__Hearing someone greet him from afar, Elliot turned around to see who called out to him. Noticing that it was a fellow Sohma, he smiled widely as he waved to her. "Hey Chise-chan~!" He responded playfully as he walked over to her so they didn't have to shout at each other to have a regular conversation. As he got closer and closer to the female rabbit, he saw someone else with her. "Ah, Kaede nee-san is there too....More company~" He said to himself as the smile on his face grew wider. Soon enough, he met up with them and waved at them again like a little kid. He turned to look at Chise and decided to respond to her question first. "Elly-chan is fine, just a typical average Saturday morning so nothing really happened that was out of the ordinary...." He pouted in a child-like manner, wondering how her day has been.

"Morning Kaede-chan, Ellie-kun," Chise greeted the two cousins that responded to her. Upon hearing each of their answers she let out a small sigh, "Ah, how boring, I'll have been doing is reading." Grabbing her book the rabbit stood and disappeared inside her room for a moment to put it away before running back out to stand on her porch with a smile.

"I know!" Chise declared, interlocking her fingers behind her back and leaning forward slightly to be closer to eye-level with the others. "How about we go have fun somewhere?" she asked the two zodiac members hopefully. Though Chise enjoyed her alone time, she couldn't stand the idea of being cooped up in her room the entire vacation.

__Elliot's head perked up when he heard the word 'fun'. His eyes sparkled at the thought of what they could do for fun. A wide grin formed on his face as he jumped up and down in excitement. "That sounds like a great idea!" He shouted out of happiness while he stopped jumping up and down and looked towards his older cousin, the Horse."What do you say, Nii-san?" The boy asked her in a voice befitting a young child. He made a questionable look on his face as he began to wonder what the three of them could do for fun. He hadn't hung out with his cousins in a long while so he was really psyched to hang out with them today.

Kaede turned her head to see Elliot approaching them. "Ah!" Her eyes lit up as she waved to him. "Ohayo, Elliot-kun." She greeted cheerfully, that same smile on her face. As they conversed, she set the box down next to her feet and folded her arms over her chest. It really was a peaceful day. There hadn't been one like it for her in a while - not with work, the nagging she heard to get a life, and the usual stresses of being a part of the zodiac, definitely not. Yet, for some reason, all that seemed to go away, at least for the morning...

"What do you say, nii-san?"

Closing her eyes, she laughed silently, putting a finger to her chin in habit. Imagine that - her cousins wanted to go do something instead of doing nothing. She didn't blame them, really; she had the same desire. Lifting her head up, Kaede nodded, already excited with the knowledge that this day would not be a boring one.

"Sounds just fine to me." Of course, she didn't know if they were supposed to stay there or not, but it didn't matter at the moment. That was how life always was for her. "Now, by finding something fun, does that mean we want to find something to do here in the estate or leave for a while?" She asked curiously, tucking a strand of her dark hair behind one ear.

Soft pale lips parted in a sigh as two bright blue orbs watched the rain fall from the far off sky. The weather was awfully pleasant today. What lucky star had he come across this time, hm? The light shower was no bother to him, and this weather had luckily chased away the morning sun to some degree, leaving it less severe than usual. It was nearly perfect, by his standards. A perfectly pleasant morning all in all. No complaints there. Sadly, He couldn't say the same for the time of year. It was a holliday. That meant no school. No school meant no homework to occupy himself with. Now what was he suppose to tell his family if they asked him to hang out? That he had a funeral to attend? No one would believe him if he said he had other plans. He never went out, other than for school clubs, all of which he only took part in for the sake of passing time. The only club he was in this year was actually the debate team, which was not even literally a club.

His eyes closed, long silver lashes brushing against smooth pale cheeks. He needed something to do. Anything to keep his mind occupied, and sleeping wasn't an option. He wasn't tired. Maybe a nice walk would do. The rain wasn't all too bad and he wasn't going to get too cold either. The weather was even getting better, unfortunately. He could handle it. In fact, a leisurely stroll would probably do him some good, rather he liked it or not. He hadn't had any real exercise in a while now. The idea bored him, but at least he would be doing something. Hopefully it would be a good enough reason not to have to bother with his parents if they stopped in. Or anyone else for that matter.

With this in mind, the white haired sixteen year old stood to his full height of a mere five feet and five inches, the chair scraping silently on the wooden floor of his room. He peered around the room as he tried to deside whether he should change into something more befitting a casual walk or if he should just remain in the black uniform that he always wore. He didn't need to change, really. It wasn't important or anything. Thus, in the end he settled for simply brushing his long silvery hair out and washing his hands and face. He had put on the uniform merely an hour ago and didn't see the point in changing out of it so soon. At the time he had gotten dress he had also brushed his teeth, so that was covered too.

He turned to the door as he pressed some of his bangs back, hand running over his freshly washed forehead. He wasn't forgetting anything, right? Oh! Right. His cell phone. He looked over to his desk and spotted his cell still plugged into the wall from last night. He would need to keep that with him just in case of an emergency, or just for the convenience. This was something he always told himself. And he was telling himself this now as he slipped the small device into the pocket of his fitted black pants.

                  ねずみくん

When he was sure he was ready to go, he turned and headed out the door. No one was around so no formal goodbyes were necessary. Simply walking out would do. Another advantage to not having his family around during the day. At least, this was how he saw it initially. Solitude was good, to him. It meant less trouble. All in all, solitude was pretty much his perfect element. It meant silence and tranquility. A peacefulness he could enjoy. And at this moment, all around him was silent. All accept for the soft pitter patter of the rain falling on his shoulders as he walked along the paths of the Sohma estate. He had no destination and no plans. It was just another way to spend all the time he seemed to have nothing better to do with.

His eyes fell half lidded as he continued on his path, the skies slowly starting to clear. Soon the sun would be shining like normal and he would probably retreat into his house again. That or a nearby building. Either would work. For now, though, he would continue his walk, hands neatly pressed into the pockets of his fitted black pants. The small chain that hung from his pants rattled and clanked very softly as he came to a stop. He had spotted some of the other Zodiac members. Not that he cared all to much about it, but he did feel somewhat curious about what had driven them to clump together like that. There were twelve members to the zodiac and not all of them even lived on the estate, which was rather large. It was amazingly coincidental in his opinion that they had all ended up wandering into the same general area. He inwardly scoffed at how he seemed so easily amused by this fact. Was he really so bored?

He watched them quietly for a moment, noticing the fact that they seemed to be planning something among themselves. Those present were the hitsuji, the uma, and the usagi. The ram, the horse, and the hare, to put it in plain English. He needn't bother with a hello. They wouldn't expect it of him anyways. He never really greeted people. And they might not even notice him, at that. He sighed, turning to walk off and continue onward in no particular direction.

" I've only been here a couple hours and I'm already freaking out over what I'm going to do now that I'm done unpacking and other things...Perfect..." A sweet melodic voice could be heard coming from the newest occupied room inside of the Sohma estate to anyone passing by. The source? Sixteen year old Kurayami Sohma, the newest edition to the Shoma household, and not by choice. Well it was by choice, just not by her choice. If it was up to her she would have been at home with her mother, remaking the chocolate chip pancakes her mother found some new way to ruin every Saturday and preparing freshly squeezed lemonade or orange juice. Or something with strawberries. Why strawberries? Because they made everything better! Why else? And after brunch (( never breakfast because she normally spent her mornings cleaning )) was prepared she would get ready for her next assignment, if she had one, and be on her way to work. But it wasn't her choice and because of that she wasn't at home with her mother, doing the same thing she had been doing since she was little and it was tearing her up inside. And all of this because of some dumb request from her fathers family head.

For two years the head of the Sohma family, her fathers family, had been sending letters to her house, or well her mothers house now, asking for her to come and stay with them. Why? She had no earthly clue. Not only that but she didn't care. As far as she knew he didn't take interest in her until her father died, until he first saw her. Even so, a few days ago her mother had some how convinced her to go and say with them until they end of her third year in high school and see how she liked it. Even though she wanted to say no she couldn't deny her mothers wishes so decided to go anyway. So within a few days time she had gotten her things packed and early this morning she had arrived. She hadn't met with anyone though. Instead she had gone straight to her room and began unpacking getting her room in order. Well no...order wasn't the right word, more like even. Yeah, that was the perfect word. Mainly because the girls room was symmetrical down to the last centimeter, the main reason she had spent so long unpacking. But her OCD was to blame for that more then anything else, and maybe a little bit of procrastination.

" Well...I can't stay in here forever, that would be more then a little unhealthy. I think I'll make something to eat and go out for a bit." With that being said Kurayami stood up from her spot on her bed, slipping off the white silk night gown she wore and headed over to her closet. Removing her hair from its pigtails she let it fall loose around her back and shoulders. Just what was she going to wear today anyway? She was feeling...sun set orange and white today. How do you feel colors? No idea but Kurayami did and she went with it when ever she got dressed, like now for example.

Now for a person that had never looked through Kurayami's closet before there were a few things that should be known. The first thing was that it was never to be touched without permission, that was one of her big no nos. The second thing was that if you did touch when you weren't suppose to but what ever you got back from where you got it exactly or she'd find out. Sounds easy right? Wrong. The girls closet was arranged by color, fabric, sleeve length, leg length, skirts, and so much more. It was just about impossible for a normal person to place anything back into the right place without confusion. But that was also a part of her OCD and she couldn't help it.

Reaching inside the girl pulled out an orange knight tube top and a pair of white capris with a leatherette orange belt. Slipping the her pants and the shirt on first she slipped the belt on. Checking her mirror she nodded to herself before removing a pair of orange canvas wedged heels and her orange iPod nano case from her closet along with her umbrella. Yes she had an orange iPod case, she had one of every color and then some so she could match when she put it on. Was this a problem? Maybe. Well no, it was a problem and she was big enough to admit it but do absolutely nothing about it. Grabbing a white clutch bag, another thing she had multiple colors of, she shoved both her iPod, the umbrella, and the orange case inside, tying her heels together and slinging them over her shoulder right before grabbing her camera and putting it around her neck and heading out of her room, looking left and right...Great...which way was the way out again? She couldn't exactly remember.

" Man do I feel stupid...." she murmured in response to her own stupidity. Letting out a sigh she began to make her way down the hall, she wasn't really sure where she was going but any place was better then standing around in a random spot out in front of her room. " Exactly where am I going to go anyway....." The thing that she hated most about moving to a new place, aside from introducing herself to new people, was learning the area and her new house. People were simple. A name, an age, a phone number, and possibly an address was all you really had to remember on a first impression, that and a few of the things you talked about. Simple and easy. As for remembering places...that could be a little more difficult, or at least it would be for her seeing how she was directionally challenged.

When it came to houses if it was a big enough place she could get easily lost. Her first or second time around a new place by herself often resulted in her mother coming to look for her. The only problem this time would be the fact that her mother wasn't here for her, and not only that but she didn't know anyone that could actually help her. Even though she had twelve other cousins she knew none of them really well since she hadn't seen them in a couple of years and only one week before that, and then there was the god, another person she wasn't familiar with. In other words at the moment she had no one she could rely on if she got into trouble. It was a scary thought.

Turning a corner she noticed a door that lead outside, one of the pathways. It wasn't the front door but it would at least get her there...Heading out she looked around, the cool air rushing past her cheeks as she opened the door, the sound of voices accompanying it. She couldn't see anyone just yet but at least she knew she was close to some kind of life.
