To whom it may concern,
Eternal Nexus now has specifically created a literate subforum for more specialized roleplayers. Currently we are looking for roleplayers interested in joining and at least being consistent in their posts. All details can be found HERE, and we encourage you to come in and take a look. The entrance fee to the guild is 10 gold, which means if you post at least once you will get your money back. Currently the subforum is still under construction, but if you are interested, we could always use an extra helping hand in its construction. If you are interested in jointing, please send a request in to the guild, or send me, deadzonedragon, a private message, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you for considering, and I hope to see you soon!
Peace,
dzd

Hello all gaians. This is an important message for all roleplayers interested in finding an RP guild to join. My guild, Eternal Nexus, is in desperate need of new roleplayers. Please take a look around, the entry fee is only 10 gold (meaning if you post once anywhere you'll get your money back), and there are lots of RPs to choose from. If you are a seasoned roleplayer, you can come in and post to your liking. But, if you are new at roleplaying, we also have a training subforum for your use specifically. Please, if you are at all interested, request to join.If you have any questions, send me a message.
Thanks for your time,
dzd

Running a search over the available Genesis files, Suno warily maneuvered her way onto the Genesis database. A lot of the attachment links were blocked, so she took her time to make her movements look slow and purposeful. In the mean time, she was entering code to bypass the firewalls the site provided, slowly needling her way into their system. When at last she could maneuver about the databases without problem, she searched for all of their information about their subject.
She swore more frequently as time passed, because it seemed that Haine's files had been purposefully removed from the CGE databases.
She paused a moment. What did "CGE" mean anyway? What most people didn't realize was that it stood for Central Genesis Experiments... what if Haine hadn't been a central experiment? From his description, he seemed to have been built pretty precisely. Perhaps... perhaps there was an entirely different branch of Genesis that no one knew about, that specialized in utilizing the CGE's generalized projects, that put the successful experimented traits into fruition.
Backing up to the central database, Suno sighed, seeing the scroll bar on the side of her screens shrink. It would take a long time, but if it meant finding out just what the Genesis had in the blueprints, it would be worth the lack of sleep.
--------
Tapping his foot on the floor, Haine fidgeted. He hated feeling like this. It was like having someone stare at the back of your neck, and even though you know that someone is there you can't move. He rose, pacing around the room as he listened to the sounds of the slums around him.
All of it irritated him.
As much as he hated to admit it, he missed the quiet halls of the laboratory, missed the clean facilities in which his abominate being had been created. But what he did not miss was the blood, the gaps of time that would go missing from his mind as the world went on beyond his protective walls, without him.
And in the comparison of those two things, he found losing the quiet and peace worth having seen the sun rise and set in person.
Deciding he couldn't stand cooping himself up any longer, Haine strayed out of his parlor and up onto the roof of the building, sitting on the smokestack and pulling out a cigarette from his pocket. Plucking out a silver lighter from an inner pocket on his jacket, he lit up the small vice, watching a red moon peak over the horizon as darkness settled over his slums.

Suno sat at her desk, numerous holographic computer screens cast up over her keyboard, on which her hands sat, her fingers flicking at the keys with expert knowledge and precision. She glanced down at the manila folders sprawled out on her desk every so often, interpreting and entering the data that she had just received. If all went according to plan, once she was done assorting the information into a formatted file, the data banks in their world wide computer would summarize the rest of the known information about the submitted file.
She'd been put on this case with the knowledge that she got the job done no matter what, and even though it was a case with a low hope factor, she still held a bit of resilience in her heart. If no one else could do it, that didn't mean that she couldn't. Her predecessors on the case had given it up on sight, or after the insertion of the data into the search engine. They assumed that often if the search engine couldn't find anything, they couldn't either.
She held no such beliefs. She used the search engine as a tool, and when it failed she went back to the old fashioned way of working: a little elbow grease and a lot of perseverance. So as she finished the report and entered the given data, she wasn't surprised when the search came up relatively blank.
She swore, but she wasn't surprised.
Packing up the files and locking them away in her desk, she began to compile the information into one pamphlet that she could carry with her when she went out into the field. Which, with this current case, was what she wholeheartedly intended to do.
After all, no one had seen the Genesis Superweapon and walked away alive.
--------
The sun glinted off of the cracked glass windows of the lower slums of the city, casting fiery reflections as the glowing orb died to the forces of night. He walked quietly, his coat around his ears, towards the run down remains of what was now his fighting arena. He'd escaped the Genesis facility some months ago, and the only way he had managed to stay free since then was to hide himself away from the eye of any person higher than a slumdog. And, of course, he had to become a slumdog to do so.
The role fit him surprisingly well.
His ruby eyes glinted as he stepped inside, his guards stepping back out of the doorway upon his recognition. They stayed silent, and he could feel their eyes following him as he ventured upstairs. Once back in his home, the balcony suite of a carved out theater, he let himself settle.
He looked over the arena below, staring at the small section of stage that remained. It was corded off, for the sake of keeping the audience out of the ring. The seats had been torn out long ago, the metal smelted from their remains used to reinforce the building's failing integrity. Now, not even gale force winds could blow it down.
He sat down in his recliner, facing the outside as night descended. He let out a stiff breath. The news that had reached him was not favorable.
If the Genesis and the Exodus were after him, he was in serious trouble.

Back Story:
Created by the Genesis clan to be the ultimate weapon, he escaped two months ago when the labs were raided. So far he's been able to keep the Cerberus away, but doesn't know how much longer he can last without letting it loose. By restraining his powers and lying low in the slums of the city, he's unknowingly killing his body, which eventually will be overridden by the suppressed hormones. But slowly, unbeknownst to him, his two sides are slowly merging, fusing into one whole personality. He fights against the Cerberus because he believes that during the last bout with him, the Cerberus killed the people that came to steal him from the Genesis labs, and that the two of them are still separate. Needless to say, he does not know that that is no longer the case.
Personality:
He has become a rather edgy person in his months by himself. He's learned to milk the slums for what they can do for him, and has a reputation for being strategically ruthless. He still has his beliefs, but has found that putting them aside for the sake of his survival is the only way he can live.

The Story
Once upon a time, mankind allowed his race to be overrun and destroyed by an all-consuming lust for war. Now, in the year 2230, a new regime has come to power. They rule by a different kind of war: two primary families vie for control of the city in an underground war. Using the latest technology and gambling with human lives, they have manufactured mutants, fusing incredible powers onto human frames. New generations of mutants have now emerged, endowed with their own unique powers. For the most part, these mutants are bred by the "families". and trained for use in their wars. However, several escaped mutants have reproduced, and their children, now hiding amongst an oblivious humanity, are in high demand in the underground black market.
Above this hellish nightmare, the average citizen remains utterly oblivious to their fellow's suffering. They have neither heard of nor seen war in centuries.
But now the war is reaching its boiling point, bubbling upward and reaching the city. Signs of unrest grow by the day. The time has come to end this war once and for all.
A group of rejected and escaped mutants and experiments have banded together to bring about what they call Judgment Day; a day of carnage to bring the guilty to task. Judgment Day is fast approaching. Where will you be standing when it arrives?
