Batman landed silently behind her and analyzed the area. "I have a feeling that's the place, but the problem is, if he is expecting Catwoman, why would he make it so hard for her to get to him?" He asked. "Or maybe...that's the secret to his resurrection." Terry spoke. Instead of answers there were more questions. He switched his cowl to detective mode and zoomed in on what looked like foot prints just barely visible. It was two sets which indicated to him that Holly was escorted, not bound and dragged. Joker had someone else working with him. Was it Harley?

She looked around herself if this area was so special to Joker why didn't he post guards out front? Maybe he's not worried about people getting into the building if they managed to shut off the breakers to the electric wall.

“Batman I don't like this there are no guards posted outside and its very quiet he's up to something, we need to stay alert until we can find some clues.” said Ruby as she scanned the area more, she then noticed a hole in the side of the wall with arrows pointing at it which made her raise an eye at it.

“If he doesn't want anyone inside why trick them?” asked Ruby to herself none of this made any sense to her.

Batman gazed at her. "The thing about the Joker is he is too arrogant and he will lead you into something thinking he has already won. This is most likely a trap, but every one of his traps has flaws that can be exploited. To him it's the thrill of knowing he has the upper hand. With him the punchline is always death." He spoke. "To beat the Joker you have to think like the Joker. The one he feels wronged him was Batman and he would do anything to get even. So what's the one sure fire way to get Batman to come? The answer, Catwoman." Terry finished.

I've fallen so far down that I can't pick myself off the ground, I must be loosing my mind.

By this point Nicky felt sore from her wound she had received even though stitched and repaired by the doctors they told her it would be sore for the next few days, she sat down somewhere not wanting to over do it and worry Terry since he was already worried about her enough as it is.

“I need to sit for a bit Batman, I don't think I got enough rest at the base I'll be okay in a while, your suit is like a super computer maybe you can figure out further what Joker's plans are going to be with Holly” said Nicky who was trying to look on the brighter side of things but even then she knew she wouldn't be able to help him in her current condition. She took out her canteen that was full of water, something she needed badly but the water had vitamins and minerals in it to keep her strength up, Nicky took a drink of the water and nearly downed the entire thing but remembered to save some for later then closed up the canteen and put it away.

“I'm sorry about earlier ..about the kiss, I wasn't in the right head space, after doing this for so long and being alone it really starts to eat at you. I'm glad you're here helping me even though you don't have to.” said Nicky as she smiled at him.

Joker realized it was quiet and was going to say some obscene joke about dead babies and root beer when he heard someone knock on the door. His lips went up into a grin, threatening to split his face. He had stayed near the door to let her in. He wasn't worried about Batman quite yet. He knew Catwoman would still be catburglar. Batman would still be...well a bat, but Catwoman would be the first to know of her roommate's disappearance. After he was finished with Catwoman, he'd leave. He didn't want Harley or the Batman finding him too early. He wasn't done setting up the new party. Catwoman was going to be part of his unwilling party crew.

Joker raised his hands in the air, giving off a grandeur appearance like he was the ringmaster in the circus. "Let her in, boys!" He said. The henchman in clown attire obliged and opened the door for Catwoman, revealing the still sensual woman. He'd figure after four years she'd have aged and withered some but from the looks of it she was as healthy and beautiful as ever. "Oh lookie there, the cat's come back for her toy." He said, still grinning. "It's a good thing you didn't take too long. I have a tendency to break other people's toys."

Selina heard an all too familar voice behind the door. She took a long, steady breath in as she listened to the slow, steady footsteps of whoever was on Joker's payroll at the time. The door opened slowly revealing an almost sickeningly sterotypical thug, grimacing at her in a way she assumed was supposed to be threatening. "Hey there kitty cat." He said obviously, undressing her with his eyes. "How you doin'?" Selina rolled her eyes. She walked past him, and ran her hand under his chin seductively. "Not with all the condoms in the world handsome." She walked past him, and the other thugs, all of which were whistling, and cat calling her as she went, but Selina was more then used to cat calls.

Holly had been leaning back in a chair, two legs off the ground, when Selina strode into the room. She had been trying to mask her anxiety of being captured by the Joker by braiding the tassles on her scarf together. She looked up as she heard the familiar click of Selina's heels on the floor with a wide, and relieved, smile. "Selina...." She said happily. It didn't matter if she used Selina's real name or not. Selina had been captured by the bat and interred in Blackgate enough times that all of Gotham knew the name of the Catwoman, and that would include Joker.

Selina looked over to Holly with a grim and scathing glare. "Hey kid...." She said softly. She walked past Holly and straight up to Joker. She kept her eyes locked onto the clowns, showing no fear or hint of wavering. She was going to appraoch this the same way she would approach a lion. She would look the animal in the eye, show no fear, show mastery, and keep a hand on the whip, just in case. The analogy wasn't completely accurate for the Joker, but it was the best she had. "OK, I'm here. That's why you wanted her. We can talk and you can let her go now." She said firmly to him.

"Really I'm fine." Holly said quickly, more then a little resentful that Selina was talking about her like she was a child. "I'm sure about that." Selina answered Holly, without looking away from Joker, or even letting her voice waver. Even though there was no change in Selina's voice, Holly could tell, Selina's last comment was chastisment. "I can take care of myself Selina." Holly muttered under her breath. Holly muttered in almost as whisper, and Joker and Selina were a safe distance away. Any normal human wouldn't have heard her, but Selina had picked up a few thing since she had started sleeping with Batman so many years ago. Selina heard enough to figure out what was being said. "Yeah, that's why you got snatched by the Joker." She said quickly and harshly. "Listen, just leave this to me ok, kid. Now Clown, You grabbed her to get me. I'm here. Congratulations, your plan worked. I'll do what you want, with a few obvious exceptions, now let the girl go." Joker would already know that the few exceptions included her sleeping with him, or asking her to kill anyone. She had only killed one person in her life, and she was never going to do it again.

Terry understood she was hurt. He let her rest and crouched placing a hand on the roof. The tiny amplifier enabled him to hear below. He heard the Joker talking, he could never forget that voice and then Catwoman's. "She's there..." He spoke softly. He then heard her start apologizing for the kiss. "Listen, don't apologize...believe it or not, I kind of needed that. I wanted it and liked it. No apologies needed. Maybe I can return the favor some point in time." Terry spoke.

Nicky smiled at Terry but then heard him mumble about catwoman being inside the building, they had to do something for her or otherwise she'd end up hurting herself and possibly Holly in the process. By now she felt somewhat better after having the water canteen.

“Listen I'll go into that hole that's in the side of the building you can disable the wall of electricity surrounding the building, I'll use the invisibility device you gave me so I can't be detected by any traps or by the guards inside the building and keep the communicator close by” said Nicky as she stood back up.

The Reaper's mask picked up screams, loud echoing ones. A woman's voice he admitted with a grimace. These morons were getting bolder, worrying less and less about getting caught. He landed heavily on a water tower glaring at the sight. the woman was backing up the fear and panic making the fire and rage of the reaper explode behind his eyes. Oh these men would die, and he'd enjoy it.

He did a glide jump down, unlike batman who would slow his decent, Reaper let his boot contact the first thug's skull hard enough to cause the skull to break inwards, grey matter was shredded. kicking off of the thug he back flipped two colt 1911's appearing in his hands and both emptying clips into the other two thugs.

He moved towards the woman only for flood lights to kick on. a "Trap" probably meant for the bat, or the bird, or maybe the well whatever Nightwing was. they had been expecting amateur hour and instead got a predator. One of the thugs armed with a machine gun called out, "What, your not that bat?"

Reaper shook his head, "******** right I'm not, I'm The reaper, a manifestation of Gotham's sins, a summoned spirit made by the devil himself, I hope you thugs are ready to burn in hell."

One of the smarter thugs laughed "Another freak i a mask, let's ice him quick before any other capes show up, huh where'd he go?"

Reaper had activated his cloak's invisibility mode, reflecting the light in a way it seemed to be absorbed, temporarily invisible he tossed a dozen smoke bombs however these weren't normal smoke bombs, a gift from The Scar crow. The womans' screams filled the night air as he winced even as enough gun fire filled the air that the woman was silenced. Using the smoke for cover however he pulled a flare launcher from the many pockets in the coat firing two modified tear gas rounds into the group. Soon the fire cut off as the screams started Thomas's own fear gas mixing with Crane's. The men were creaming, he fired more flares soon the gangsters were shooting each other. Standing up he made sure to take a running leap at the next roof turning he fired a pair or modified gas canisters into the middle of the cloud, even as his other hand fired a yank line.

He was fifty feet away as the explosion sounded. The first of the gas grenades contained an aerosol version of the substance Batman used to blow walls up, while the second was a thermite flare, both ignited the modifed chemical bonds of his own fear gas and burned so hot and so fast, the skyline appeared to have a second sun. the thugs were gone them and all their toys flash vaporized. He'd never had to use the three techniques in conjecture before, he made a note to make sure if he did again to be farther away.

Landing on a roof top Reaper felt a sharp "Bite" of pain in his side, a few bullets had hit his side, he shook his head, "Damn I feel bad for that woman, but sometimes their have to be sacrifices in the fight I wonder if their are any more set ups like this going on in town tonight."

He headed towards the roof top to continue his patrol.

Terry shook his no. "You're already hurt. I can't let what happened to Max in my time happen to you." He spoke. "You stand guard please." He spoke. Before she could respond he pulled her into his arms and kissed her deeply. He didn't know what these feelings were, but he liked them. It was completely different from Dana.

Nicky was caught off guard when he pulled her into his arms and kissed her deeply, the feelings in her grew for him and decided would the future change that much? Slowly she kissed him back it was the best feeling she felt in a long time and this wasn't so bad as she first thought it was. So many thoughts were crossing her mind at this moment but she pushed them back and finally admitted to herself she was in love with Terry and it showed and began to wonder herself if she was placed in the wrong timeline.

Terry broke the kiss and looked deep into her eyes. "You just relax her for the time being and stand guard...please." He spoke again. He kept holding her for the time being, he didn't want to let her go yet.

She wanted to Take off his mask and keep kissing him more but Nicky knew he had a job to finish “Just be careful around joker, I don't want to see you get hurt okay? I think he's gotten stronger since coming out of the lazarus pit..” said Nicky as she placed her hand on his cheek, she would stay outside in case something happened.

Joker watched the scene in amusement. Funny, how these things worked really. He estimated it would take longer for Catwoman to get here. As Catwoman approached him, all high and mighty, trying to show no fear, Joker pulled out his gun and pointed it at one of his men, shooting before anyone had time to react. The bullet lodge between the man's forehead and he stood there for a moment, before falling dead. The others' catcalls and whistling abruptly stopped and his men went serious and still in fear of Joker killing one of them too.

Joker turned his head back to Selina, making an obvious show of looking her up and down. "Such a beautiful reunion." He said, putting the gun back in his pants. He waved a finger and his men moved to lock the doors. "I can't let her loose yet, my little feline friend. I need to make sure you get me what I need first." He said, turning away and walking over to a small table he had there. He grabbed a piece of paper with a list of chemicals, some of them he knew would be hard to get on its own. He went over and held it out for her. "If you can get me all of these before the night is out, I'll let your precious blonde go." He said, keeping it short and simple. He didn't have time for his usual games this time around.

Terry was never one for the silent approach even with the Joker in his time line. however this time, he felt he needed to be. As he neared the door, he could her voices more clearly inside. Joker was definitely in there and it sounded as though catwoman was too. He tried to open the door, but found it locked. 'Easy...' He thought to himself. He brought a laser from belt and began cutting the lock open.
