Digimon: A new adventure

Rei walked silently over near Jake as they celebrated. It wasn't a happy day for her, she had done nothing to help out. Why was she feeling so guilty about it? She barely knew the people near her.

A Digidestined? My Digimon?

Renamon breathed heavily, looking down at the burnt and fight marks. Her back was sore from slamming into the tree earlier but her main concern was everyone else's saftey. Maxi ran over to Renamon, giving her a hug before she pushed the human away.

"C'mon Kit their gonna' give us a feast!"

The creature sneered and shook her head.

"You all go. I'm keeping watch incase something else attacks. You fools simply play around and look what happened."

She seemed to have disappeared, but actually teleported into a nearby tree and perched herself onto the branch. Maxi sighed and shoved her hands into her pockets before looking at the pink bird. Smirking she went to everyone and held a thumbs up.

"Kit ain't gonna' come ta' the feast but she's gonna' keep look out incase."

Jake looked at Rei with a confused expresiion. "somethign wrong?" he asked her, concerned.

Jake smiled at Maxi, "why? Jijimon said that there was only on threat here" he said. He thought for a moment, "I wonder what kind of food digimon eat" he said outloud.

Rei looked away from Jake and looked over at Salamon. "Nothing is wrong. I'm going to stay outside too." She motioned for Salamon to go ahead and follow the others. Rei knew she was reason Salamon wasn't able to fight that digimon.

Maxi frowned and shook her head.

"Like I know...And there is no way I'm leavin' you outside! Your gettin' food in ya' and so is Kit!"

The female reached a hand out to Rei and gave a playful wink to the small girl.

"C'mon Sweets, I ain't gonna' bite! Ya' can call me Maxi like everyone else, or Max if ya' wanna! Ya' can't be shy now since we're all basically a team now till we defeat whoever or whatever 'it' is!"

Jake smiled at Maxi. "thats really sweet of you" he said. His white hair covered his sapphire blue eye's slightly. He looked over at Luna, "come on luna" he said.

Agumon ran over to where Renamon was sitting, "hey renamon come on. Arn't you hungry?" He asked, his green eye's looking at her curiously.

Renamon looked down at Agumon and sneered.

"I'm fine......"

Was all she said as the wind blew gently. Her tail swayed as her eyes closed and her arms folded across her chest. She didn't need food, she needed to have them all safe. And that Maxi human wasn't like the others. She was in constant danger when she stood next Renamon, and it made the digimon wonder why she would do that even if they had just met. Opening her eyes she looked down at Agumon.

"Go back to Jake. If he is attacked it'll be your fault. Unlike you I can teleport, so I do not need to worry."

Rei just nodded silently in response to Maxi. "I'm Rei" She looked up to the older female, then bend down, picking up Salamon. She felt more comfortable holding the pet-like digimon. It made her feel like she could help the digimon out somehow. Rei was too nervous to help it fight, she had to try and stop that now. This is obviously real.

Agumon rolled his eye's, "anyone ever tell you that your to paranoid" He asked. "Jijimon said that DarkTyranomon was the only threat, so why should we worry. Besides, you have your sencing and I have my keen sense of smell, we should be able to tell when danger comes...usually........"

"ok..." her stomach growled and she blushed, kudumon didn't really seem to notice.

She smiled as she picked up Salamon and she placed an arm around the small girl's shoulders, leading her to where Jake and Luna were as well as Lance. She smiled as the small Digimon cheered for them and such, and Maxi gave them a wink before sitting on the ground where one motioned for her to sit. Maxi sat and patted the seat next to her for Rei.

"Nice ta' meetcha' Rei. Don't be so shy okay? Everythin'll be okay!"

Renamon sneered, her sharp eyes looking down at Agumon.

"Of course it does help. It helped us see that dark follow coming...After he nearly destroyed the village. And I am not paranoid but protective and serious. Unlike you all who clown around and play, I like to watch and observe and know what is happening. Now if you wish to continue in this pointless bickering then stay. If not, go back to the others and do not other in affairs that do not concern you understand? Anything is possible and I for one do not wish for another attack."

Jake smiled and sat down at the table with the others. He looked around a bit, "anyone see Agumon" he asked but shrugged, "I'm sure he'll turn up." The digimon then procedded to bring out many diffrent delicous dishes onto the table. A mouth watering scent filled the air. Fresh fruit, tender meat, delicous breverages. It was all so wonderfull.

Agumon smiled, 'if anything is possible then isn't possible that bonding with your tamer and having a good time would be good for you" he pointed out. And with that Agumon turned and ran back to the others.

Lance and gotsumon was walking to the feast both of them were really hungry.But gotsumon stopped and looked at Lance."Hey Lance what is the human world like."Then Lance stopped and looked back at gotsumon.Well um most of it is covered in water and the rest is covered in forests and cities,why."Well i have always wanted to go there.When this is all over will you take me there Lance."Well yeah of course i will take you there."Then they ran to the feast and sat down with his mouth watering.

Smiling the human placed food onto her plate, from meat to strange looking fruits and mush. It was all weird looking, but smelt good all the same. Grabbing the meat she looked at everyone, but put it down only to lift up her cup and stand up.

"To the new Digidestined! A New family, new friends, and a new beginning into an adventure!"

She saw Agumon come up, yet Renamon seemed to still be gone. Well it was Kit after all, and she seemed very serious about things. Shrugging the feeling away she decided to bring the digimon food later.

Renamon listened to Agumon's words and was about to protest until he ran off. Her eyes glared, watching everyone go and eat. The smell entered her nose and through her nostrils. Bond? Ha! She would never bond with that human. In the end they will be separated anyway when she would have to go back to the human world and leave her. Better to not get attached with no pain than get attached with alot of it....But, maybe he was right? No! She wasn't going to be the one crying when the human lefts and forgot about them...
