(( Sam just left the room. She's about to go in to another door. ))

Sam looked inside. "Should I go in? Looks spooky." Sam said, in a small voice. "Of course! Why not? I thought Sam LIKED spooky and mysterious stuff." Sam now said in a larger and lower voice. She entered, and the door behind her slammed. She looked at it then tried to open it. "It's locked! SOMEONE LET ME OUT!!" Sam said while pounding the door with her palms. She soon gave up, then looked forward. She seemed to have the urge to come forward, like wind pushing her that way. Sam hesitated, then continues walking down the hall.

"Love everyone..."

After a few moments of humming, without being approached by anyone, the winter-clad woman fell silent, one hand sliding across the surface of her violin. Resting on the neck, she lifted it from her lap and set it in the crook of her neck, the other hand lifting the bow and setting it to the strings. The Gastly froze as it passed over the instrument, staring down and chuckling. That sound fell away as well as she played one long, quivering note, though the actual volume was lower than might be expected. Whether this was out of respect for the people in the room or simply the way that note was to be played was a mystery.

"And kill all these ********]

The room's smoke got thicker as the other older trainers conversed with themselves filling the room with a stench, but they didn't notice anything unusual happening as though it wasn't there.

Sparx looked up at the boy as he spoke to her and sat down.
When he clicked a pokeball she looked at it at first.
The Pikachu was curious to what he might do.
As the Pokeball clicked open, Sparx waited nervously.

You never knew what could come out of it.
When the Lucario knelt next to her and started to clean her fur with a strange blue glow, Sparx smiled again.
"Chaaa." she said enjoying the clean sweep.
Sparx waited till she was done and looked up at her in admiration.

Thank you Lucario, feels alot better. I was climbing trough a shaft to get here. she spoke to the Lucario.
The Pikachu also thanked the boy for the help, yet she knew he couldn't understand now.
My name is Sparx and I came from the Kanto Region. she introduced herself.
Then she bowed thankfully to both.

Lucario bowed in return, while Ethan merely nodded. He then returned to his own thoughts. A cool, female voice filled Sparx's mind.
" I am Lucario, from the Sinnoh region. I am speaking to you telepathically. It's been a while since I could climb through shafts. "
Lucario sat down in front of the Pikachu and smiled at her.

Sparx smiled and sat down again aswell.
Lucario seemed fun to talk with and she felt curious to her.
When she heard her voice in her mind she laughed in her own way.

We are both Pokemon, we don't need to talk with telepathy.

Pikachu sounded young, playful and bashful.
I haven't seen many like you. Are you a legendary Pokemon? I'm from the Kanto region. she answered.
Little did Sparx know about Lucario, so she didn't know he wasn't legendary either.
Rare, but not legendary, Sparx just didn't know that.

I usually don't climb trough shafts, but I tried calling, no one opened.
I thought it maybe was empty and uninhabited.
she explained.
Sparx looked up to Lucario, her eyes obviously showing admiration and curiosity.

((I hope bashful is the right word.))

Sam looked around the old hallway. Nothing unusual, yet. She took out two pokeballs then opened them. Out came flareon and combusken. She continued on, with those two pokemon behind her.

((Like Rujak, I'll be back tomorrow smile
Night))

In the illuminated hallway was a dark hanging ball shaped thing near the end of the long stroll. There was a another door at the end which could be seen even though the lighting was dim. However, the thing hanged motionless, the moon's glow did not increase the visablity of the limp object.

Sam kept walking until she saw a door. Combusken winced a little bit, but Sam ignored him. She put her hand on the doorknob, and looked at her pokemon in a now-I'm-going-to-open-the-door-of-wonder. Which was stupid, of course. She then opened it without hesitation.

(( Good night to you two. ))

Sighing, the spotted panda scratched her ear then turned, ready to leave. From the top of her head she saw no way to get inside without causing too much of a racket, so she might as well leave.

Lifting her foot she took the first step, preparing to head down the small staircase and move around the mansion to continue on towards the next town. That is until her ears twitched, catching a loud, nearby sound, followed by a soft breeze. "... Huh?" Turning towards the noise she saw the doors had creeked open, wide enough for the small pokemon to walk through without trouble. Her spiraled eyes blinked. Why had they opened now? Why not when the Pikachu had called and when they had both been standing here together? ... She had no idea.

"H-hello?" The little Spinda called, peeking in through the open doors to see what was inside and who had opened them for her. How had they even known she was there? Surely, she wasn't that loud... Hell, she wasn't loud at all; her voice was often quiet, soft... almost shy. However, to Tsuki's surprise she saw no one as if the doors had opened on their own. She gulped, ghosts coming to mind. If there was any pokemon she was scared of right of the bat, it was ghost types. After all, they were dead, and so they couldn't die a second time... plus, naturally they often looked creepy and the majority of them were larger than her anyway.

Still, although she was frightened, just like the idiots in the horror movies who steadily creeped towards their demise however obvious it seemed not to go there, Tsuki stepped inside. Quickly the thought of ghosts had slipped from her mind and she began to think of food, how there was only one thing standing in the way of her tummy and delicious fruit and sweets-- directions. Rather than pay much attention towards anything else she began to sniff the air with her tiny little nose, in an attempt to find a fresh scent. She found none...

"I guess I'll just have to look then..." She muttered quietly to herself, steadily growing a little more scared at the darkness that loomed in the area. Who knew what could be lurking in those shadows around her... With an uneven sigh, she softly patted her cheeks with her paw as if to snap herself out of her fear, and began to try and search for the kitchen.

Beyond that door was a very dark room, where the only light was coming from the other room. The floor could only be seen and it would have felt unstable...

"The smoke in this room is getting worse," Jordan said softly to himself. He had arrived a bit earlier than the ones that came in. The conversations of the collecting trainers grew in envy and jealousy as they talked. The smoke grew worse but there was not smoking in the room, no presense of a cigar or pipe. Not even a flame.

icey sleet icey sleet (( 12 )) days and counting . . . . . .

❝ Hey. Do you understand? ❞ icey sleet icey sleet

The restless children sit and mourn the graves
Of those they've never seen before....

The one note was drawn out, fading into the haze-filled room before being followed with another one, higher pitch this time, quivering. At first it seemed she was going to draw it out just as long as the previous one, but with a deft movement of her right arm the bow was sent dancing across the strings, cutting the second note off and instead launching into a quiet, calm melody. As she played, she began to sway in her seat, eyes firmly closed. The Gastly floated up above her head, glancing around, completely unaffected by the smoke in the room and keeping an eye on the room in place of its trainer.

Will they be buried here among the dead?

Finally! The little Spinda thought, a wide grin spreading across her face. She had reached the kitchen- she wasn't at the door yet but she knew it was there, she could smell the food. Taking a few silent paces closer towards the scent, she peeked her head in, taking a quick glance around to see if she saw anyone. Again, to her surprise, she saw not a single soul. She blinked. This place really was pretty empty... she shrugged it off.

"Yay, foooood..." Tsuki giggled, and danced on the way inside the kitchen, holding her short arms out to each side of her, wearing a goofy grin. She looked around to see what was available. She could see some fruits sitting in a basket on one of the counters, and unfortunately she couldn't reach the coverts to see what was inside... Something did catch her eye, though, almost immediately.

        A cookie jar.

"COOKIES!" The little panda shouted, without meaning to and she quickly realized her mistake. Her paws rushed to her face and cupped over her mouth, her body falling still as if every single muscle in her body had been tightened to the max, leaving her paralized. She stood like that for a while, and when she figured that she was still safe, she gave a sigh of relief and let her hands, err... paws, fall.

Her eyes glued themselves back onto the cookie jar she saw sitting on the counter, at least a foot taller than her. There was no way she could reach it standing on her tip-toes... She blinked, and looked around. Maybe there was a chair or something she could stand on to reach it. Whatever she had to do, she was going to make sure that she did get at least one of those cookies...
