hello! welcome to my chatroom, a lovely production brought to you entirely
by me, haurr, and our lovely co-owner, alligator mine. truth be told, i've
been away from gaia for a very, very long time, so i have absolutely no
idea what's going on around these parts. so i created a new account, you
know, start fresh. c: i used to be very active here, so chances are, you and
i met through my old account. i'm not telling you what it is, though! (guess
and you'll be instantly awesome.) i'm a fairly nice person and i like helping
people. i'm a huuuge pushover, so you don't have to worry about me being

and i believe it's been done three or four times already. still, i have not seen
it in a long time, and i always thought it was fun. basically, you take a song
and make a character based on that song. so it's kind of like an oc chat. not
too difficult, right? if you love music, and you love roleplaying, this is for you. ~

please be active. no hit and runs. there's no limit as to how many characters you can
take, but please make sure that you're actually gonna play them, and not just hogging
to be douche. 'if you won't be mine, you won't be anybody else's!' no. fail. >:c also, i ask
that you not take more than one song from a single artist. maaaybe two, if you give me
a good reason, and you ask nicely. c: have a pretty layout, no eye-raping colors, and blah
blah blah. u: you know all that. be somewhat literate. the odd spelling mistake here and

stay in character! i know not everyone sees a song the way others do, but if you have
half a brain, you won't make "creep" by radiohead a self-righteous egomaniac. & i get
that this is a song chat with your original characters and that you can do whatever the
hell you want with them, but BE REALISTIC! nobody's perfect, and nobody's the scum
of the world that nobody loves. please try to have some balance with your character's
personality. all sexualities are accepted. even hetero! :D speaking of acceptance
and equality - ALL SONGS ARE ACCEPTED! we aren't concieted hipsters here, so you
won't be judged on your musical taste. hell, you could have justin bieber and ke$ha on
here for all i care. and if you are a concieted hipster, please keep your opinions to yourself

i finally got around to making a thread for the long-awaited journals. it can be
found here. it was made in a rush, so if expect some changes in in the near
future. only about two people voted against journals, but please remember
that journals are 100 % optional, so it's fine if you're one of those two people. > u>

on a more pressing subject, our first profile clean out is coming up soon. yes,
yes i know; bitches and moans. i don't like it any more than you do, but it's
necessary. >Bl the clean out will take place a WEEK from now, so it'll be next
wednesday (18th of january of the present year). hopefully, i won't have to
delete too many profiles, as that is such a hassle. D; and it would be so much
easier on poor old pako if we didn't need to edit the taken list too much. ;u;

but there is some good news as well! at some point after our much needed profile
clean out, i will be rewarding the people who stay with an event! so stay tuned for

i'm really sorry about that! i'm sure i could give you many, many justifications
and reasons to my absence, but i'm sure - that would not change the situation.
all i can say is, i'm so sorry about it, i should have told you guys before poofing.
now that i have a more stable internet connection, as well as more time, i'm ready

seems to be in its right place. thank you to all the people who have decided to stay
with us. i will surely miss the ones that have left, but they are welcome back anytime,
of course. ^^

as i promised you guys, after silence will be having its first event! voting is now

*ball: title speaks for itself - all the lovely characters get invited to a ball.
time to bring out your sharpest tux and best party dress! it's not a rule, but it's
ballroom etiquette to bring a date. so... get cracking with those dates! but no
worries for our dateless ones; crashing the party with no one but just your
close besties is cool too. = u=b be there or be square! or, stay at home in your
dark, depressing corner of the anti-social. :P
- this event takes place offline.

*blind date: i put all your character's names into a hat and pull out a random
pair. the names chosen get to go on a blind date to an exciting place of my choice!
exciting, right? 8D will love blossom, or will they want to rip each other to pieces?
only time will tell! the only condition is that they HAVE to stay with their date for
the ENTIRE day. yupp. ~
- couples are chosen at random, no strings may be pulled unless you beg.
if you really want to change your date, take it up with me and i'll see what i can do.

*tipsy: looks like your character has had a bit to drink! what kind drunken of
shenanigans will they pull! let's just hope they don't make the biggest mistake of
their life. how this works: characters can only be drunk a certain period of time (at
your discretion). this is so that not everyone is drunk at the same time, but everyone
gets the chance to be both the embarrassing drinker, and the guy taking the pictures. c;

*zombie apocalyse: fairly straight forward. the world has gone to hell and your
characters have been broken up into teams of three (can be pre-planned or chosen
randomly by me). there's a warehouse somewhere with guns, ammo, food, medicines,
and most importantly, the antidote against this strange zombie virus. it's your job to
find the warehouse and reunite with the other teams - before it's too late!

*meet your master: nineinchnailsyesssss. ♥ basically, one character is a slave
and the other is the master. the slave has to do everything the master says, or attain
to the consequences, a punishment of the master's choosing ~ ifyaknowwhatimean. /shot.
