I see no problem with it, as long as you didn't push a canon love interest out of the way so your OC could get some sweet canon character lovin'. As long as the story's well written and believable, you've done nothing wrong. biggrin And don't get too worked up about it. Fanfic is supposed to be fun!

Just go with the flow, end the chapter when it feels like it's over. I mean, one of my favorite books has a chapter that's three sentences long and another that's almost 25 pages. There's really no limit.

It all depends on how it's written. I've seen a few good crossovers with 3 different fandoms, but above that is pushing it. Unless, of course, it's something like Justice League America, which is basically a crossover of every DC comic. But that's comic books, not fanfic.
