Please oh Please I'm not the one
I didn't Make her leave us
I Don't want to die, Please Mother
Now I can't go home

"Why Did you have to leave Alice?"

Anna looked at him, walked up to him with a stern look, then giggled and bent down and picked him up and hugged him. It was something she liked to do when she was little. She was probably one of the very few in wonderland who could, first, tolerate him long enough to get to like him, and was sane enough to care about him enough to hug him. She couldn't think of any others that had, except maybe the duchess. "I miss you Cheshy." she said quietly. "I cannot wait until this is over." She said softly.

"I miss My Father, I hope he's safe"

Not afraid, but terrified
Of things I can't control
Alice Caused this misery and yet
It seemed unavoidable
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

The Cheshire cat was surprised to say the least at being hugged in this way again, especially since Anna seemed to be skeptical of his agenda, but it wasn't unwanted. He purred softly as the scene brought back old memories with his friend. "If Alice returns, hopefully Wonderland will get back on track," he said this straying from charactrer, but in all honesty he had missed his friend and he had been worried about both her and the fate of Wonderland.

Anna sat on the rock again, this time holding Cheshy in her lap. She ran her hand over his spine, simple for betting a cat, but it also helped her be calm. Cats were good for that. She hugged him again. She couldn't think of anything to say. She had wanted to be near her friend for a long time. She decided now it didn't matter what side he was on, if he was going to rat her out to the Queen he would do it whether they were near eachother or not. And she really wanted him around.

He purred softly and grinned to show his content. He sat silently as she stroked his fur. The Cheshire cat wasn't normally one to be cuddly, but this was one of his rare moments.

Anna was glad that her friend was allowing her to cuddle him. "Cheshy...I feel like everything is about to take another huge turn, and things are going to change again, soon. Do you think that means Alice is coming back soon?" she said. She'd felt this way before Alice came the first time, now, she was sure it mean Alice would come again and Save them this time.

The cat suddenly widened its eyes, then slowly settled back into its grin. "Something out of the ordinary has arrived in Wonderland. It's presence announces the coming of change." The Cheshire cat grinned even wider then said softly, "Welcome back, Alice."

Anna smiled happily and hugged Cheshy. "she's back. we have to tell Hatty." she said and she set her friend down, though he could always hop on her shoulder for a ride if he so desired it. She took off running towards where Hatty was always having his Tea party. Only a little had changed there. Hare, well he was actually asleep with Dormy for a change. Anna didn't know this, but it was true.

The Cheshire Cat, rather than risking his energy, decided to disappear from the scene in his usual fashion and reappeared at the March Hare's house at about the time that Anna arrived. He appeared on a low hanging branch by the table. The Mad Hatter was quietly drinking his tea at one corner of the table, which was crowded by the Hatter, the Hare, and the Dormouse. The Dormouse was asleep as usual, and was accompanied by the Hare today. The Mad Hatter looked up from his tea for a moment and saw the Cheshire cat and Anna who had just appeared at his tea party.

As the Mad Hatter looked up from his tea, he smiled as he spotted his good friend Anna as well as the Cheshire Cat, who was more or less friends with everyone. Everyone except the Queen, that is. He laughed slightly and set his tea on the table, "Anna, so good to see you. I got you a present for your unbirthday!" He pulled out a wrapped gift box and handed it to the girl. "As you can see, I was in the middle of tea...Please, please, sit down, sit down. Have some tea! I'm afraid the March Hare has been a bit exhausted as of late, otherwise he'd be delighted to see you."

The Dormouse said something through his sleep along the lines of "delighted...to see...you" but it was hard to tell what he was saying, or if he was just mumbling gibberish.

Anna giggled and walked over. "come along Cheshy." she said and went and took her seat by the Hatter, and took the present. "I have good news and sad News Hatty, which would you like to hear first?" she asked opening the present and finding a wonderful present inside. It probably would soon be lost among the tea, but she didn't mind much. when you got a present every time, it was hard to keep up with them all.

A teapot floated into the air and poured out two cups of tea. One of the cups settled in front of Anna, the other in front of the Cheshire Cat. The cat lied down in front of the cup and lapped at the tea with his tongue. The Mad Hatter sipped his tea, "The sad news first, then the good news. Start at the beginning, and when you finish, stop."

"Why Did you have to leave Alice?"

Anna smiled. her conversations with Hatty were far different than the ones with Chesshy, but she was fairly fluent in both. "The sad news, is very simple. It is that tomorrow, for me, is not an unbirthday. Tomorrow is my real birthday, and you don't celebrate those." she said shaking her head. "but the good news more than makes up for it. See I was hiding. I do that. I didn't want Cheshy to find me, but he did. I learned the state of my father, and some other things, but we both sensed it a few moments ago. Alice is back!" she said sipping her tea.

The Mad Hatter scoffed a little when she said that the next day was her birthday and not her unbirthday. He had always been rather not fond of birthdays since they only came once a year. He'd much rather celebrate an unbirthday, and there were three hundred sixty-four of those each year. When he heard the news about Alice, however, he brightened up. "Alice has returned?" He set his tea down, "are you quite sure?"

The Cheshire cat grinned, "Have you ever known me to be wrong, Hatter?" The cat turned his head upside down and all the way around, "I sensed a force enter Wonderland, and it was the same force that appeared when Alice appeared ten years ago."
