"Let's bounce." He said cheerfully before hovering gently from his position. When he had levitated high enough away from the desert, he engaged his flight in mid force in the direction of his home on the mountain. He hadn't engaged his full speed as he knew that they would be unable to follow him at all. Andrew had jumped into the air and follow behind quickly, shooting after him with his speed at full force. While he was definitely injured, Ryner was still quite impressed that he had managed to keep up with him during this flight. He wasn't exactly travelling slow but Andrew was also quite damaged.
It didn't take them long to reach his home. Once he had made it over the top of it, he dropped his speed instantly and let himself fall from the air. He touched off on the ground gently and placed a hand on his head, exhaling quietly.

"Much better. The desert life isn't really the life for me." He muttered as he raised a hand to his forehead and wiped the sweat from it.

"Because living in a mountain alone is that much different..." Andrew replied snidely from behind him after touching down as well. He looked around from side to side before looking back to his father's back. Ryner shook his head and sighed quietly.

"You will be put in life and death situations quite often throughout your training here. If you listen to what I teach you then you'll have nothing to worry about. If you cannot listen to me each step of the way then you won't survive. If there's a problem with what I teach you then you'd be better off sitting on the side lines while the real heroes defend this planet. Trust me, you won't be the only ones out there." He said in complete seriousness, his early happy demeanour no longer present.
"There are others that are preparing for the onslaught that's to come. To begin with you will be wearing four pieces of weighted clothing throughout the entire time you train here. The only time you will be permitted to remove it will be during sleep or showers." He explained calmly.

"The combined total of the weights will add up to 50kg and will include your chest piece, your boots, your pants and your gloves. Each piece weighs 10kg." He continued as he turned to his house. The massive castle that he owned had quite large doors. He placed his hand against the large frame and easily pushed it open. He disappeared inside and returned back outside with a set of all the clothing. He tossed it to the ground in front of him, the clothing instantly dropping to the ground.
"My clothing is already weighted. Suit up with your new gear as your training begins immediately. Andrew-" Ryner turned his attention to his son now.

There is one I want you to recruit. This one in particular has ended battle. You may find this person familiar... There are more but I'm not sure how receptive they will be."

"Tch... Fine." Andrew was obviously quite annoyed with playing messenger but at this point he needed the power boost. If anything was really going down with the Earth that would end with them all being wiped out then he needed this more than he originally thought. Ryner walked to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. Instantly Andrew felt a few new locations open up in his mind, knowledge travelling through his brain at an increased pace. "What-" He began but Ryner shook his head.

"I transferred my knowledge of their energy signatures along with their locations to you. That should be enough for you to find them. Do what you can and if they really don't want to follow then you've done the best you can." He said simply. Andrew nodded, remaining quiet while Ryner turned his back to him. Without another word, Andrew jumped into the air, disappearing and setting his course for the more familiar one.

Ryner found a grim smile crossing over his lips. Fate had a way of playing cruel scenarios through the lives of the unfortunate. He had been kept away from Andrew and Misaki at the cost of protecting them and yet Misaki had met her fate with illness instead. Andrew grew to hate his father by the looks of it and not only looked but spoke to him with venom in his voice. These things hurt the wounded father but he knew that such things must be overlooked for one day Andrew would understand the sacrifice he'd made for him.
He let out a quiet sigh.
The training regime had to continue and he had to make sure that the group would be sufficiently powered up to withstand the coming war. He turned back to his castle, a warm smile plastered over his face.

"I believe they may actually have a chance." His words were quiet but the hope he held in his heart large.

User Image Where: The King's planet :: Thoughts: I'm gonna miss you baby :: With: Kon

At the end of snakeway, North Kai's planet had been the training ground for Kon these past months. While Kon may have expected a wise sage, he most certainly would not have expected the person he met at the end. Clad in a bejewelled white jumpsuit, North Kai, otherwise preferred to be called 'The King', was unexpectedly a showoff. The King liked to perform in front of a live audience and give them a front row seat to his classic 50's rock and roll. This was despite him never getting any visitors and as a result, never has a chance to perform. That all changed when Kon arrived on the planet.

The moment Kon stepped foot onto Snake Way, The King could see his journey as if with his own eyes. He could see his determination and his potential for greatness. By the time he had arrived to his planet, he had already decided to train the youth in his martial arts. One curious aspect to the Kai's planet was how it was extremely difficult to keep balance and avoid falling over. This was due to the small planet's ever shifting gravitational pull that changed the center of gravity at random intervals. This proved to be an excellent way to master control over one's body and Ki.

The King had an unusual training method to say the least. His ideals expressed the importance of knowing one's emotions and not being afraid to let them out. 'Power comes from your heart' he would tell his new student, his powerful voice erupting into song. He would always sing it seemed; everyday. To help bring out Kon's power, The King told him how the secret to opening up one's emotions was by screaming their love's name at the top of their lungs. At this, he shouted into the air "Priscilla!!!!" which caused giant reverberations to echo throughout the sky. Afterwards, he insisted on Kon doing the same.

As The King trained Kon on the tiny planet, he eventually told him about how he used unusual ki back on earth that gave him an enormous power boost. Scratching his chin, the Kai placed a hand on Kon's head and instantly felt the power hidden within. "Whoa mama, never expected to see that power again anytime soon." He stated with surprise, his hand quickly jumping off. He went on to explain how he had the potential to use God Ki, a special type of ki that not even he could use. If he were to master it, it would allow his power to reach heights no other could possibly reach. He told him how these type of saiyans were commonly referred to as Super Saiyan Gods. As it stood now, he knew Kon was far away from being able to attain that almighty power but knew he could potentially tap into it just a bit.

With the right training, The King focused on bringing out that dormant power hidden within Kon. He knew however that the power could potentially rip him apart from the inside out. "You gotta watch that power you got buddy. There's a reason they are called Super Saiyan Gods afterall. You may be a tough little firecracker but you just ain't got enough power to withstand the full intensity of it." He went to say after a particularly intense training session. "By what you've told me about the fight you had back on Earth, I'd wager you were just about running dry on your normal ki and had pleeeenty of space for that super duper power boost to be held. If it wasn't for that, you woulda popped and been down here even sooner." He finished, striking a pose as his legs spasmed in an odd way as they usually did when he danced.

Days turned into weeks and weeks into months. Now it was only one month before the next Saiyan invasion that would threaten the fate of mankind. Early that morning as the sun began to rise in the distance, a familiar and irritating voice radiated around the small planet as it began to sing.

"Well, since my baby left me,
I found a new place to dwell.
It's down at the end of lonely street
    at Heartbreak Hotel~!"

The King continued to sing as he stepped into Kon's room armed with a microphone and sporting his white bedazzled jumpsuit as per usual. "Waaaaake up sleepy head~! Don't you know that you've only got one month before the greatest clash of good versus evil that the world has ever seen?!" He sung, whipping the sheets off his student, twisting them into a rope, and whipping him in the butt. "Don't think that you can just slack on me now, you hear? We still got a lot of training to do and not much time to do it so rise and shine and smell the bacon~!" He finished, twisting around and pointing at Kon in a dramatic pose, his oiled up hairdo glistening in the morning sunlight that shined through the window.

    Kon Theme / Kon Voice

Much had happened over the passed eleven months. Kon had made it through many trials, including Snake Way itself. It was fortunate no one was with him due to the temper he threw over it being so long. Fortunately he came across a small castle on the way that had this universes princess snake. The results of this however were different. Instead of trying to eat Kon, she wanted him to stay with her. Kon refused and tried to leave, only to be held against his will. It didn't take long for the castle to be reduced to ashes and for Kon to be on his way. After the long, grueling journey across Snake Way, Kon came across a planet that was rather tiny. This was where he was supposed to go? Eh he wouldn't complain and would just go meet this man he was told to. He was expecting a martial arts expert who was up in the years. A wise sage if you will. What he found however was a man who was apparently deprived of the twenty first century. The man actually scared Kon with his appearance and personality. Kon even refused to believe it was him or be trained by him. But eventually he gave in, and thus begin his training. One big change he noticed was the gravity. It was like he was trying to stand on water. The planets gravity was so different that it caused him great frustration, and some pain.

With the guidance of the Kai however, Kon grew used to the change quickly. It was then that his power begin to rise quickly. As they trained, North Kai told him that he never expected the power he held to pop up anytime soon again. This greatly confused the man but he listened to his explanation. According to him, he was the first one in a long time, given a Kai's life span. Him, a God? What was this crap? If he was a God then why was he dead? Not believing it at first and continuing his training, the North Kai actually focused on bringing out Kon's dormant power. Over time he begin to change drastically. Kon's hair became spikier, his muscle mass went down a bit, and his energy begin to become harder to sense. The North Kai explained to him that the Super Saiyan God was a being that held unfathomable amounts of power and that he only accessed a portion of it. While being able to transform into the God Mode, Kon needed some form of stability, and thus could only use part of the power. If he pushed it any further he could end up killing himself according to North Kai. Listening with intent on his advice, Kon realized that in order to get stronger, he had to forgo his normal Ki and focus on the God Ki he could obtain.

Increasing the amounts he could use would in turn let him survive greater powers of it until he would fully use the power. The training with the Kai over the next months was brutal and hard. Kon did all he could and more to train and learn more about it. Eventually he was actually able to use the God Form more frequently then before, but the resulting transformation left him exhausted. That would be something he would need to work on. Learning more about this form, Kon found out that the Super Saiyan God is actually a being who can only appear for a limited time, regardless of training. This meant that no matter what Kon did, he couldn't sustain the form forever. One month before the current day, Kon begin training both his regular Ki and God Ki together. A idea he had was to shelve two parts. He would fight with his regular power, and then if it called for it he could replace his regular energy with the God one, thus allowing him toe extend the time and power of the form. It was a little training measure he made up. Ironically the form had something to it Kon didn't like. The forms drawback was that after a certain time limit, Kon couldn't use it again for a little bit since he body had to get adjusted to the power he used again. But if people in general transfer their hope and light in the form of energy to him, he could actually extend the forms time limit by a small amount. This was dumb to him and he ignored it a lot.

Finally the day came, one month from the invasion. Kon was asleep in his own bed and was resting quite peacefully. The North Kai made sure that wouldn't continue. His singing woke the Saiyan up and angered him a bit. Suddenly the cover was pulled from him and the Kai said the invasion was in one month. Kon was then whipped in the butt and leaped up. "You b*****d!" He yelled and swung his fist around, hitting a wall and leaving a crack in it. "I told you not to do that! Eh forget it you know it irritates me so you do it for fun." Kon groaned and shook his head. The North Kai told him they had a lot of training to do and little time to do it. What did he mean by that? "What are you talking about...I am dead, there is no time for me. And I have nothing to do with the invasion, I am a spirit, the only help I can give is scare people in cemeteries." Kon told the Kai before leaping out of bed and stretching out. This was going to be a long day, he still had much more to do. Walking passed the Kai and going outside, he saw the tree in the distance that was there every day. "Does this place ever change." Kon complained but tried to get in the mood to train. Walking into the open area, he begin to focus his Ki again. Just another day of training his God Ki, he wasn't even sure if there was results with the form really or not.

The training had been hell. Eleven months had come and gone but it had been the longest year of his life. Andrew had successfully brought back Reira from the battlefield and managed to tend to her wounds. They were nothing life threatening but she had sure been fighting hard. From there, the two of them had been forced to wear weighted clothing for the first month of training. A total weight of 50kg was applied to them at all times and were told they must hunt and live outside until they had the strength to move completely unhindered by the weight. With the additional weight, the two of them struggled for almost the entire month. The last week was the real turning point when they released the secret behind moving without fear.
After the month had been exhausted, they were invited into the castle. The rules were explained. Andrew and Reira were forced to fight and train on the first level of the castle for three months. The first level would generate many warriors. While they seemed like illusions, they were far from it. Andrew never asked the question but he always wondered how his father had managed to produce warriors inside this castle with energy and power. Every time they were struck down, they came back stronger and better than before. Reira and Andrew were forced to work together and reply on each other many times. A couple of times he thought he would die but they managed to pull through.

After the three months and besting of the castle first level, Ryner allowed them to enter the second level. The entire room was the second floor of the castle. The walls, floors and ceiling were severely reinforced to resist any kind of major damage. Andrew and Reira were then locked in there with instructions to defeat their next challenge. They would receive no rest or escape until they managed to defeat their next enemy. In here, Andrew met the second scariest creature of his entire life. The energy it released was so great that it caused fear in them for the first week. Their lives were never safe, not for a single moment. The entirety of the next four months were spent struggling against the demon. They relied so greatly on each other that the bond between Andrew and Reira became so strong, they could read each other's thoughts when it came to ploys against the demon. The saving grace came at the hands of Reira's blade which seemed to hold holy properties within it.
Her final attack had been what saved Andrew from having his heart torn from his chest by the great demon when acting as bait. The death of the demon had signalled the release from the second level and the entry into the third. On this level, Ryner met with them personally once more. He explained that the entire castle was layered with special stone that allowed all ki released inside of it, no matter the strength, to be hidden from all outside of it. Nothing inside could be sensed, yet powers outside could be sensed from within. He also revealed that the demon they had defeated only contained one fifth of the actual power the real demon possessed, although he would answer nothing further on the subject.

They were then given their final task. Reira and Andrew teamed up once more to take down Ryner. Their goal was to score one single hit against him. The two of them had believed this was too easy and approached him with overconfidence. In the entire three months they remained in there, they had been unable to do anything to defeat him or even touch him. After a total of eleven months in the castle, Andrew and Reira devised a ploy so devious to clear their goal against Ryner. Andrew sustained several injuries including a couple of broken ribs, but he created a perfect opening that allowed Reira to strike Ryner with her blade. It might as well have been a feather touching him. It left no mark against his flesh but a drop of blood ran down his palm and dripped from his finger tips.

"You've passed." Ryner's expression softened into a smile.

The following time they spent together involved Ryner applying healing methods to Andrew's wounds to speed his recovery up. It wouldn't fix it immediately but would limit the damage recovery to that of a couple of days total. He allowed them to finally remove their weighted clothing, giving them one month now to relax and rest. While Reira had not been present, Andrew had grilled his father once more for information on why he hadn't come back.
The information shared with him was like a dead weight in his stomach. He had never expected something so horrible to be a truth to his disappearance. The struggle to support his family, the uncovering of the demon, the evil contract it required.
                                                              The horrible consequences.
He clenched his fists and lowered his head, a wave of shame washing over him. His father had done everything for him and yet he had been such a brat. He grit his teeth.

"I'm sorry." Andrew replied in answer to everything. "... I'll be back before the Saiyans land. We'll discuss it more then." He said quietly after leaving.

Many times during their training of the weighted clothing in the first month Reira had expressed desire to bring back a loved one from death. Kon, a Saiyan of apparent loyalty and compassion was dear to her. Perhaps he was a close friend or someone she could rely on but Andrew knew she wanted it more than anything else right now.
What had confused Andrew was how she had planned to do it.

The dragon balls could bring him back. My friend knows how to find them.
Her words still echoed in his mind, even after his own stupid ones had come out.

... First I've never seen a dragon... And second how do the testicles of a dragon bring a person back to life?

He would remember that day as a moment that Reira would never let him live down. How was he supposed to know that seven glowing, pulsating orange balls weren't the actual testicles of a dragon? He had never heard of them before and had been even more confused when she tried to explain it, but now he knew what they were going to be doing.
Now the time had come to find Reira's friend who apparently knew how to track them down or something of the sort.

"Are you ready?" He asked her as he stood outside the giant doors of the castle, a bag slung over his shoulder with all of his content that he owned inside. He floated off the ground beside Reira, taking off into the air as she would beside him too, turning to face the direction of West City before taking off at a great speed.

"They'll be ready when they come back." Ryner commented with a smirk. "They've already grown so powerful... But my oh my." He held up a hand and looked it over. It appeared normal at first but after a moment a deep red, glowing scar appeared over the spot Reira had slashed.
"That blade of Reira's is quite scary." She would come in handy one day.
Especially when the horrible day of judgement fell upon them. Her blade would be their guiding light.

"He's so adorable... He looks just like you!" proudly exclaimed a new mother to a healthy child. The father loomed over the new one, already sheltering it with his pride and love before it even recognized or felt it. Or perhaps his feelings were strong enough to make the young one feel them deep inside his heart. As once his father's face came into view, a smile was immediately shined toward him. "But his eyes have your kindness." replied the young man to his wife by her bed side. While the child observed the world it was now brought into. With nothing but an excited smile lighting the room with its pure radiance. With the warmth of his loving parents, and the comfort of his home, that child grew into a young man.

Now standing by the wayside a little ways off from his home. Its already been twenty years since he lost his father to a disease neither he nor his mother understood. Though he was a child at the time and didn't understand what it meant to experience loss, his mother's grief displayed the sensation to him in so many ways that he felt like he's known it all along. His mother became ill not too long afterward, and its been ten years since then. Snatching the fishing rod from beneath the waters, he laid his eyes on the catch of his day. A nice sized fish from the pond would be more than enough for his mother. Though he can only seem to catch one, he'd be satisfied just to be able to see her have a meal instead of him anyday.

Reclining it over his shoulder, he turned to walk home. Half way there, instead of a sun grazing him with its light foretelling a brighter day, ominous clouds started to form in the sky.Aand his heart sank to the pit of his stomach at the sight of them. Instinctively, he started to walk faster and continued until he was in a full-on-sprint. Whatever it was that was in the air that day, would never be forgotten. The sight that awaited him once he finally made it home was the first nightmare he'd ever experience. Standing by her bedside, his head sunk between his shoulders as reality continued to beat him senseless. That day, he lost more than himself. He lost everything that he knew. Even after burying her did it not sink in fully. But one day, not a week after, did he come home to expect his mom standing by the window waiting to welcome him in, and he realized that she wouldn't be, did it finally happen.

All of his depression had turned to anger and combusted into a rampage. His anger and grief in the world guided him back to the place where his mom had first touched down on Earth. Yunazabit Heights. It was as if her spirit had called him there to calm him. Her egg ship, filled the scent he never wanted to let go was all he had left of her, and by it he stayed. Never leaving its side until he froze over. That day, though the sky seemed to share his sadness, it didn't shed a single tear for him. The rains of comfort was a sensation he'd never feel. It has been roughly one-hundred years since then. In the present day, extraordinary beings have come to exist on the planet. Far stronger than those who walked while he lived. Their energy from all their strenuous training began to fill him. Reviving the blood that flowed through his veins and calling him back to the real of the waking. The veins of anger that protruded from his head all those years ago finally started to pulsate again.

His heart at first beated slowly, his eyes started to quiver as they forced themselves to re-open. With every passing second, he started to come to. And as he did, the image of his mother fading along with it. Jolted awake by the visage, his eyes frantically scanned his surroundings. He tried to move his limbs, but something was constricting him. This only served to fuel his anger ever more so. Rapidly his heart rate started to increase as the flames of rage began to climb inside of him until they finally gained release. With his eyes gaining its life back, his energy flared instantly and cracked the ice that concealed him.

"Mmmgh!" he groaned through the ice. Forcefully, he boosted his energy enough to cut through the ice like an oxidizing flame melting through metal. Eventually, it pierced through the top of his tomb and raised to the skies as he ruptured the structure from the inside. Giving himself enough space to finally move, he clenched his fist close to both sides of his abdomen before tossing them outward with a vengeful screech that ripped through the ice as it broke completely and scattered all over.

"AaaAAAAAGH!" he continued to roar loudly as his screams embodied the anguish he's withheld over the years. Finally free, he started descend from the air as he dropped rapidly. As a closing descent he slammed into the ground with a island shattering thud.

On his knees, his hair fell before him as he gasped for his breath. Eyes regaining focus as he lifted their gaze upward into the open field. Its been, a long time.
