...you can call me, Red Volt!

Urk!

Dillon was caught by the throat. In one fluid motion, the woman had sidestepped her attack, simultaneously hooking her neck in her arm. Another move, and Dillon was heading head first towards the ground with no means of catching herself.

And then, contact.

With a sharp crack, her forehead collided with the floor. Everything flashed. Got fuzzy. Was she even conscious? For several seconds, the girl lost track of where she was. Squinting against the spots in her eyes, Red Volt staggered on her knees, trying to regain balance. Her face was hot, her eyes tearing from pain and embarrassment. And her legs wouldn't work. She couldn’t let her first attempt end like this…

Reaching shakily for her belt, Dillon felt for her grapple. Last chance. Her vision was blurring, but she could make out Alice’s form. Lesson one. Sweep for the legs.

"...No...you...don't..."

Taking aim as best she could, she pulled the trigger, aiming for the back of the knees.

xxxxxAlice was up and moving quickly. She was almost to the railing, assured that she could escape, when she heard a click, and then felt something wrap around her knees. She looked down... a cable.

xxxxxShe frowned, moving her tongue around in her mouth, carefully flipping a razor blade between her teeth and then extracting it with her fingers. It was intended to be purely for self-defense, in case she ended up in a situation where, for some reason, she was tied up or otherwise restrained... well, this was that situation.

xxxxxIt was sharp, severing the cable. She stepped out of it, picking up one of the moneybags. She looked back at the girl, kicking the cable and hook towards her. She pondered knocking her out... but decided against it. It wasn't worth it. She was just a kid, unlikely to keep following her, and the police would be here soon.

xxxxxAlice jumped, grabbing the railing of the stairs and vaulting herself over with the bag, landing about half-way up. She hurried back up to the roof, hearing the sirens.

xxxxxcolor=deeppink]That was a little too easy... she reflected. She vaguely remembered how Red Robin had fought the Mad Hatter. It was more organized. Efficient. He knew what he was doing. This girl didn't, she was clearly new at this; maybe Alice had gotten lucky. A wannabe Batgirl rather than the real deal. She'd have to be more careful next time, better prepared.

xxxxxShe frowned as she leaped to the next roof, beginning her escape. The smoke pellets were interesting... and not hard to get around, now that she could expect them. Infared goggles would be a good investment.

xxxxxLooks like I learned something tonight. That's... ironic. I'll have to thank the little rabbit next time I see her.

                                            xxxxxIf she saw her again./size]

'Say wha...?' Did Selina just flirt with him? d**k could have sworn his eye just twitched at the thought. Surely she was joking and just trying to get the upper hand in their imminent confrontation like she did with most men she came across or stole from. But something from that smile she was giving him made him feel rather odd...? Could it be she was being serious? d**k could feel his eye twitch yet again from the thought.

'Greeeat...' Just what d**k really needed right now, another woman, a lover of his Father/Mentor's no less trying to seduce him, couldn't it have just been, Kory or Helena trying to seduce him? That at least would make sense and easy to handle. This however wasn't... Without things getting awkward at least... The questions going through his mind right now were: Did Bruce and Selina have yet another bad falling out, so what kind of game was she playing right now, and last but not least why did d**k have to get caught in the middle of it? It was in that moment his communicator had went off in his ear with Bruce's voice sounding just as grim as ever. 'Speak of the devil! Well good, could WE trade places now by any chance?' d**k mentally complained to himself more as he was still ever observant of Selina. 'Oh well... Handle the situation the best you can Grayson... Hopefully Babs will eventually show up to make things less awkward...'

"Look Catwoman, I'm not into playing your games right now..." Surely thats what this had to be, d**k mentally reinforced. "Look... Kitty Cat, how about YOU simply walk away and things don't have to get anymore complicated. Or..." Nightwing swiftly drew his escrima sticks. "You can make things complicated and I'll have to take you up on your second offer." Terrible play on words but it worked. After all best not to show he was uncomfortable with her sudden innuendo.

Other than the interesting situation, d**k despite focused was wondering something else. Just what was Selina after though? Its not like she was expecting d**k to show up so she wasn't after HIM thankfully... And none of the items she was gracefully browsing through matched her MO whatsoever. And the plot thickens... d**k gripping his sticks tightly continued to observe the Cat Burglar...

Frantically the elder man fled in hopes of escaping the masked figure. Little good that would do. Running would only delay the inevitable. Jason would get the information he desired. One way or another. Chasing a bozo like this man down did not fit his style anymore. Yes back in his youth the traditional method of capturing someone involved leaping from buildings, moving faster and more agile than your target, and finally the physical take down. Jason preferred his evolved methods as of late. Why waste your energy on a thug like him anyway? Fear already set in on the criminal as is, so all he would need to do was wait for the perfect opportunity to slow him down. Grinning behind the red mask he wore Jason slipped back into the shadows. Scaling a nearby building would be sufficient enough for what he had in mind. Thanks to the training and skills developed in his past climbing walls was like a walk in the park. Less horizontal and more vertical.

Upon reaching his destination Jason leaned against the stone guard rail. Never losing sight of his target he waited for the man to believe his was truly safe. False sense of security. No one in this wretched city was safe. Even after everything that the Bats had given to them. Everything was for naught. If you want order sometimes you needed to do the things you swore against. That was the difference between Bruce and Jason. Well that and most people would consider him clinically insane. Removing his protective mask for a moment he laid it onto the rail. There were only a few times when he took his mask off. One being when he was absolutely sure no one could see him and the second being when sniping moving targets from hidden positions.

"Someday. This will be you clown" Jason held a twisted smile on his face as he uttered these words. Malice at its finest. Joker took it all from him that faithful day. Only natural that Jason wanted to extract sweet revenge from him. Soon he would get that chance. Jason simply needed to be patient.

Whiz. A perfect shot through both knee caps. Moving targets were difficult at times to hit when there were obstacles in the way however he wasn't a normal gun for hire. If anything, the man considered himself way above these pathetic excuses of criminals. Perched in the shadows of the building just adjacent of his prey, he pulled the rifle close to his chest. Simply stupid of the man. Fleeing from someone who has had more body counts than he probably had money in his pockets. Jason would get the information he needed one way or another. Hearing cries echo through the vicinity Jason stretched a bit. "Time to collect my prize" Jason placed the mask back on before leaving to retrieve the man. Unlike the Bats he could leave his weapon behind. There was no physical evidence to suggest that it was him. Finger prints were carefully removed as well as gloves to ensure none were left. The empty rifle had served its purpose anyway. What kind of person only had one bullet inside of a rifle anyway? A damn good gunman that's who. Red Hood.

Within mere moments Jason appeared behind the man. "Please I don't know anything" pleading would get him no where. Did he not realize that by now? Walking within a circle of the man Jason drew a small caliber gun from his left holster. "You know, I'm not really the type to negotiate. Especially when I know someone is hiding something I want" Kneeling down in front of the man he brought the gun to this chin. "Short version is that you're hiding someone I really want to meet. Tell me where he is and I might even consider letting you go" emphasis on might. Removing the gun from his chin he brought it to the one of the leg's wound. Using the gun to put pressure on it he listened to the agonizing yelps. "Sounds good doesn't? Living. Just tell me where the Joker is"

Another dead end. The man did not know anything after all. Wasting minutes on him for nothing. "Well if you do see him, tell him Red Hood wants to have a little chat with him" That being said Jason fled the scene, leaving the scum to rot there. Yes he could have killed him but he would eventually bleed out. There wasn't anyone nearby for miles. Not on a night when Birds and Bats where off doing what they did best. Since the thug he apprehended led him to absolutely nothing, Jason began to rethink his methods. First and far most Jason needed money. Numerous ways of getting it poured through his head. Swindling, cheating, killing or perhaps even the best one yet, simply stealing it from those who have more than enough.

'Time to make a withdrawal' Jason did not have the luxury of the fancy toys and gadgets that Bruce used to provide but he did retain his street smarts. Hot wiring a motorcycle was pretty simply actually. And look there happened to be one in red near by. After a few seconds of fiddling with the machine he was able to get it to run. Next destination would be Gotham City First National Bank. Or at least that was his original plan. As he rode through the city he couldn't help but zoom by GCPD. Looks like someone was having fun. Time to take a peek at who this was. In a full 180 degree turn Jason went back towards the station which caused incoming traffic to become extremely scuffled. 'Surprised the boy blunder hasn't dropped in yet. Guess that leaves me to do all the dirty work.'

Stopping a block from the police station Jason scouted the area using binoculars. Looks like Gotham's finest displaying their lack luster ability to control a few hired henchmen. Quite pitiful really. Making his way up top the roof of the building he attempted to get a better angle. He wanted to know who he was dealing with first before 'dropping by'. Jason began his infiltration of the station by leaping from the building and leaping down onto the station. Entering via the roof thanks to a few borrowed laser cutters he proceeded inside the building. The sounds of men yelling at one another could be heard. Meant they were close by. Bingo. Judging from their attire he could speculate they were Two-Face's men. That would prove to be entertaining. Without hesitation Jason quietly made his way over to one of the men, easily knocking them unconscious. Five more guards seemed to be blocking his way in. He would need a distraction. Nah shooting would be sufficient enough. Taking the only two pistols from his holster he began firing towards the men, slowly taking them out one by one.

Ivy rolled her eyes. It was all still the same. 'Mista J this and Mista J that.' Ugh... It sickened her. How anyone could be so damn devoted to a man like him just didn't make sense and it never would. Getting caught in the punch line was far from the truth.
"Look Harl, as much as you love that twisted clown, he's never gonna stop treating you like dirt. We've witnessed this how many times?"
Ivy hadn't ever bothered to keep track, but she had a faint idea that every time the girl had gone back to him, it all ended the same way. One way or another, Harley either ended up on her door step or in Arkham.

Her eye almost twitched. Batman. Of course everyone of the criminals she knew, herself included, would blame the Dark Knight. And why wouldn't they? He'd always lock them back up in Arkham to receive psychiatric help, yet to no avail. Rare cases occurred, but they all went back one way or another to their lives of crime.

Shaking that thought from her head, she smiled slightly.
"I'm holding you to this new start Harl. As for the mall... I couldn't even say myself. Batman dropped off the face of the Earth. Doubt the flying rodent's dead. Whatever the case is, his Bat-brats haven't bothered to step foot on my territory."
Even Ivy was confused by this. No Batgirl, Robin, or Nightwing. It made no sense, but why should she care? Her paradise was left untouched.

Sensing movement through her territory, she glared. Spoke, too soon. Three of them. Great, while she was chit-chatting with Harley, two more rats had made their way in. Not that she was surprised. They worked in packs normally.
"I spoke, too soon Harl. We've got company coming."
A smirk spread across her face. She had been itching for a fight and now that fight was coming straight into her web.

Dinner with her father. Hardly. Half way through the home cooked meal, her father had received an urgent call concerning the Joker. Typical that the Clown Prince of Crime would disturb the peaceful evening. Babs rolled her eyes as she packed away all the leftovers and placed all of the dishes in the sink. Why couldn't a night in Gotham ever be peaceful?

Shaking her head, Barbara made her way into the master bedroom of her apartment. Yes, her apartment. She had moved out of her father's humble home months ago, preferring a more private lifestyle that didn't prevent her from donning her costume and taking off into the night whenever she was needed. The occasional dinner didn't hinder her, merely stalled her.

Sitting at her desk, she opened her laptop and within a few key strokes brought up her own personal map of the city. Why was this map so special? She could track each of the Bat-Family members, with the exception of a certain anti-hero, and monitor their conditions. Ah the beauty of the suits that each of them wore. Looking over their locations, she was rather surprised to see Tim with Cass and Steph. He hadn't exactly kept in contact with herself or d**k as far as she knew. Shrugging, she briefly tapped into Cassandra's communicator.

"I know you were supposed to lead this mission tonight Black Bat, however, I'm giving full control to Red Robin."
In response, she received a simple, 'Yes Batgirl' before Barbara, shocked as she was, heard from Bruce. Now there was a surprise and did he just say sorry? Was he alright or had Bane hit him harder than she thought? Only one way to find out, right?
"Bruce, are you sure you should even be out on the streets? Your leg might not be ready for this kind of stress..."
Oh who was she kidding? Bruce would do whatever he wanted and if he deemed himself fully recovered there was no way of stopping him from staying on the streets of Gotham to fight alongside the others. Not that it mattered in the end either way. Barbara frowned as she didn't receive a response right away.

Typical. Sighing, she shook her head a little more and pushed away from her computer to pull on her costume, leaving her face exposed. Returning to the laptop, she pressed a few more keys and brought up another screen. This one detailed the former 'Holiday' case. July 4th had been... a shock. A dozen of the Joker's henchmen had been found dead along with fireworks and even the murder weapon. No prints were on the weapon and not a single trace of evidence had been left, save the .22. A decade had passed since the previous murders under the holiday case had been committed so why start again now?

Pushing away from the laptop again and closing it, she pulled her cowl over her face. No sense sticking around to figure it out. In due time, the killer would slip up when they got, too cocky. For now, she would hit the streets to patrol on her own and remain relatively close. If she were summoned for back-up, she could take off to one of her fellow vigilante's location without a second thought. 'To City Hall, then.' She thought to herself, stepping out onto the fire escape and aiming her batclaw at the nearest rooftop to begin her patrol.

Both women listened intently to Tim's plan. To Steph, Barbara had made the right call. Between herself and Cass, the two would have been going in half-cocked and unprepared for the duo that, by now, were awaiting their entrance. Not that she was doubting Cassandra's ability to take out Ivy and Harley. She had seen the raven haired woman in action on numerous occasions. Hell, she had even sparred with her, despite Steph's lack of formal training and the two both knew that the blonde had no chance of hitting a master like Cass. Steph jumped slightly as she was brought out of her thoughts by Tim, whom had placed a vial of herbicide into her hand. When had she even moved her hand to accept it? She was far, too lost in her own thoughts to realize she had.

Looking down at the vial, she frowned. Wouldn't this only piss Ivy off? It's not like she'd be devastated to the point where she wouldn't put up a fight. Even if her so called 'babies' died in the ensuing conflict, Steph was certain that the red head would be more inclined to kill her for killing her plants than surrendering peacefully. Wasn't Ivy practically a plant herself? Tilting her head, she continued to think on it more. If Ivy was, wouldn't the herbicide harm her, too? Ugh.... too many questions. It couldn't hurt to ask Tim at the least.
"Um... Tim, wouldn't the herbicide hurt Ivy, too? She is kind of a plant, too... right?"
Yeah, she sounded kinda stupid to herself right now, but could they really afford to hurt another human being like that, villain or not? Steph was pretty sure that was against Batman's moral code, considering what this simple little chemical was capable of.

Cass wanted to roll her eyes. Not at Steph, but at the thought of being able to negotiate with an eco-terrorist like Ivy. It just wasn't possible unless her plants were in danger. Then again, they would be surrounded by her vines and whatever else Ivy had created to defend her mall. A venus fly trap perhaps? No, not the typical one that couldn't harm a human. Cass was mentally referring to one that could probably swallow one of them without issue or hesitation. Not that it would stop them from evicting Ivy. They were cunning enough to find a way out of Ivy's traps.

Harley might be a different story. She was unpredictable and dangerous, even if she didn't seem like it. Steph could handle her, but... Cass wasn't exactly inclined to leave her friend in the hands of the former psychiatrist. With as long as the harlequin had been around Joker, Cass was more than certain that Harley had picked up a few of the deranged clown's sick jokes. Even worse, the hostages could probably out muscle Steph, even in their current states. Zombified hostages that were more than willing to kill for Ivy thanks to pheromone dust... Another thing she was far from thrilled about. Knowing Steph, she wouldn't be thinking of herself. That was already confirmed just by her words about the herbicide.

Both women were lost in their own thoughts and worries. Not that they had time to worry that much as they would soon be raiding the very mall they stood outside of. Had Ivy already sensed their presence? Was she already prepared for their pending invasion? No more time to think. Cass finally spoke up.
"Tim, using the herbicide, we could always use Ivy's plants as a ransom to safely evacuate the hostages before taking her down and evicting her shortly after. Despite the potential harm the chemical could be to her, she knew her risks when she took over the mall months ago."
Blue and brown eyes stared at Tim as they awaited his response.

Even if she wasn't on speaking terms with the Bat, she did miss their usual game. It wasn't much fun pilfering Gotham without the danger that Batman brought. Nightwing might be a decent replacement.

Everything was going smoothly. Two-face's truck was filling up very quickly with valuable merchandize and bags of cash, which Two-face would use to fund his operation here in Gotham city. The Gotham PD were already pre-occupied with the many other villains of the city, and therefore the resistance to the heist was minimal. Harvey thought that he may actually get away with a clean operation for once. Of course, he was not naive enough to actually believe this. This city was full of to many meddlers for anything to go according to plan. This theology was proven to be true when one of his men came running out of the evidence room, fear stricken on his face. "What the hell are you doing! Get back in there," Two-face barked pointing his gun at the coward of a henchman.

"RED HOOD IS ATTACKING US," his man exclaimed, before turning and running down the alley in attempt to flee the scene.

Harvey quickly flipped his coin as he pointed his pistol at the fleeing henchman. Scarface down. This coward would live to see another day. Deciding to turn his attention to the impending issue, Harvey motioned a couple of his personal guards to follow him into the evidence room. Some of the men had stopped loading the truck to take cover behind various shelves and boxes. " GET BACK TO WORK OR I'LL SHOOT YOU MYSELF," Two-face barked, shooting his pistol off in the air to prove to his men that he wasn't kidding. All of them hesitated at first, before reluctantly going back to carrying various boxes and bags of drugs, money and confiscated weapons into the truck parked outside. Satisfied to see that his scare tactic had worked, Harvey moved towards the door that had gun shots emitting from the other side of it.

Placing his back against the wall beside the door, Harvey nodded to one of them who kicked the door open. Quickly looking around the corner, Harvey had come just in time to see his last man that was guarding this door get show down. Sure enough, there stood the Red Hood, holding two pistols and moving towards the evidence room. An annoyed groan escaped Two-faces mouth as he decided how he was going to handle the situation. He flipped his coin with an internal debate in mind: bargain or try to kill him. Twof-ace looked at the coin when it landed in his hand. Scarface down. Bargaining it was.

"RED HOOD, WE SHOULDN'T BE AT ODDS," Harvey yelled from around the corner, knowing full well that it would not be wise for him to poke his head out when Red Hood had his pistols out. "I want to get rid of the clown just as much as you. I'm actually doing this to have enough funds to deal with the Joker and his men. His men tried to kill my wife a few weeks ago. I want him dead as badly as you." Harvey called out, glancing around the corner to see that the man was still holding his pistols. "Lets join forces, at least until the Clown is dealt with. With your abilities and my men and money, we will be unstoppable," Harvey said, keeping his back to the wall until Red Hood agreed. Harvey didn't trust him, and he really didn't feel like being shot.

Bring it on!

Well at the very least she wasn't going to waste his time with more idle flirts, d**k always loved a good fight. Especially one that tested his gymnastics and martial arts more so than his reliance on his weapons and gadgets. Catwoman's agility and dexterity, especially considering she was a woman which gave her more of an edge than a male, were parallel to none. Making her that much more of a challenge in the long run. Though its not as if Nightwing wasn't just as skilled he was an acrobat all his life after all. He was also not going to be a fool and underestimate Selina...

Nightwing simply leaned back to dodge Selina's kick, being mindful of their closed space he had to exercise caution in their melee. After all no need to break priceless artifacts. d**k in his position quickly counter attacked by swiftly executing a back-flip kick, knowing she would simply dodge it, d**k twirling his escrima sticks to channel his concentration, took the moment to try and decipher what Selina would do next...

Again Catwoman was as cunning as she was beautiful. With her you always had to expect the unexpected...

Any trick Batman taught him, she already knew, but that didn't necessarily mean she was going to underestimate him. He had abandoned the sidekick gig a while ago, even if it didn't exempt him from being a Bat brat.

xxxxxCatwoman took the opportunity, dodging left and then taking a few quick steps towards the wall then up and off of it, one of her long, toned legs swinging around towards Nightwing's head. It was a pretty even match, and while she did enjoy a fight, she'd have to end it quickly and get out with what she came for. It was just so hard to ignore the urge to have a little fun...

Harvey certainly knew how to round up a slew of men. For a moment he actually considered stopping his assault on the man's operation. Nah Jason liked to finish something to the end. That moment passed fairly quickly didn't it. Tumbling from one portion of the wall to the next he stayed out of sight. Carelessness would undoubtedly cause him some pain if he screw up. Mr. Harvey Dent, probably one of the only crime lords who asked questions first then shot next. Though from past experiences everything hinged on the flip of his coin. Nowadays everyone had a thing. Bullets flung in his direction as he stayed in cover. When he heard a cease in their firing Jason slightly leaned out to gain a peak of how many of them there were still. Again, Jason couldn't help but be amazed at how easily Two-Face gained followers. Currently Jason did not have enough ammunition to continue his frontal assault which meant that he would have to go hand to hand with these thugs.

Clenching both pistols Jason prepared to make a dash into the evidence room however he paused as a familiar voice beckoned to him. Ah so the big man himself decided to greet him. Jason felt honored. Peaked by the generous offer to join forces Jason wondered what the man's real reason was for this. Of course how could he pass up an opportunity to not only take down the one man he despised in all of Gotham but also gain access to a network of thugs and drug chains. "Unstoppable you say. There's only one problem. Gotham is infested with nocturnal creatures who prey on-" Jason's voice trailed off as he slipped the pistols into holster. Walking from cover he proceeded towards the direction of Harvey's voice until finally able to get a visual of him and his men. "Individuals like yourself." How many times have the Bat family stopped Two-Face? Then again how many times has the Big Black Bat himself stopped him? They were known for their tenacity and vigilance.

"So here's my revised proposal. I'll let you and your goons continue with whatever operations you initially had so long as you provide me with a couple things. First, information on there whereabouts of the clown. Simple enough right?" Walking as he spoke Jason noticed one of the men inching towards his direction until finally cocking the semi-automatic rifle and firing. Jason being nimble was able to dodge the shots before rushing over to the man. BAM. Fist flying right into the goon's face which sent him falling fast on his back. Picking up the rifle he continued. "Next I want full immunity from your punks. I'd hate to dispose of your man power since it seems like you'll be needing it. And thirdly, no one can know we're working together. It'll be easier to surprise the clown this way."

Jason eyed the truck as he slowly backed away from the men. To be greedy or not. Crossing Two-Face definitely would come in time but now wasn't such a good idea. Their newly formed alliance would have to mature before he could cheat him. "Deal?"

Aaaand snap went her grapple. Great.

Dillon’s eyes, still trying to regain focus, watched the hook clatter back as Alice kicked it. That’d been her last shot, really. Her head was throbbing, her eyes stinging…and her ears were ringing, almost like a sire--

Sirens.

Dillon’s eyes went wide. She was lying in a bank that had just been robbed, wearing a mask. Not good. By now, the woman was long gone, and the sirens were only getting closer. Shaking her head, Dillon desperately tried to clear it, scrambling to pick up her lightning rod and sheath it. She had to get out, now.

The new burst of adrenaline to her system helped clear her head some. Heart racing, Dillon scrambled up the way the woman had left through. Almost there. She could make it in time if --

As she reached the door, she was blinded by a spotlight. From down below, a man’s voice blared over a megaphone, telling her to drop her weapons and put her hands in the air. Dillon froze, panic setting it.

This can’t be happening…I can’t get caught, not like this!

As Dillon raised her hands slowly from her waist, she flicker her hand into the pouch on her belt, grabbing a handful of pellets.

Not how I saw tonight going, but…

With a flick of her wrist, the street below was littered with pellets. Before the policemen could return fire, smoke and flashing light erupted, filling the streets and blinding them. Wasting no time, Dillon made a mad dash in the opposite direction.

"Sorry!" She called back over her shoulder.

She just wanted to get home and forget she had ever put on this stupid costume.

'Woah...' Unfortunately at this moment Nightwing's gaze was currently traveling up the incoming leg directed at his face. 'Wait a minute... What am I thinking!?'

Too late for that. d**k found himself kicked into a nearby corner rather confused on what just happened. Did he just get kicked in the face? Not only was he now confused he found his pride compromised at the moment. Nobody he knew was going to let him live this blunder of his down for the longest time. At the very least he hoped he wouldn't have a bruise for anyone to question. 'Ugh... What just happened?' Despite being caught between a wall and an item in a glass display case, he should have had more than enough room to avoid Selina's attack... d**k's eye twitched for a moment as he sheathed one of his escrima sticks to feel the damage done to his cheek and mouth area.

Did he really get kicked in the face from checking out Selina? Why was he checking out Selina to begin with? Could it be the fact of the matter at hand due to him not getting any for the longest time he found himself enjoying the view? 'Really!? Alright Grayson focus!'

Sure he had made Barbara the object of his desire and affections... But she was totally worth it despite them taking a little bit to be official and him being left high and dry from their flirting... Drawing his escrima stick again, Nightwing twirled them effortlessly trying hard to get in the zone again. 'Alright lets try that again...'

The two obviously weren’t pleased with his plans. Truth was, neither was he. Steph was technically correct about the herbicide. The herbicide would definitely hurt Ivy like acid burning skin, even causing Ivy’s skin to temporarily scar with bark-like burns. Perhaps his method was a little too harsh. Too militant. Careless, even. He frowned, dissatisfied with himself as the team leader—and alright, a little disappointed that his plan was rejected. But it had been a while since he was a team player. Even longer since he worked with any member of the Bat-family. He had forgotten the rules, the morality, and even compassion. As Red Robin, he had been crossing lines that he wouldn’t even dream of as Robin…and that didn’t necessarily mean that he had to drag any of the Bats, especially Spoiler or Black Bat, down with him. Plus, Cass was correct. Ivy was difficult, but from personal experience, Tim knew that Ivy usually gave in whenever her plants were in danger.

“Alright, sounds like a plan,” Tim said, resigned. He wasn’t entirely too happy about this plan either. The situation would be entirely out of their control if Ivy wasn’t going to be cooperative, and if all things failed, they would need to improvise another plan on the spot. “Most likely, whoever is going to be in possession of the herbicide will be main target, and the last thing we want to do is play ‘hot potato’ with the herbicide. Spoiler, keep the herbicide hidden for now, while we negotiate for the hostages’ safety. I’ll be waving a decoy around, so in case I’m seized by Ivy, then both you and Black Bat can handle the situation. Also, I need either of you to take care of Harley. There’s a high chance that she is going to be our x-factor in the situation.” Definitely wasn’t pleased with the new plan. There were so many variables and reasons why this wouldn’t work out, especially if the herbicide was out of their possession. But, he had to admit that if they were successful, then they would be leaving the mall with the best outcome. “If things get out of hand, improvise.”

Peering at the green-infested mall, Tim could feel the unrest. Hopefully, Ivy hadn’t noticed their presence, but if that was the case, it meant they needed to get started, fast. He turned to both young women, feeling the weight of both their eyes boring on him. “We’re taking too much time. We need to get going.” He said, pulling out his grapnel gun and aimed towards the mall. He tried his best reassuring smile at the both of them, hoping to qualm their uneasiness. This was just Poison Ivy and Harley. They’ve dealt with the duo before, he reminded himself. “Don’t worry too much about it. We’ll have each other’s back.”

With the pull of a trigger, he swung off the building, towards the mall. Readying for an aerial entry into the building, he traveled slow enough for both Black Bat and Spoiler to catch up to him. “We have clear entry through the roof. Ready to move in?” he said into the com, waiting for their approval. Once he got their word, they would get started.
