A Digidestined? My Digimon?
"You have GOT to be kiddin' me..."
She sat up slowly, left hand instinctively reaching for her black hat. Her slender body was hunched over, black jacket hanging off the shoulders to expose her short sleeved shirt. The silver necklace shined in the sun's rays while the silver ornament hanging from the black ribbon shined as well. Where the hell was she? Gazing about with her bright green eyes Maxi saw herself in some village. The buildings seemed abit..Small for her taste, and after quirking an eyebrow as some small creature came out she knew she had to be dreaming. There were tons of them! Small...Blob things. Maxi kept her cool though, not screaming or anything but simply sat there with a tilted head and a stupid look on her face.
"I'm impressed...You didn't freak out like the other humans."
The voice seemed emotionless and tough, yet female's as well. Turning her head Maxi saw a large fox-like creature, arms folded over her chest and long graceful tail swaying back and forth. The human sat there still, keeping silent as she waited for herself to merely wake up.
"But your as stupid as them...Stand up and state your name human."
Commanding much? The kitsune's bright blue eyes narrowed impatiently as Maxi rose slowly to her feet. Black combat boots were upon her feet, black cargo pants tucked into them to give her a rather..Interesting look. The jacket was replaced over her shoulders as the wind blew lightly, short red hair brushing against her pale skin.
"I'm Maxi Soyokaze, and where the hell am I!?"
If this thing was going to be cold than so was she. The fox lifted her head high, looking down at Maxi as if superior. Unfolding her arms the creature tossed a small opal colored device to the human, who caught it questioningly.
"Maxi, you are in the Digital World, a world inhabited by Digimon such as myself. You are a Digidestined, and I am your Digimon, a Guardian so you can say. I am Renamon."
The creature gave a small bow before Maxi simply laughed at the whole thing. But..She wasn't waking up. Renamon raised an eyebrow and kept silent, allowing a few moments to soak in before Maxi realized she wasn't sleeping. The human placed a left hand to her head, the right shoving the device carelessly into her jacket pocket before sighing.
"Alright Kit, I'll just go with the flow till I wake up..."
Kit? Renamon opened her mouth at the strange nickname yet said nothing. This human was very..Strange, but nonetheless the fox digimon simply nodded her head and turned to walk. Maxi blinked as Renamon went off, but automatically followed. If she was her digimon, then she had a right to be a lost puppy! The digimon stopped as she saw Gatsumon and Lance, only to sigh and stay silent. She knew that they were there for the same reason, and could care less to say a word to them. In all honesty, Renamon didn't even WANT to be here. Why the leader of the good digimon chose her she had no clue. As others came into view her and Maxi stayed silent. That was one cool thing about that human, she was calm-cool, collective..And not too out of control...That was until Maxi waved at Luna, Lance, Jake, and Rei wildly but kept a cool attitude. Renamon closed her eyes..This was going to be a long journey....

Maxi went over to Jake and the others, flinging her arms around Jake and Luna with a huge smile.
"Guess this ain't a dream after all!"
Renamon glared at Maxi as she joked around with the other humans only to see the other digimon and then Agumon glare at her. The tall beast-man digimon closed her eyes angrily before speaking a response to everyone's obnoxious talking.
"Incase you all have forgotten, we are NOT here to make friends but to fight and protect. We have most of the Destined here, but whether the others come or not we still have a job to do....."
Maxi sighed, head lowering as she removed her arms from her friends. Why the hell did she have to get a b*tchy partner? Standing up straight the human walked over to Renamon with a sly smirk. Grabbing the digimon's long tail the human placed it around her neck like a boa and gave a wink.
"Chill out Kit, we're fine. If we're supposed to save the world then we will! Leave it to us! We can't be serious all the time ya' know?"
Surprised by what the human did, Renamon snatched her tail away from her and grabbed the human's shirt, paw back in a fist as if she was about to hit her. Maxi raised an eyebrow as nothing honestly happened, and she shoved her hands in her jacket pockets lazily.
"Your lucky I'm your partner or else I'd have you pay..."
The kitsune let go and folded her arms once again before Maxi pulled her tail and ran back to the group of others while laughing.

"Oh ha ha Jake, very funny...Wha?"
Maxi turned and blinked, only to grit her teeth as she saw a huge black dinosaur thing pop from the everygreen forest around the village. Renamon snapped her eyes opened and turned to look at it, only to crouch down. How did she not sense this energy before? Beating herself up mentally the Fox digimon ran forward and jumped infront of the group, beside Maxi.
"I told you all to stop fooling around! Maxi, get somewhere safe!"
The human jumped and stared at Renamon, only to shake her head. The female creature growled and crouched down, ready to fight as Maxi looked at the huge monster..Maybe running would be smart? Nah, what fun will that be?
