This is just another x-over chat. c: I'm sure most of you are familiar
with these, y/y? If not, basically characters from any anime/manga/
game/etc. can come together and chat with each other through a
glorious chatroom whose sole purpose is to cause chaos ensure

your host. But truth be told, I think Velvet should be
more worthy of that title since she coded the layout and
wrote everything up for this thread. There's not much to say
about me. I'm a pretty nice person and a huge anime/manga
freak. Het, yaoi, and yuri are all love. I'm on at least every
other day, if not every day, and usually sign on during the

⇒ The rules... everyone hates them, but they have to be followed, you
know? Don't worry, the rules won't be bad at all~ I'll make sure of it. ;D

Follow the Gaia ToS - Pretty self-explanatory. Be respectful and
kind to other members. I understand if your muse is rude to others,
but do not cause any type of OOC drama for others. No one likes it
outside of roleplays, and I'm sure you don't either. Needless to say,
all type of sexualities are allowed here... yaoi, yuri, het, all of
it is allowed... though maintaining a balance would be awesome.
Do not bash someone for the pairings they like, etc. We are all
mature people, so I'm pretty sure we won't have any trouble here. c:

Be as active as possible- The most important thing to keep
anything going. I won't be too strict on this since I understand that
everyone is busy with school and everything, but it would mean
a lot to us if you post even once a week. It's not much to log in,
post, and then log out after half an hour or so. This chatroom relies
on you to survive, so please post whenever you can. If you think
you will be away/unable to post, or wish to leave the chatplay for
whatever reason, please send a PM to either of the mods in
order to let us know. We won't hold anything against you...
honest! In fact, we'll be glad you told us rather than just never post
again. Also, if you drop a muse, please PM Star_Showers so
she will be able to update the taken list.

Characters - Regarding characters, there's no limit as to how
many you may have, but just please do not take more than you can
handle. If you don't think you will ever use your character, then please
leave them for someone else. They would appreciate it a lot, I'm sure~
c: Also, try not to be OOC with your characters. Of course, we can't be
100% accurate on everything, but do not make them so OOC that
they become a whole different person. The only exception to this rule
is when the OOC event is in session. Well, all of you are great with
your muses, so... this shouldn't be much of a problem~

Romance - Romance is strongly encouraged, but please keep
it reasonable, around the PG-13 rating. Nothing too graphic. Simple
enough, right?

Ignoring - This seems to be a serious problem in most chatplays.
Please try your best to talk to everyone... or if you can't handle them,
take a second to make a quick OOC note. Do not only talk to the
person your character is pre-planned with. If you want to do that, then
maybe it's best if you make a one x one chat. This is an x-over
chatroom for a reason, where all members can chat with one another.

Layouts - When it comes to layouts, you don't have to make
them overly extravagant or anything, but please make them at least
easy on the eyes. Avoiding using blinding colors, and such.
Furthermore, and this is important, do not steal! That is the
one thing that will absolutely not be tolerated. People work hard on
their layouts, and if we find out that someone has stolen, that
person will be kicked out without any exceptions.

Literacy - This is a literate chatplay... correct grammar and such
is, of course, required, but by no means are we grammar Nazi's. We
understand everyone makes mistakes here and there... but please
do your best to type legibly, and at least more than simple one-liners,
since that way, you will give more for the other person to work with.
You don't have to strain over what your character will say and type a
whole wall of text... but just enough for the other people to make a
reply with. Caps are not a requirement, though.

Have fun - The most important rule, in my opinion. It's a chatplay
for the purpose of having fun... so relax, and just... have fun! If you
have any questions or comments, please send a PM to either
Star_Showers or Of Velvet Smiles. We are forever at
your service. ;3

January 23, 2012 - The thread is now officially opened!

February 07, 2012 - Alrighty! So, for the secret Valentine's Day event, we're
going to spread some looove~ It will start on February 14, Valentine's Day,
and will last for three days, until February 17. During the event, your
character will receive some type of random lovey-dovey gift with their name
on it everyday, from some unknown entity person.
Participation is completely optional... but recommended. You can pre-plan
with others, or be anonymous. The characters don't even have to have met
before to send/receive something from one another... because it's always
possible that the gift got sent to the wrong person... somehow~
If once the event starts, and you didn't receive a PM saying that your
character got something, or if your character received only one or two gifts,
then for the rest of the event you could still pretend that they did receive
something the next day. What the gift is could be entirely up to you... and
as for who sent it, no one will ever know~
So, with that out of the way, look through the profile thread and send
Star_Showers a PM with the name of your character, the name of the
other character(s) you would like to send something to, and the name of the
gift(s) being sent to each one of them. Be as specific as you'd like!
Multiple gifts can be sent... but please keep it within reason. For example,
people in ancient Japan won't be sending holographic cards to others.
Title the PM 'my love shows' and send as many things as you want.
Go crazy with it~ ;D Now, if your character receives more than one gift,
you can decide whether they receive it on a different day, or the same one.
NOTE: YOU ONLY HAVE UNTIL FEBRUARY 12 TO SEND IN YOUR
PM'S. I won't be accepting them after that, so don't slack off! After all PM's
are in, another message will then be sent out on February 13 to you if
your characters happened to receive a gift from another, but no names will
be mentioned... at least, not until after the event. And no, characters
should not know who sent it even once the event ends and the list is up,
unless they have pre-planned with someone else,or if it happens to be
revealed by the one who sent it. You got it? 8D You got ittt. The event
will officially kick off on Valentine's Day, so start planning now! You can
use the OOC threads or PM's to plan~ But you don't have to.

March 01, 2012 - Our first official event, love at first sight! This event is
pretty simple, so no major explaining needs to be done. Your character
will basically fall in love with the first person they interact with. You can
decide whether their crush remains the same during the entire event, or
if it changes every time they log on. Once the event's over, it's your
choice on whether or not they kept their feelings on love towards a
person, or if it just completely disappeared into thin air. People aren't
obligated to participate, but it's strongly encouraged. Have fun!

March 30, 2012 - Our second event is handcuffed! Your character will
wake up one day and find themselves chained to someone else! It could
be their best friend, their worst enemy, a lover, or even a total stranger!
What's more, they ended up in a completely unfamiliar location (unless
you want to pre-plan with the other person and agree on a specific
location, which is totally fine) Chains are unbreakable and they can't get
out of it until the event ends. Just whatever you do, try not to kill one
another. To see who's chained to who, the list is HERE If there are any
mistakes, or if you wish to change anything, please let me or Of Velvet
Smiles know, and we'll fix it ASAP. Once the event starts (April 1st),
you can't change anything anymore...so make sure you're quick if
you're requesting any changes. The event will last for 8 days, until
April 10th. Also, you can expect a profile sweep probably a week

⇒ Here are the list of events and a brief description. c: When the time
comes, they will be posted in a poll, and members will get to vote for
which one they would like. More information on the events will be
added when the time comes.

Body swap - Your character will wake up one day and find that they
have switched bodies with another character. Oh, the inhumanity!

Ageswap - Same like the above, only there will be a difference in age.
Whether the character will become younger or older will depend entirely
on you.

What if? - A 'what if' scenario... basically, you can take your character
and drag them into a totally different AU scenario.

Worst day ever - Your character will have the worst day(s) or their lives
during the course of the event.

Happy time - The opposite of the event above. During the course of the
event, your character will have fortune smiling upon them.

OOC - This is the one chance where your character will get to act
completely different. Fun, simple, easy.

Handcuffed - Your character wakes up one day to find themselves
chained to another character!

Genderbend - Characters switch genders. Simple enough, right?
Needless to say... they will certainly be... uncomfortable~

Love at first sight - Characters fall in love with the first person they
interact with.

The fourth wall - We're destroying the fourth wall! That means your
characters now know you are there. They can now hear you, and
interact with you.

Part of your world- Your character gets thrown into another
character's world. Which world they get thrown into will be
entirely up to you, and more than one character can get
thrown into the same world. They can be any world but
their own... unless, of course, a character isn't participating.

Zombie invasion - Somehow, zombies are starting to walk
the planet. What will your character do this situation?

Secret marriage - Your character wakes up one day to find
that they are now married to someone else! Now what?!

Truth or truth - During this event, your character will
speak the truth, only the truth, and nothing but the
truth. ...Goodluck with that~

Dare or Dare: The characters have no choice but to do a
dare that someone asks! (Suggested by mochi-desu)

Seven Deadly Sins - During this event, your character will
wake up one day, and their personality, whatever it may be, is
replaced with attributes of a deadly sin. anything that comes
out of their mouth and everything they do would pertain to that
sin completely. (Suggested by AstrologicalMayhem)

Second Generation - An event that won't happen until MUCH
later. Basically, characters will get married, have children,
etc. If preferred, you may even get to roleplay the children
of those said characters.

Love potion - Two characters are paired together and they fall
in love with each another for an unknown reason, whether
they want to or not. (Suggested by iYaoi Potter)

Babysitter - Two characters end up paired with one another,
and find an abandoned baby. They both have to work together to
take care of the baby. (Suggester wishes to remain anonymous)

Survival of the fittest - Your characters will be paired in groups
of twos or threes (possibly even fours), and will be thrown into some
random location. They will have to work with each other to survive,
or maybe they will even start bonding in the process. (Suggester
wishes to remain anonymous)

Furry Day - Your character(s) will wake one day and find find
that they have animal appendages. Whether it's a tail or ears, or
even if they say "meow" after each sentence, they will be sure
to be adorable!

⇒ More will be added as they are thought of~ Feel free to send
in a PM to Star_Showers if you have any recommendations!
You can title it 'fear my genius' or whatever you want... and
give the event name and a brief description on it. You will be
credited, naturally~ Also, for special Holidays, there may be a

of relationships bloom, but we will undoubtedly ask you for
permission and confirmation before adding their names to the
