When his opponent strafed to his right, making it the Vigna's left, he immediately thrust out the shot lancer so his opponent would slide right into the sharp spear-tip. During that same motion he erected that arm, he simultaneously erected the beam shield arm and deployed the beam shield. It deflected off the two beam rounds.
With his beam shield already erected, and his opponent changing his tactic, Shishiou was well-prepared when the CIWS (vulcan) rounds came hurtling at him. He had since stopped zig-zagging when he stopped to address the attacks coming at him, so it was now him being blitzed by the Vent Saviour. Since he had abruptly stopped to address the attacks he was not overwhelmed by the momentum of his machine and could respond without delay. He thrust the beam shield arm upward at the last moment.
"Heh, you tried to distract me with your vulcan fire like I do with the heavy machinegun," he murmured to the pilot, " 'Cept that I'm familiar with that tactic and it just caused me to hesitate and have to slow down to evade your attacks...now all the momentum is against you!" he said between gritted teeth as the beam shield and beam saber clash, sending sparks all around. When his opponent used the rebound to gain some distance from the backlack of the his beam saber, Shishiou thrust the shot lancer arm. Since Ryouhei was stuck fixing his aim and focusing the plasma cannons, he was primarily distracted. As Ryouhei fired the cannons Shishiou had the Vigna bend its elbow inward to point the shot lancer directly at the cockpit. He fired the shotlancer just as the beam cannons fired. Utilizing its electro magnetic acceleration, its acceleration and velocity was quickly also allowing it to pierce armor and electro-magnetic shields (I-fields, GN fields, beam shields, etc. )
While launching the spearhead toward Ryouhei, he also fired the two-barrel heavy machinegun as an added precaution. Since the Vigna had inclined slightly inward to point the spear it had rotated by a couple degrees. Although being targeted by both cannons didn't save him as the right cannon blasted through the Vigna's left arm and entire left shoulder portion, blasting off the appendage as chips of armor and sparks billowed everywhere also gtazing the wing binder behind it The other beam had passed harmlessly by.

Smirking slightly when the pilot of the Vigna Ghina had told him that he had been trying to distract him with the vulcans Ryouhei had simply shrugged. "Well since you did it I figured that I might as well get it a shot myself, but didn't seem to go as I planned." Reopening the one closed eye he had glanced back towards the other mobile suits for a only a brief moment before glancing towards to hole that had been made in the colony. "Sorry, but I don't have time to play with you all day I got to keep up with my schedule and deliver this thing to my superiors." Having fired the plasma cannons at the enemy unit his eyes had slightly widened upon seeing the shot lancer quickly approaching the cockpit of the mobile suit, having fired the plasma cannon his eyes had widened when the shot lancer had been shot at the cockpit of his mobile suit. The gundam had brought it's right arm up and had activated the beam shield generator seconds before bringing the arm to the cockpit, the beam shield had been used to decrease the spears speed but in the process the lower half of the right arm was destroyed and the tip of the spear had nearly breached the cockpit of the Vent Saviour.
Having activated the beam shield the spear had actually went through the arm and with the arm destroyed the spear had been sent falling towards the water below with bits of the arms.'Son of a b***h... almost got me... Come on Ryou... You've trained for this kind of combat already you should know what to do in times like this.' While he had been in the hanger, upon the activation of the mobile suit he had programmed a timer to be displayed on the monitor; to keep track of how long he had before having no other choice but to withdraw. 'They're almost there, I'll have to abandon this fight shortly.'

Looking at the destroyed right arm had had glared at the monitor before he had looked back at the enemy unit and had taken a deep breath before he had looked back at his units right arm, only being left with a left arm and two plasma cannons as well as the head vulcans, the Gundam still had its beam shield generator in it's left arm but with the mobile suit using it's beam saber he wasn't sure how it would do him any good but would have to figure out something sooner or later. "Running out of time." He muttered to himself.
"You b*****d you caused me an arm I have to stop playing with you now as it's either kill you or die, sadly you are worthless to me as you're not at the top of my priority this mobile suit is. And as a good loyal soldier I have to obey my superiors. It considering my friends are just about gone my distraction was a success and with that I say Adeu." The Gundam had fired a single non charged shot at the Vigna Ghina II as a distraction, two seconds after the blast had been fired the Gundam had changed from its mobile suit mode into it's mobile armor mode with with a slight change in direction had taken off towards the hole in the colony. "Not to call myself a coward but live to fight another day, I prefer to at least get this mobile suit back with some of its parts intact." smirking to himself slightly as he continued to make his retreat.
