In the mist of a world unseen spirits, demons, ghost, and other myths have started an all out war to gain control of of the world of the Humans. One intens to take the humans and all who choose not to follow them as slaves while the other fights a genst them for both their freedom as well as those of their allies. As the war wages Humans who have the Sight have also been dragged into it. Now those who have the sight must join the fight or be killed.
Now it is up to you what you are and which side you shall be.

Ten Thousand Years Ago

Flames covered the compound where I lived. Everyone was running around in a frenzy as hunters attacked from all around. I clusly made my way towards the exit as more flaes came too life. Thump! A body landed in front of me. It was that of my father. "No..No it can be... d-d-dad? Father! No father wake up wake up!" I shook his still warm body trying to rouse him from his endless sleep but he was already gone. Quick I saw that he was wearing the family heirloom, the Sword Of The Great Dragon Emperor. I grabed it and made a run for it. 'Those Humans will pay. I sware you shall be avenged father. I sware.' Tears picked my eyes as I continued to run hate bulied in my heart as the flames lept higher into the night sky. Soon those humans would pay.

In a dark cave I planed and waited. Years past like days too me. Soon I felt it was time to set my plans into action. I looked around almost pitying the humans of toadys world. I took the time to remember how before my faimly was killed humans could freely see into our would and distingish fay from mortals, but we no longer have to worry about that. It seems as science improved they slowly stared to stop seeing what was truly infront of them. I shifted into my human shape. Now that they could no longer see glamor was rarely ever used. I pulled on a red tank, a leather jacket, and a pair of jeans and headed out. "Let's rock."

I wrote on a note quickly, and put it on the table. Lastly, I opened the door, and strolled out. ❞

I felt the wind brush by us as we flew through the skies above Tokyo. It was crowed and loud. The darkness from earlier had long scince retreated to it's home. Gin was asleep inside tierd from our flight here. I took refuge on a tree. Mentally I called out looking for someone to chat with. Children were the best for you became their imagnary friends adults not so much and teens were strange to say the least.

Ten Thousand Years Ago

It's working. I think to myself as I only emerge my head from the water. The heat almost singed my skin. I was looking at burning.. everything. What have I gotten myself into? Helping those humans... I submerged my head and retreated into the dark recesses of the murky lake, undiscovered by anyone, watching the humans reek havoc on those nasty creatures.

I sit by my lake, the lake I've had forever, and stare into the darkness of the water. I had on a white dress with etchings of blue graphics faintly on the bottom. As usual, I am barefoot, and therefore a 'savage' by most wanderers. Savage? I think not. I looked around and then smile. No one. I turned my attention toward my lake and raise my hands. I turn them in different directions, and little funnels of water rise from the water and move with my hands; a rhythmic dance. I've been helping the humans for as long as they've been on this planet. An element helping humankind? Very unheard of. Well, it's better than helping the nasty creatures that still lurk in the darkness.

I watched the elemental weave her water. I remember one living close to the compound at one point. I aproched it making my presence know to it. " Hello there. How is the water? Still poisoined as always?" I asked in obvious sarcasim. "How would you like to join me in stopping the humans misuse of your element?" I extended my invetaion. I didn't need trusted follwers I needed those with a reason to berid of the humans.

Humming an old curse in a song way, my lake started to glow a faint blue, having the curse take effect; anyone who is not welcome shall be poisoned. Almost finished, my trance was broken by a sudden voice. My eyes looked for the voice and got sharp once they found it. I dropped my hands and stood up. I was calm and collected, not trying to be courageous. I've been alive long enough to know that courage doesn't give you everything. I stare at the... creature. Definitely not human. A sly smile creeps across my face when he finishes talking. I put my hands together and just smile. "Your sarcasm does not make the current situation any better creature." I looked around and my smile grows as I remember a certain feature of the lake. "Alas, your words are full of things, lies perhaps, that I cannot decode. But as for your offer..." I shake my head. "I must decline. The humans have promised-" I wince. Someone threw something into water somewhere. I feel those things. "The humans have promised me clean water if...." I looked up and my eyes are cold as ice. "If I help destroy all of the creatures that try to kill them." I walk slow circles around the creature. "Hmm... your presence brings back humor to me. I have lived in this lake for as long as humans have been alive." I stopped water and move my hand toward the old compound. "You lived here.... did you not?" An evil smile crawled across my face, then vanished into a happy smile. I sat back on my rock and made the water rise again, dancing with my hands. I look over at the creature and shrug my shoulders. "But there is.. one thing I could make an exception for. But you must listen well." I say, my voice mature and strong.

I give a slight laugh. I was clear she was the one close to my home when it was burned. My voice took a bittersweet sound " You are mistaken if you belive I intend to kill the humans. If you have no intrest in what I plan to do then fine, but your wisdom I would like to hear." I looked to the blacked remains of my old home. Breifly I remember a girl we called Rain. she prefered it to her other one. " I remember you now. You never liked my kind much. I've always wondered why. We are technecally you cosins." I turned to the girl, waiting for her to speak.

I smiled softly. "You seem to have some wisdom yourself, child." I look up, then catch myself. "Sorry... I call everyone child since I'm older than most." I stand up and sigh. I turn toward the boy and listen to his words, decoding every syllable, part of a way of listening for me. When he spoke of remembrance, I smiled and my eyes turned a bright blue. "If you remember me, than you should know my name." I stood a distance away, but in front of him. I move my hand over my face and ten thousand years of aging, which for me doesn't make a very big difference, vanishes, revealing my younger face. The face I had when the compound was still around. "I am Audriana. Formally known as.." My hand flutters back up, making my new, mature face appear. "Rain." I said softly. I clasped my hands together and smirked. "Oh yes. Technically we are cousins. I choose not to believe, but it is true." I study him hard. "I do not like all of your kind. Most, I can deal with. It's the ones who terrorized me when I was younger that I cannot stand. You..." I purse my lips then tilt my head. "Oh you, I'm not so sure of. But I deffinately do not hate your whole kind." I turn, then remember my words. "Ah yes. My offering." I smiled softly. "If you can show me reasons why I should not work with humans, I shall join your little cause." I say 'cause' like I'm spitting out venom. "If you cannot, then I shall simply work with the humans like I have been." I let out a small sigh. "Truthfully..." A sad look moves to my face. "I haven't been out of this blasted lake, besides here, in ages. If the world truly has changed, and the humans kept their word, I would like to see it." I tilt my head forward slightly. "Do you accept?"

I whatched Rain change her face back and forth. Life at the compound was more of a blur now. I miss it but what is done is done. Hearing her offer I respond " I feel you should go out and see for youself what humans have done, but if you choose to work with them then I see no reason to change that. Of corse I would like to ascept your challange tho it may be completed latter. For now I will let you continue you job undisturbed."

I clicked my tongue and smiled. "You accept, yet you shy away from it. Oh my words might not make sense, I can tell, but in time they will." I walk to the edge of the lake. "My job?" My lips go dry for a moment. I laugh, and the water in the lake turns bluer- healthier. "I haven't had a job since the days of the compounds. I just sit out my days here. Tending to my lake." A fish rises to the surfaces, then sees the creature. It blows a bubble under water and darts back under. "You scare my fishes. No worries, however. Most things do." I turn back toward the creature. "I will go and see the world. But.." My face drains of it's color. "Since I am the last Water Element of my days, it is dangerous for me. Yes there are other water elements, but there needs to be a certain number and alas, I am the last of my family." I crack a smile and a faint rim of light surrounds me. "I will leave for a while." I turn away and my body flickers. My hair gets shorter, about shoulder length and chocolate brown. I appear in flip flops, boot cut jeans and a green sweater. My face turns to that of a 16 year old. A normal teenager. "Good day." My voice sounds like a 16 year old's too. I turn slightly and smile. "And uh... I suggest you don't go in my lake unless you would like to die." Just then, a squirrel jumps into my lake and turns to smoke. I pout. "My point is made." I wave and smirk. I walk from the forest, just a normal girl.

I watched Rain go. ' I might as well head her warning.' Turning around I face the lake. ' Or be stupid and see what happens.' I thought as I dipped a finger into the lake. It burned away like the squirle had but as soon as I took it out it grew back. " well aren't I a lucky fellow. I seems I got the family trait of regeneration as well as fire." Standing I changed into my dragon form and took to the skies. It was time to retire for now.

As I thought. The humans did take care of my waters! But yet, I spoke too soon. I was about 5 miles from the city- I had done exploring and was very happy with the outcomes. They held parades in honor of every element! Except darkness, however. But anyway, 5 miles from the city and ten feet from my lake- when I got a sharp pain everywhere on my body. Someone poisoned a nearby lake- a very big lake- and started to pour toxins? I couldn't believe it. The humans promised me they would always keep my waters clean. My sight became blurry. I've never experienced toxins before and whatever effects my waters unfortunately effects me. I stagger and fall. My elemental form appears- ground length hair, barefoot, and a white dress. I quickly crawl to the lake and slip in. My only rescue. In the water, I made my final decision. I heard voices coming through the woods- two similar ones. The humans who know about me. I crawl from the lake, my eyes cold as ice. "Audriana-!" I stare daggers and stand my ground. "For centuries I've helped your kind. You repay me with toxins?" I didn't know what was happening, but I didn't fight it. I kept it going. I stepped forward and got angrier. "We-we don't understand what you're saying.." Lies. Complete and utter lies! How dare they?! I wave my hand and my water, my cursed lake water washes over the two. They start to burn and I turn away. "I've made my choice." I stare into the sky and speak in ancient elemental language, which my family knew as Latin. "Aliis hominibus semel mendaciis elementa vicerunt, non respicere vel non minuit. Si putas mendacium sunt ultra, nos sunt severly seducendos. Homines vixit centuries. Sed tempus novi saeculi. Sine homines! Elementa non timebunt. Non iterum. Eligo bellum hominibus!" I spoke with such strength, I could feel the air shift around me. I spoke simple, in my own words.Once the humans overcame the elements and other creatures with lies, they did not even look back at the damage they did. If you think lies are beyond them, we are severly mislead. Humans lived for centuries. Now it is a time for a new age. Without humans! The elements are not to be fooled. Not again. I choose to fight the humans!
