The Avengers worked as a team for years, but as all humans (excluding Thor and Captain) do they grew old and the world needed a new team of Avengers. So Nick Fury's Grandson Mason Fury started the next generation. Some have been mentored by the original Avengers, others are children of the Avengers, and others are just new Avengers.
