Kaylee was still in the main room of the shelter. A sad look came to her face not really sure if she wanted to go and see what the others had gotten her or just go to bed. Sure it was still early but she didn't feel like dealing with everyone at the moment. Deciding to just go up stairs, she needed to put her school stuff away anyway. Maybe she will come back down and see what the other children got her or she might just say that she wasn't feel well and turn in for the night. Making her assent up the stairs she walked to the farthest room on the third floor which was her room. Removing her thin jacket and her back pack she looked at the red dress that was laying on her bed, it was the only nice thing she had and it was to be worn tomorrow to see if anyone would decide to adopt her. Already she had the feeling that no one would. Seeing as none have in the past. A sigh past the young blondes lips she figured that it was be a good idea to see what the others had gotten her for a present. Having a good idea that they would most likely come in and bother her if she didn't go down.

Walking down the hall to the stairs she came across one of the helpers, someone she thought of as a friend sort of, Mr. Sullivan Brown. A sweet smile came across the girls face, ”Hello, Mr. Brown.” She began looking at him. He was a nice man, always seemed to go out of his way to help the other children. She liked that about him as well, ”I thought you would be done for the night, what brings you here now?” She questioned not really sure why he was here still seeing as Sister Mary had just locked the doors when she arrived, or was he not planing on going home? Did he have a home? She only wondered this because she would always see him around the grounds doing a whole lot or random odd jobs for the sisters or for anyone who asked for help to be honest.

In the South Land there's a city way down on the river where the women are very pretty and all the men deliver they got music it's always playin' start in the day time, go all through the night

Lily was in the kitchen of her restaurant, Heart of New Orleans. This place was her dream. It was now a reality though and that made her extremely happy. She was married, too. Happily she'd say. Her husband, Ethan, was at first an annoyance. She was 17 when they met, but he kept pursuing her. Finally Lily decided to date him, and that was six years ago. Coming out of the kitchen she saw Badou and his friend, Ryan. She gave them a friendly wave.

Walking around the restaurant, Lily helped out people who needed it. Getting drinks...Taking orders. Heart of New Orleans was popular it seemed. She loved that fact. The recipes she had were her mamas. She missed her mama dearly. She lived with her grandmother for about a year and then moved out on her own. She started working at other restaurants and whatnot to gain experience. She sure got experience for that.

Lily did miss New Orleans a lot. However, her life was here now and that was just how it was. She was going to visit New Orleans again some day, but just not now. For now, she'd just enjoy this town here. It was a quaint town where everyone knew everyone. Lily did like that feeling. It was nice to know everyone.

When you hear that music playin' hear what I'm saying, it make you feel alright grab somebody, come on down bring your paintbrush, we're paintin' the town honey, there's some sweetness goin' 'round catch it down in New Orleans

Ethan, the young and former carefree man, was 'slaving' over hot pots of food, in the restaurant that he his lovely wife Lillie owned together. To someone at first glance the relationship between might seem a little strange, seeing as there was a bit of an age gap when they met and he was persistent to be with her. Not that he was planing on doing anything wrong with her, he would never. To be honest when he found out that she was seventeen when they met it was a bit of a shock to him seeing as he thought that she was a few years older. But he went of it anyway namely because the knew that she was the right person for him. She of course didn't go for it at first but later, he would like to think that his charm got to her, she agreed. The two of them then left New Orleans which was a bit of a drastic for her but they managed to get by alright. They had the restaurant and each other, that was more than what some people got. He looked over into the main part of the restaurant for a few seconds as Lillie wondered out, most likely to see how the guest were enjoying the food. He enjoyed hearing their praises.

Mason checked everywhere on his uniform to check for any bleach stains and so far there were none. At least that's good, he didn't feel like changing into his extra one just because he got bleach in his original. After Gabe apologized, he suddenly turned around and walked away. Poor boy. Whatever was eating at him, it was bad. The older male wanted to go over and comfort the boy, but didn't know the words to say. After Mason was done cleaning tables and taking dirty dishware to the kitchen, he stopped by a few tables to refill a few drinks, and help the customers pay.

Mason again, cleaned a few tables, put them in the kitchen, helped out the costumers find their tables, food, and drinks, etcetera. Something was bothering Gabriel and Mason wanted to find out was it was.
