Indent He gave a snort and rolled his eyes, rinsing the mop in the bucket before splatting it back down onto the floor. " Pretty sure trouble's impossible to avoid by this point, " he replied dryly, giving a little smile and shrugging one shoulder. Hearing the guy worked in a bar somehow wasn't surprising, the way he dealt with the scene earlier. " I can imagine. " Jazz cracked a grin. " Must be a hell of a time after happy hour. " Part of him wanted to ask where the guy worked - he was always looking for a new place to hang out after hours - but the rest of him figured that would be awkward, maybe a little weird even, so he kept his mouth shut. The mop continued to slide along the floor wetly, cleaning up the rest of the spilled coffee before he dumped it back into the bucket on the trolley. Once more he looked back to ocean-eyes, who introduced himself as Killian. The barista nodded once. " Jasper. Nice to meet ya. " He paused, then chuckled and shrugged again. " No, I'm fine. I might smell like coffee for the rest of the day, but no harm done. "

Indent He wheeled the mop-trolley off to the side a little. Most strangers wouldn't give two shits about the barista, coffee spills or no. It was... Nice. He seemed like a genuinely nice person, which was sadly rare nowadays. A bark of laughter escaped the man, hazel-green eyes lighting up in amusement as he grinned. " To be honest? It's never happened to me before now, either. I just hope this doesn't become a thing wherever I work. " He paused, then looked over to the boy who'd spilled his drink in the first place, asking both himself and the gorgeous ravenette if they were alright. " Just breathe, kiddo. I'm fine. " Then he looked to the raven, who was slumped in his seat with a pretty blonde girl, and looking... Decidedly worse for wear. Was that blood? " Holy s**t, " he muttered, fumbling with his pocket to grab at his cell phone. Ambulance. They needed an ambulance. He'd just jammed in the nine and the first one when the girl from the coffee line announced that 'George' was going to be just fine, that it looked worse than it really was. Except Jasper was fairly sure the kid's credit card had said 'Gabriel.' His eyes narrowed, suspicion and confusion hazing over his irises - but before he could dwell on that for long, a group of complete losers came into the store.

Indent A low sigh escaped the man, his jaw tight as he watched the group insult the nurse-babysitter-whatever she was. " Look, guys. None of that in here. " His voice was firm, holding a sharp edge of anger. He'd dealt with enough insane s**t today without these morons making it worse. But a moment later one of them moved for the girl, and there was a sudden burst of smoke. For a moment he was worried that Talen kid had set something else on fire, but there was no scent of burning. In fact, it was more of a sweet smoke, and that baffled him. Jasper waved one hand around to try and disperse the cloud, coughing a little and cursing under his breath. When the smoke finally faded away, there was no sign of the girl. Just a pile of clothes on the floor. Two and two quickly clicked together in his mind. " Sweet baby Jesus, " he muttered under his breath, quickly scooping up the clothes before anybody else could catch sight of the woman's attire on the floor and heading to the back room. Was it possible? He'd never actually met another of the... The Zodiac, before. He'd done his research, hell, he'd prayed constantly for somebody like him when he was a child. Was it even possible? He'd long since resigned himself to being a freak. A very lone freak.

Indent Then there was a loud swear and an exclamation of 'that guy needs an ambulance' and Jasper wasn't sure if he wanted to laugh hysterically or swear. Yeah, he was out of a job after this. And Starbucks could never be used as a reference again. Ever. For a moment he just beat his head lightly against the wall behind him, eyes closed, trying desperately to collect himself before going back out there. He could hear one of his coworkers calling an ambulance for the second guy, and while she did that he went to stuff the woman's clothes into a bag and headed out, only to watch the raven-haired guy make a run for the bathrooms. Particularly, the girls bathroom. " The ******** is he doing, " Jasper grumbled, scowling and moving to the bathroom door, regardless of anybody else standing outside. " Hate to break it to ya, sweetheart, but you've got one too many Y chromosomes for this bathroom. Get your a** out. " ...What the hell was that other noise? It sounded like hooves, but unless he was going insane, there was no way that could be right. Shifting the bag of clothes under one arm he banged on the door again. " Or I'll drag you out. Your choice, kid. I've had enough bullshit for one day. "

Here she was minding her own business, and suddenly reality decides to bite into her flesh like a pesky mosquito perpetually clinging steadfast to the desperate equine. Not matter which direction the woman directed her thoughts reality was always there cornering her like a feral animal seeking nothing but dinner and despite any effort to force the sensation into a hasty retreat it always managed to trip her at less than desirable intervals. Today failed to deviate from that standing record; s**t was hitting the fan in every direction, and if it wasn’t something dire it was something annoying like the fact that countless people were making snide comments about the adult who allowed a child to flee with truck keys in tow. She’d been frightened by something within the coffee shop and within the current timeframe allowing the young girl to seek the safety of the Chevrolet seemed the logical choice, but of course someone always had input upon any move someone made. It was a damn shame they couldn’t at least attempt to keep their voices below a shout, but with a dismissive roll of her chocolate eyes the woman plucked the fallen equine from the floor where the brat had tossed her. She took a moment to gaze at the disheveled figurine and much to her amazement something, or perhaps even someone exactly like her stared back at her. “Oh yeah it’s totally possible that there’s some little cursed soul trapped in this little plastic horse. Have you sighted any flying pigs lately Chihiro?” Mentally chastising herself the woman stuffed the plastic creature into the pocket of her jacket with a faint sigh of annoyance and before she could even make a dash for the door something else happened. Blood smothered her senses, nearly bringing the already tense woman to retch at the staggering scent of iron assaulting her senses in a way far beyond legal and after spending a painstaking moment attempting to seek out the source Chihiro deducted that the burnt man was the bleeding one. How joyous, maybe he sought to paint the coffee house a brilliant crimson and if so the brunette would be fleeing from the nearest window within the next two seconds, depending on how thick the glass panel was. She’d heal as soon as the glass departed from her pelt, which was great if the glass obeyed the rules the zodiac wanted to play by and a total pain if the glass shards opted to hang out in Chihiro’s flesh. Parting from the idle train of thoughts Chihiro strode to the man’s side with a confidence unparalleled by fellow patrons for the moment, and with years of dealing with these types of situations the brunette would easily be able to calm the bustling crowd gathered around the bleeding guy.

For now pretty boy was going to be George, whether he liked it or not the horse didn’t care to acknowledge for the time being. She’d deal with his manly tantrum later if the situation demanded, but for now she was more concerned about healing that nasty wound hidden beneath several layers of sodden fabric and as she slid her hand beneath the material the horse struggled to maintain her cool composure. She was pretty much publicly assaulting poor George and there was little doubt in her mind that with the snap of several smart phones the school would be lively with rumors of the woman’s sudden tendencies to grope complete strangers. She’d never be able to hear the term ***** again without associating herself with that field of misfits, and knowing the uppity class littering the ranks of the Student Council she’d probably lose her seat or at the very least be forced to respectfully resign. Respectfully resign was about like being impeached from the presidential office, though there was quite a few less protesters chasing at your heels when one was only on a low level of school government. Thank the heavens she hadn’t been elected to be the president, the scandals tacked to her name would be forever unending if her classmates had anything to say about it and even know her phone hummed with forward messages from said crowd. It was the same smut everyday so Chihiro wasn’t quite worried about the information harbored within the message, but the amount of blood the man had lost did concern her until the satisfaction of a healed wound signaled the woman to halt her ***** assault upon the man. The coarse touch of a paper napkin tore at the woman’s flesh as sandpaper would have and several elongated minutes of scrubbing at the crimson liquid gathered on her palm Chihiro drew back, satisfied with the results of her efforts to cleanse the crimson painted palm. Best not to look any guiltier than she had when she’d bluntly forced her healing powers upon the dying man.

It was highly unlikely that anyone would enjoy coffee with the ghost of George hovering over their shoulder, well there were those freaky few who got off on that type of thing and Chihiro wasn’t one of those people. Ghosts were disturbing mirages, though the same could probably be said for the zodiac lurking just beneath her human skin and despite not quite believing in the Netherworld creatures the curse disapproved her doubts. If you turned into a horse anytime someone of the opposite gender embraced you, anything was possible and not to mention the fact that stress could demand such a change. So maybe ghosts were real after all, who knew? Distracted from the logical debate by a voice all too familiar Chihiro soon found herself being embraced for the first time in – well a while, and as the strange colored cloud of smoke provided the flighty animal a window of opportunity a chorus of curses resounded in her mind. Of all days for this type of thing to happen it just had to be a day when she had Brooklyn and worse yet there wasn’t any decent place for a horse to make an escape! Give a horse a break and make a larger door! What if, what if someone had a disability horse and they couldn’t get it through the door? Then they’d see the need for suitable escape routes for alternate species! Damn those normal people for not being more considerate of an animal’s feelings! Having to maintain balance upon the unfamiliar terrain and dodge through the startled crowd cloaked by the smoke was a challenge to say the least, but as the sign declaring a restroom came into view the horse slowed to a lope cautiously taking in the environment just in case anyone tried to ambush the mythical being. It wasn’t often that a zodiac showed up in the local Starbucks and then had the audacity to confront a brewing crowd in order to save a single person. That man, what was so special about him? The familiar scent drifting through the café was stronger around George and it almost seemed to demand that the horse remain at his side regardless of her change in form. What was he and why was he drawing the attention of a zodiac? The questions stirred in her mind as she darted into the restroom with a clatter of hooves and as the door shut behind her the horse began to pace around the small space. How was she going to get out of this one?

The restroom shelter idea seemed logical enough; safe from any men, thwarting any attempts at a storm of people wanting to inspect the situation, and completely devoid of life. Or so she’d thought. The creak of the bathroom made the horse tense and with senses alert the equine whirled to face the intruder with a warning stomp of her hoof that echoed through the bathroom. Iron rung true upon the tile floor as the mare continued to signal the discomfort derived from the man’s presence and tossing her muzzle into the air with a rumbling snort the horse nearly made true on those warnings until his words reached her ears. Whoa? Did she look like some kind of lead pony to him? Giving a snap of her teeth Chihiro gave a shake of her mane as if trying to rid herself of the insult and after recomposing herself the horse spoke as the cursed could in their alternate forms. “The command won’t get you far with an illegitimate horse, and to be rather frank that’s just an insult as opposed to a command.” The sudden movement of the nearby faucet sent the mare sidestepping away from the machinery the first time around, though as the man continued to display the niche the female’s muscles simply quivered with amazement. Here was this man who was dying only moments ago, declaring himself to be her leader, and top of all that he could perform tricks with his mind which certainly wasn’t normal in any sense. Playing of his gratitude with an idle stare the chocolate mare contained the scrambled thoughts concerning the foreign occurrence, but the echo of nearby footsteps caused the horse’s ears to swivel forward in silent salute to the presence. However, the nearness of a palm detracted from the focus upon the second intruder and at his comment of being bitten the woman mentally laughed. Hadn’t he heard her declare she was unable to harm him only moments prior? An abrupt rap upon the door made Chihiro tense, countless thoughts of government agents storming into the small space to quarantine the supernatural being and as the voice of barista drifted through the door chocolate eyes fell upon the self declared leader. “What now?” This should be good.

Spencer looked around at the group of people gathered inside of the Starbucks, and a strange notion struck him. He was certain he had never seen any of these people before in his life, and yet, somehow, they all seemed at least vaguely familiar. He tried his best to brush away the notion, knowing in his rational mind, it must be something he was imagining. The scene inside was quite odd though, but Spencer restrained himself as best he could. He knew what it was like when he took over. The worst possible scenario for the blonde ox would be for him to take over, especially in a place as crowded as this Starbucks was, and given the sheer population and excitement, there was a very good chance that he would rear his ugly head. It was at this moment Spencer surveyed the area for the quickest safest path toward the door. He was going to need to make a clean break, and be certain that he didn't happen to even accidentally bump into another person. That kind of contact would have one of two possible horrific outcomes; either he would show up, or, worse yet, a puff of smoke would reveal his secret.

That was all the convincing Spencer needed to make his hasty escape. As he rose from his table, though, something caught his eye. There was a large plume of smoke across the room, and emerging from it, he was almost certain he saw something. 'Was that....No, it couldn't be... Get your head together Spence, there is no way a horse magically appeared in a Starbucks in New York City... HE must be playing tricks on me, trying to find a way out.... I've got to get out of here, sooner rather than later...' he thought to himself as he confirmed his path. Careful to avoid any unwanted contact with the various other patrons, The blonde made his way quickly and carefully toward the front door. Pushing it open and stepping outside ito the chilly air and pouring rain, he heaved a sigh of relief. "This rain might be a bit miserable, but it sure beats the alternative. I win this round, Spazz," he muttered quietly to himself, a calm smile forming over his lips.

There was really only one thing for Spencer to do, and that was make his way to work. Given the excitement from inside the Starbucks, though, He wasn't exactly sure it was the best thing for him to do. True enough, he was usually sitting around, bored, at work, but given the weather and previous excitement, he didn't want to give Spazz a chance to interfere in his life. When everything was calm, it was difficult enough control himself with a difficult guest, but in an already slightly agitated state, there would be no way for him to suppress his alter ego. He decided that the wiser course of action would be for him to call in today. Pulling out his phone, he dialed his boss's cell. It rang until he heard the monotone voice of the voicemail message. Rolling his eyes, but glad that he didn't have to actually talk to the boss, he cleared his throat, prepping his "sick voice." In a hoarse raspy tone he said, "Hey boss, it's Spencer... I'm not going to be able to make it in today... I've got a really bad bug. Hopefully I'll be feeling better tomorrow. See you then." Ending the call, he slipped the phone into his pocket. He wasn't sure what he was going to do with the day, but for now, he was savoring the rain and the solitude the weather outside provided.

Even with the two of them saying they were okay, the pretty boy didn't seem to look so well. He tilted his head, about to approach him when a blonde girl came running towards him. Blood. There was blood all over him, in the spot where the stain was. "Oh my God..." He said, frantically trying to take his phone out and call the police. His fingers started shaking as he tried to dial the numbers, when he noticed another girl help him, saying he was fine.

Lance ran over to them. He had to help and do something. Even if the girl was saying he was fine, the ambulance was still needed. No way he could be fine. He tried again to dial the number when he heard the guy speak. Lance instantly looked up at him. Did he just say...? No way, he was hearing things. Then the blonde girl confirmed what he had heard. "I-Impossible." he whispered to himself.

Lance stepped back, when a group of guys came in and suddenly, smoke filled the room. He felt like he was on some prank reality tv show, but in the end, this was all because of a stupid coffee spill. None of this would've happened if he didn't walk into the damn coffee shop. Lance started panicking, attempting at breathing slow but that just made him suck in the smoke. He couldn't stop it, and he knew he had to get away, no matter how much he wanted to make sure that guy was okay.

As fast as he can while the smoke was still there, Lance found his way to the counter and hoped over it, ducking. He hugged his knees close to his chest, head down low away from the smoke and started counting slowly. "One...Two.." It wasn't working. He knew it was going to happen, and he was stuck in here. The male started crying, and before he knew it...

The monkey stood up, too short to be seen over the counter. His pants were on the ground, and his shirt and jacket were still on him, completely over sized. He looked around as he noticed the smoke was clearing up, trying to figure out where he should go. Quickly, he slid off his clothes and glasses, held onto them, and opened up a little cabinet bellow the counter. Inside were a bunch of stacked cups, utensils, things they wouldn't need until they ran out. He moved them out of the cabinet and crawled in, closing it and sitting inside. The cabinet had more than enough room for a monkey. However, if he was still stuck in there when he turned back, he would just fit. Putting his clothes back on wouldn't be an easy task.

The little monkey could hear the commotion going on outside. He pulled his legs close to him, and covered his ears to try and drown them out. This was all his fault. To make things worse, he changed. He was stuck there for who knew how long. Until closing time, until they caught him. He was scared of what was going to happen to the guy he hurt. His blood is all on his hands. He was an animal inside and out, and at this moment, he wished he was found and taken to some zoo. At least there he wouldn't have to hurt anyone.

WHAT WAS GOING ON?

text TEXTThe Dragon sat there in awe.. as the "beautiful" boy was on the verge of dying. Then he was fine.. and then there was almost a fight.. and WHAT a horse. "REALLY!!" Talen said annoyed beyond believe. "You know what I don't even care... " Though in fact the boy did care.. he cared a lot. All of this commotion, how could anyone notice how cute he was. "and why is he all of a sudden better... I told you he was FAKING IT.. " "Hey.. where did the boy who spilt the coffee go?" Talen screamed over the commotion. "UGGGGG!!!!" The teen tried to sit there.. he really did.. however his feels would not let him. "I can make a mess too!!!" he thought throwing his cup on the ground. Grabbing several of the books the dragon began pulling the pages from the old book and throwing them about.

text TEXTStill.. no one even payed him the first blink of attention. "UGGG... " He could feel his skin begin warming up and even as he grew angry the boy grew surprisingly sincerely upset. "THIS PLACE IS LAME ANYWAYS!!!" he once again yelled. The young boy jumped out of his chair and threw it to the ground. Taking up a march only typical to a tantrum he marched his way outside. Sitting done on the side walk the boy began to start crying. All he wanted to do was to be important too... was that too much to ask for. To be loved.. and wanted - - as number one... ALWAYS

text TEXTThe wind and rain blew down on the teen as he sat there on the curb. However as he sat there and the temperature of his skin increased; steam started to form. Only it looked as if it was generating from his body. "Why did everyone look at him.. My outfit was better... " he complained leaning his head on his hands. Which his arms were rested on his knees. The only part of his body that was completely soaked was his feet, only because they sat in a puddle.. which was now boiling. "NO ONE LIKES ME... and I haven't done anything... I walked in there just like them... and why was there a horse there... HE FAKED BEING SICK... how lame is that... " Talen suddenly had an idea, and as he did the boy let his body fall to the side. Starting to moan as loud as he could, the teen started "Attempting" to act sick. "I feel .. horrible... but I'm really cute.. people should help me.. I might die... " Talen let out grabbing his hands to his stomach. " I SAID I MIGHT DIE!!! " Even as he screamed at the strangers passing buy the randomly boy that smoke was coming off of.. on the curb did not attract any attention.

" THE WORLD HATES ME.... " he complained laying there on the dirty sidewalk. No one even cared...

» xx » xx »xxxxxxKillian just chuckled. "Could be worse, we could be living in Jersey." He winked before grinning almost child-like. Hearing Jasper's reference to Happy Hour made Killian chuckle softly. "Oh, I've seen a thing or two. But like I said, when people spill all over themselves and others in a drunken stupor, at least their drinks aren't hot."

"Well, at least you'll blend in." It was true, Jasper may have been splattered in coffee, but this was a coffee shop, the whole place smelt like the stuff so it wasn't like anyone was going to know. Killian arched a brow when Jasper made a reference to the scene that was unfurling before them. "Crazier things have happened, besides, maybe it will just be a random act of insanity and then the rest of the week will be boring in comparison." When the kid that had spilled the coffee on the two men made his presence known again, in a rather panicked away, Killian just shook his head. "Don't worry about him, kid, tough as nails. Besides, no use crying over spilled milk... or... coffee... I guess... in this case..." He cleared his throat awkwardly. Killian wasn't much for puns or jokes. Sure, he had a sense of humor, in this day and age you had to, but when it came to making them, he wasn't really a comedian. But hell, most people either laugh at his bad jokes, or his awkwardness, at least they laughed.

The moment someone called out for an ambulance, Killian looked over to the scene. A pretty blonde was trying to get the raven haired kid on the ground, get him in a more comfortable position and trying to help him all at once. And then, it was like chaos exploded in the room. And I thought s**t was crazy before. He thought dryly. First there was a blonde girl trying to help, then a brunette that claimed to know the guy, then she was touching his chest. What the hell was going on? Enter boisterous group of kids stage left. Rising, arguing, teasing. Damn teenagers. Then, then above all else there was a puff of smoke and Killian felt like his heart stopped. It's.... It's not possible...

That's the same thing that happened when... Well. When Killian changed. Moving close behind Jasper, he watched as the man gathered up the clothes quickly, his blue eyes taking in every detail as he watched the other disappear into the back with the clothes. Suspicion taking over his entire thought-process, Killian mapped out everywhere Jasper fleeted to before following him towards the women's restroom. Killian walked up behind the barista just as he was banging on the door. "Hey dude, why did you grab up those clothes?" Crossing his arms and leaning up against the wall, his blue eyes reading Jasper as if he was a book. "What do you know about the smoke?"

» xx » xx »xxxxxxEmily was trying her best to get the ravenhead stable. It wasn't easy though. "Hey, hey, it's okay. Help is coming and you're going to be okay. I just need you to keep your eyes open." But he wasn't. He was fading, fast. And it wasn't something that Emily could help. She felt... Useless, actually. But then, there was a woman there, all but ignoring Emily entirely and pushing her away from the scene. "Hey! He's in serious condition and he doesn't need you shoving your disease, germ covered hands all over his open wound, get your hands off of him!" Honestly, yelling wasn't something Emily did on a regular basis. But this was serious, and there wasn't time to deal with any bullshit.

But from what she could tell, the boy was getting better. Which honestly, made Emily feel even more useless. And then, a domino effect went off. Teens entered, harsh words were said, and poof. Smoke. Emily's eyes went wide when the girl was gone and the sound of hooves, panicked hooves filled the Starbucks with a new set of chaos. People were coughing from the smoke and the ravenette was up on his feet, the boy that touched the girl had a possibly broken nose and Emily was getting drug to the bathrooms.

She was told to stand guard. Panic set it. "What?! No! There's a horse! No... No Emily there isn't a horse. Why would there be a horse in a Starbucks? That's just crazy.... I... I gotta go." And she ran, away from the bathrooms, away from the chaos and back to the table that she had been sharing with the ravenette to start gathering her things. And just when she thought she could escape, more chaos erupted. A boy was screaming, yelling, and throwing a temper tantrum like a child. She watched, practically in horror, as he tore apart a book. Frowning and watching in storm out, she went over and started gathering up the ripped out paged and grabbing the hard cover of the book, putting them neatly back inside the best she could before leaving the coffee shop. She thought the boy had run off, but when she found him outside she chewed at her lip a bit nervously before approaching.

Holding the book out, she looked down at him. "Hey... You left your book." She looked down at the cover that was in her hand before pausing, looking at the boy. "What are the zodiac?" She had never heard of them before. Well, she sort of had. The western zodiac. Virgo, Cancer, Sagittarius, that sort of thing. But this book had animals etched into the cover. Since when did the zodiac have animals?

Spencer had often been quiet comfortable in being alone, but this solitude was to be short lived. A cute younger boy emerged from the Starbucks looking quite distraught. He could hear the boy's pleas for attention, though passersby seemed to give him no notice. The ox's nurturing nature was pulling at him to talk to the boy, to comfort him, and, finally surrendering, he started walking over. He stopped short when a blonde girl emerged from the Starbucks, approaching the boy with what appeared to be the remnants of some book in her arms. 'She must be his girlfriend... I should probably leave them alone.... but still... They really shouldn't be sitting out in the rain...' he thought to himself as he weighed his next course of action. Swallowing his nerves he walked up to the pair. Clearing his throat, he attempted to gain their attention before he spoke.

The boy, his ebony hair hanging limp and wet, a steam rising from his body, was almost unbearably cute. Spencer worked to push those thoughts out of his head though. 'Come on Spence... Get your head together... Normal guys don't think like that..' he thought as he tried to clear his thoughts. Standing directly behind the pair, in a warm and friendly tone, the ox said, "Hey, are you two alright? You know, you really shouldn't be sitting out in the rain. You're going to end up getting sick. If you two don't have anywhere else to go, my place isn't far from here... We could get you both dried off and warmed up." It wasn't until he had finished speaking that he realized he must look like some kind of creeper or *****. Of course, if he announced that he wasn't some kind of sicko, it would only make him look even more like a sicko. "Nice one, Spence... Maybe next time you should offer the kids candy and pony rides before you invite them into your windowless van...' he thought, mentally kicking himself in the a**.

The rain showed no signs of slowing, and Spencer was beginning to feel a maternal need to take care of the pair siting outside in the rain. The boy had already brought out that urge in Spencer's mind, but now they needed protection as well as support. Why he was willing to go so far for complete strangers was still a mystery, but somehow, Spencer felt like he could trust them. A general rule in the city was to trust nobody, but they both seemed so familiar, he felt almost comfortable with them. 'Oh sweet zombie Jesus... I'm starting to even THINK like a predator... God help me if Chris Hansen is hiding in my apartment...' he thought to himself.

Text TEXT *SNAP* Gabriel flinched as he pulled his hand back. Okay, well he deserved that, he guessed. Though after he spoke with to the Horse all he got back were whinnies, nicker and was that a snort? The teen crossed his arms as he rolled his eyes. However something was different unlike other Horses, Gabriel actually understood what she was saying. “The command won’t get you far with an illegitimate horse, and to be rather frank that’s just an insult as opposed to a command.” Gabriel glared back at the horse, shaking his head. "Is this any time to argue and be stubborn.. " he thought. He should have studied more about the Zodiac - - Sebastian was right. There personalities were just as those of the Zodiac and not only that but it was amplified. "How did.. Sebastian.. " he thought trying to force that thought aside as he looked at the Horse.

Text TEXT He knew he could force her to do something.. to do anything. Though on the bad side after they got out of the situation the Horse would totally not trust him anymore. Gabriel had just decided never to use that power, even in the worst of situations. Maybe that didn't even know about it. He did not want to compromise his trust. " Hate to break it to ya, sweetheart, but you've got one too many Y chromosomes for this bathroom. Get your a** out. " Gabriel turned around staring at the closed door, a voice shouting from the other side. " Or I'll drag you out. Your choice, kid. I've had enough bullshit for one day. " Gabriel ran his hand threw his hair trying to figure out what he should do. "Can this day really get any worse... " he thought just as the Horse protested again. “What now?” Gabriel just shifted his eyes giving a dull look at the horse than back at the door.

Text TEXT The teen tipp-toed towards the door peeking out it slowly. His dark eyes looking up at the male, smiling innocently. "I'm sorry but I really had to go.. " he tried to come with an excuse. Though as another male walked up to the scene Gabriel just let out a sigh letting his hand fall against the frame of the door. He could see everyone outside still in chaos trying to figure out what was going on. They needed to get out of there... police and cameras were probably on their way. There was no way at least one ambulance hadn't been called. Something suddenly clicked inside of the small boy's mind as the other asked his question. "What do you know about the smoke?"

Text TEXT Quickly without any hesitation the boy swung open the bathroom door, only to grab both other by the wrist pulling them inside. Leaning against the door the boy slammed it shut once more - - this time locking it. Taking a deep breath before he started to speak again. "I'm sorry, but I... " He started but stopped for a second. He didn't realize how young he was compared to the others. Even as it were by only a few years .. how was he suppoce to be the leader. "I'm cursed too.. She is cures just like you two. I don't know how I know, but I can just feel it. Your the boar and your the tiger." he said looking back and forth between the two. "Im not cursed with an animal.. I'm the leader." the boy said softly. "I can tell you more later... and you can be upset I didn't find you sooner... but we need to help the Horse. Who knows how many people saw, not to mention ambulances and or police.. news crews. " Horse in Starbucks in the middle of New York would.. make a great story. "If you don't calm down we won't be able to get out of here... " Gabriel said turning back towards the horse. The teen was running out ideas.. and unless there was another way out of Starbucks with a bigger door; the group didn't have any other options. Gabriel hopped on the sink counter, placing his hands on his head trying to think of another option.. time was running out.

text TEXTThe crying boy looked up as he heard a girls voice. Tears were still falling down his face, as steam fumed off of his body. "Thanks.. " Talen said sniffling as he grabbed the damaged book, letting it fall to his lap. "What are the zodiac?" Talen wiped his face from his sleeves as he sniffled, gathering up enough breath. "They are cursed.. " he said softly still crying. "There are thirteen of them.. but only twelve of them are part of the actually twelve year cycle. .. but now they have to be locked up the rest of their lives.. its really not fair.. " Talen started crying even more than. His heart was completely broken, even a book was way more important than him.

text TEXTAs the sky started to shake violently with sound the boy kept his spot in the curb. "I don't want to go back home... " he thought as he sat there. A car drove, and in turning around the corner splashed a big puddle on the boy. This was his life... why did he have to be on the bottom. He never felt like he was... and he never wanted to be. The boy slowly inch by inch scooted his tiny butt over to the feet of the blonde headed girl. " I -... ."
he managed to say before he leached out and hugged her legs, crying even more. Tiny mumbles were attempting to from words but nothing was actually said. Things could be worse.. being that if he hadn't been cursed to the girl would have changed into a lamb.

text TEXTTalen was crying and holding on to the strangers legs as the other approached. "Hey, are you two alright?" The teen on the ground stared up at the other, though threw his blurry vision Talen could hardly make out the figure. "No.. Everything is not all right... Its raining.. and I look a mess... and even if I looked one hundred percent it still wouldn't be enough... I am freaking amazing.. and no one notices... they just notice other people.. and books... and !#&%)#&" The boy complained crying even more. His feels getting the best of him, the teen threw the book into the road as a car passed. The book smacking against the vehicle, then falling onto the ground completely ruined now.. Gabriel however just let his head fall onto his lap.

text TEXTA few feet past the group the car came to a halt and as it did a man jumped out of the car. The mid-twenty year old was yelling and cursing at the boy only approaching faster. Suddenly Talen was grabbed by another man, the crying teen just blankly stared at the other as he waas being yelled at. "Why do you hate me too... " he said still crying as his feet dangeled in the air. The man kept yelling as he pulled back and slammed his fist right in the boy's face, only to drop him and leave. Talen flinched back as he scrambled across the ground. The temperature beneath his skin only raising as his pain got worse. The steam caused by the cold water falling onto the boy only increased as Talen started crying more. "He hit me.. because I'm ugly... " Talen curled into a ball of protection on the dirty streets of New York.

text TEXTThe world did hate him, it was because he was ugly. Maybe that's why his mother kept him locked inside. It wasn't the curse it was him. His crying moans only began to get slightly louder. Opening his eyes the boy saw his reflection in a puddle. "I'm not ugly.." he said softly. "I don't want to be ugly.." The boy wrestle around throwing his coat off of himself, only left in his soaked t-shirt and short shorts. His phone was probably ruined now and life could only get worse.. or that is how he felt. As he threw his jacket in the street the boy laid curled on the sidewalk, crying almost falling asleep.

Frowning, she let her eyes move to look at his face instead, "Well, that's not fair at all. But animals are strong, right? I'm sure that if they wanted to, they could be free." She tried to smile, she could tell that the entire story was upsetting him even more and she didn't want him to start crying again. She wanted to see him smile, which was hard to do when it was raining and his tears were just mixing in with the rain anyways.

Emily let out a squeak when the car drove past and splashed the boy, some of the puddle water getting on her legs, too. And soon, the poor, distraught boy was clinging onto her legs and crying. She frowned softly and slowly made her way down onto her knees on the sidewalk and held the boy tight, stroking his damp hair and trying to calm him down, whispering comforting, soft things. She just about jumped when she heard a voice behind her and craned her neck to look at the source of the sound. She stayed quiet as the dark haired boy spoke up, talking about all the things that were bothering him.

Just when she thought that the boy was going to start to calm down, or at least cry himself out, a car came to a screeching halt, mostly because the brakes on the vehicle were probably wet from all the rain. A man that she didn't know grabbed onto the dark haired boy and ripped him out of her arms, hitting him and throwing him to the ground. She screamed at the man and hurried over to the boy as soon as the stranger was gone. She looked up at the blonde boy. "We should get him out of here, we can take my car. Help me out." She didn't know why she was putting such blind faith into a complete stranger, or why she was being so caring to someone that she didn't know. But she felt obligated to. She couldn't just leave them. and besides, some things were more important that going to school anyways, right?

She tried to get the brunette to his feet, at least before passing him off to the blonde and hurrying over to her car to unlock it and get it started so it would warm up and they wouldn't be left shivering in the cold air of the car. Closing the driver door, she hurried around to the other side and opened the back door, helping the blonde get the brunette into the backseat before returning to the driver side and opening her door. She looked at the blonde, "You said you live close right? Well, get in." With that, she climbed into her car and closed the door, waiting for the blonde to get in the passenger seat before she drove off.

Spencer didn't fully understand why the boy was so upset. From what he could gather, the younger boy was craving attention that he just wasn't receiving. Spencer knew a thing or two about not getting attention, given the fact that he left home in his teens and never saw either his mother or father again after that. He was, for ll intents and purposes, a street rat. He was lucky enough to have a friend that was willing to take him in, but he never truly craved attention, knowing that it wasn't likely that he was ever going to receive it. When the raven haired teen threw his book at a passing car, Spencer's heart skipped a beat or two as the driver stopped the car. When the driver got out and grabbed hold of the younger boy, Spencer stayed quiet and clenched his fists. He had been trying so hard. but as soon as the driver his the boy, Spazz took over. He didn't have time to accost the driver, but the blonde's typically warm and polite nature was replaced by a more masculine and aggressive one.

Looking from the girl to the boy, laying on the ground, Spazz grit his teeth in anger and disgust. He watched the girl bring the boy to his feet, and at her cue, he grabbed the boy, slinging him over his shoulder as he followed the girl to her car. As she held the door open, he laid the boy in the back seat before walking around the vehicle and sliding into the passenger seat. "Turn left up here and go down three blocks. There's a parking garage in the basement. I have an assigned parking spot, but I don't drive, so you can park there, got it, sweet cheeks?" he said, to the blonde behind the wheel. a slight cocky smirk crossed his lips as he stared out the windshield at the rain. 'Try all you want, Spency~Wency... The more you fight, the more fun it is when I get my way...' he thought, smugly, to himself.

Riding in the car, Spazz was mostly quiet, but his cocky, alpha-male attitude was almost palpable. Turning to look at the kid in the backseat, then to the driver he asked, "So, what's the deal with you and the kid? He your boyfriend or something?" he asked, not caring if he was prying into something private. Spaz didn't know hoe long it was going to be before Spencer regained control, but if he could cause a little havoc, so much the better. There was an ever larger amount of mischief he could cause once they got to the apartment, but for now, he was going to relish the fact that prissy little Spencer managed to lose the reigns.

» xx » xx »xxxxxxEmily looked over at the blonde when he got in to her car before nodding and pulling away from the curb. She listened to his directions, looking in the rear view mirror at the unconscious, sopping wet boy in her back seat. She was so screwed. If this wasn't the closest thing she has ever done to kidnapping, she didn't know what was. But she had to do something, only cowards would just watch. Which was what any passerby on that street was. "Thank you, again, for offering a place to take him." She looked over at the blonde, her blue eyes gentle, forgiving, kind.

She didn't know this kid, so it wasn't like she took a particular notice to his change in demeanor. Then again, her mind was also fleeting around with worried thoughts about the brunette in her back seat. Hell, she didn't even know if he was going to be okay. After a long silent pause, and after she had taken the left turn, she started on the right street towards the blonde's home. That's when he spoke up. The sound cut through the awkward silence like a knife and it almost made Emily jump from the sudden sound. She glanced over at him before shaking her head. "No, actually. I have no idea who he is. I don't even know his name." She laughed softly, the stress of the entire situation finally settling in to her uneasy mind. "Or yours, either, actually."

She leaned back against the headrest of her seat and sighed, speaking mostly to herself, btu loud enough to be heard. "Good job, Emily, just let two complete strangers in your car, one of which is unconscious, after seeing what looked like a horse in the middle of Starbucks. They'll lock you up for sure this time." She let out a sigh and pulled into the parking garage, finding the designated spot and parking her car, killing the engine before she leaned forward and put her forehead on the steering wheel, trying to organize her thoughts, her blue eyes closed.

She opened her eyes after a moment and realized that this wasn't just another one of her dreams. Sitting up, she looked over at the blonde again and sighed, "Shall we then?" Unhooking her seat belt, she opened her door and climbed out, leaning back into the car to grab her keys out of the ignition before closing her door again and moving around to the passenger side to open the door and help the blonde get the dripping wet teen out of her backseat. She felt like someone from one of those mob movies suddenly, and the guilt just continued to sink in. Someone was going to find them, someone had to be looking for this kid. And now, they were going to go to jail. Then they will hear about Emily's dreams and lock her away. Yep, she was definitely going to the nuthouse for this one.

After they retrieved the teen from her car, she closed the door and hit the lock button before letting the blonde lead the way up to his apartment. Hell, she didn't know either of them, open of them could easily be a psychopath, some serial murderer that was going to chop them up into tiny little bits and feed them to a bunch of hogs out in the country somewhere. She was going to be pig food and she didn't even know if there was a way she could stop it. Swallowing, Emily tried to calm herself down. Not everyone in the city was a bunch of foaming, raving, crazed psychopaths.... Right?

I traveled the vast seas, rose my head among the mountains in the distance that we used to look toward,
and met an old tree who allowed me to pass through his ancient forest.
It was all a fairy tale, a dream. I wish I could go back and do it again.

                        ______________ ( THExx R A B B IT )

                                                    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Once again. Alexandria was alone. It happened so suddenly that Talen had left the table assisting someone, to then freaking out and leaving her. His books were left behind, one ripped from his wrath being far too unleashed. She sat there hoping that she wouldn't be blamed on the tear in the book, but then she remembered she didnt' rent them out. Once upon a time, she did, but this time it wasn't her responsibility. Maybe she should wait for Talen to come back, but then again she was unsure if she should.. it seemed unsafe since animals were throwing rampage around the place, like a horse appearing out of nowhere to men going in the women's room. She didn't feel so safe here, and didn't have any money to order anything to eat, so she was sitting and minding her own business until Talen came back. If he didn't come back, she'd repair the books at her dorm and return them for him so he didn't get in trouble, both because of damage and lateness.

She began to look at the books in boredom, the zodiacal books describing every animal categorized by year. She began to read the descriptive details of the book, shaking her head to the passage.

'The rabbit is one of the most delicate animals among all 12 animals. Rabbits are usually kind and sweet and of course, popular people. Nobody ignores them, for they are good company and know how to make the best of themselves.'

'Untrue,' she thought to herself. 'I'm popular maybe amongst the rabbits in the forest, not people of the city.. and I'm always ignored, I'm practically a ghost.' Alexandria continued to read about how they stay in style, which was true in her case. She was compatible to the Pig, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, Sheep, Snake, Monkey.. it was going down in order by rating numbers, but it wasn't her interest. She remembered it went by years, not by months like other zodiacs do. Looking around, she wondered if anyone older was around, or younger. What year was Talen, what animal? It was to her interest he best not be compatible to her relationship wise, he was more a friend type than dating material. Giggling, she noticed it was loud and the shop had grown quiet to a murmur, and she stopped herself and moved to the back of the shop with the books in a booth where hopefully, no one would notice her vibrant hair in the shop to pinpoint her out.
