- Well something was definitely different about him. Aislyn had concluded that as she watched Dorian’s odd movements that seemed slow and deliberate. He seemed to know that she and Yuu were there. . .but he was so distracted that it was like looking at someone sleep walking through his motions. There but trapped in a dream making reality distort into illusion. Swallowing she glanced at Yuu who was being rather peculiar himself, bowing to Dorian like that he spoke to her in the same dry humor he always did but there was something warm and generous about the way he spoke to the blue haired male. That confused her all the more, wasn’t. . .Yuu just treating Dorian like he treated everyone; incompetent. . .when Yuu was upset he often tried to mask his emotions behind that cold mask. Yet now. . .now he was treating Dorian so tenderly! Ouch. . .that was way to hard to wrap her tired mind around, so basically she just gave up, folding her arms behind her as she glanced between the two vampires wondering if this was normal. Come to think of it other then Yuu and his mother (occasionally sister) she had never seen to vampire interact. . .this could be interesting.
Yuu was a little confused himself. Dorian had been a normal, an Aristocrat vampire like himself, minutes before when he rescued Aislyn from her stupidity and watched as this blue haired male ran off. Seemingly to upset to stick around after Yuu’s cruelness to a close friend, that had already been mended and taken care of. No. . .Dorian wasn’t an Aristocrat, not even close. . .he was a Pureblood. Newly awakened and seemed to be a little lost in his thoughts. That could even be a shock for a vampire. Turning from a second class to a first class in such a short amount of time it had to be addling with his mind as Yuu watched him raise his head a little from staring at his hand.
Dorian Edevane
He had never heard of such a name uttered in society anymore. Edevane was the name of Origin, tied with in the first family. Kurans, they had a son from the Origin but the other son had been lost to time and quickly forgotten about. To be an Edevane, a sole survivor,. . .hidden for all this time. . .Yuu was struck asunder. He couldn’t even get his mind to process the information quickly as he stared down the Pureblood in front of him. A Son lost for such along time, why did he have to be the one to welcome him back into the Vampire’s Society. Sighing he rubbed a palm across his forehead, glancing at Aislyn who was staring at Dorian a little shock showing in her features.
'Dorian’s. . .gone,’ she asked her voice just above a whisper but soft, like she wasn’t fathoming the fact the vampire male she knew before could just be. . gone. The one taken his place a new vampire in a odd sense. Dorian was still. . .Dorian it was just he was awakened and far more powerful then what either two had expected. However, Yuu hadn’t gotten around to really explain clearly the linage or levels vampires placed themselves into. For Dorian to be a Pureblood was something she didn’t understand, for the blue haired male to say that the Dorian they once knew was gone would sound like something terrifying for her. Like her friend had been taken over, possessed by another. In truth Aislyn was having a bit of trouble keeping up. It was Dorian. The same body, just. . .different personality. ..atmosphere surrounded him. She felt scared but at the same time awed by the power making her want to submit to his every whim despite her own pride and stubbornness. Just as Yuu felt.
‘H-how can you be gone? Your. . .standing right there,’ she added onto her words after a short moment and took a step forward, watching his face carefully as he looked at her. However, he beckoned for Yuu as he finished speaking. Ah, so Yuu had been right. A Origin Son. Before he knew it his feet were taking him closer, shooting a warning look at Aify to stay away and stay still. He had never encountered a newly awakened Pureblood. Stable or unstable he didn’t want Aify anywhere near Dorian anymore until he assessed the Pureblood’s attitude. Dorian might be a Pureblood but that didn’t mean Yuu was going to be holy loyal. His tolerance to one just hadn’t been built yet. Coming to a stop a hair’s breadth from the outstretched hand Yuu gazed, his emerald eye curious and mystified as he stared at the opposing male. What the hell was he suppose to do now? Bow at his feet, kiss his hand in show of loyalty he didn’t feel yet? No way in hell was he going to let himself fall into submission in front of the human girl, but his feet wouldn’t listen to him as he came over. A step close to grinding is teeth in frustration he fought for something to say.
‘Edevane-sama. . .you have been missing for a very long time. . .it is a pleasure to be welcoming you back,’ Yuu’s voice sounded more calm then what he even expected, his steady glare had melted some. He really had no problems with Dorian as a person, he was a little worried for Aislyn to be so close, so ignorant, but he was slightly afraid for what he felt as well. It was all rather confusing but magical as well.
