Seth had never actually had been swimming before. He wasn't quite sure what to do. "Uh..I'll see you later" he said turning on the ball of his foot and starting to walk away towards the school once again. After walking for a few momemts he looked at the woods. The whispers still puzzled him. He wondered if Angel might know what he was talking about. Seth deliberated for a few moments and then walked back in the direction of the lake. On the way he wondered if the whispers had been his true parents.

"Of course she had loved you, a mother's love is unquestionable. She may have hated you but you were still a 'part' of her. Could you honestly hate yourself because you didn't like your haircut? It sounds funny I know but it's as true as she gave birth to you." Seth sat down on the swing next to Angel and paused for a moment before speaking. " I guess we should be friends or something huh..." he said with a small awkward chuckle trying to break the ice a little. Humor wasn't something he knew very well. Although he had had 'fun' times with Ella she was still and old witch and he a vampire. Humor seemed to escape them both at all costs.

Angel had gotten up and left the room during the rage only he seemed to share with himself. "Now look what you did!" he hissed and ran after his new 'sister'. He realized he had to calm down but the girl was as smart as a dog. Seth found Angel sitting on a swing. He slowly walked over to his new sister. "I'm sorry Ella hated you. It just doesn't seem like her to me." He looked into her eyes as he spoke this time. "Ella was wrong for hating you but I know she must have loved you. She left me a letter..." Taking the letter out of his pocket he handed it to her.

He heard a someone enter the room. Turning to face them he noticed it was a girl. "What?!?" he yelled with eyes as cold as ice. "What do you mean is this a 'bad' time??? Im sitting next to a crying girl talking about how her mother hates her!" A bad time! This girl had the brains of a human! If this is what the other races have come to Seth was surely more intelligent. Even a member of the human race might have been smarter than this girl. "What do you want!?!" he hissed between his fangs. "What is it?" he said again after composing himself.

Ella hate her own daughter? Now Seth was really angry. He composed himself and started to speak. "Why would she hate you?" He asked the girl as simply as he had asked to borrow a pencil. "I just can't see Ella hating you for what you are... She was better than that." Seth heard a whisper behind him but didn't move this time. Angel had to reaction so she must not have heard it as well. Then he heard it again. He turned and crouched at the same time ready to fill something with hollowpoints.

With a big sigh he knew he had to make things right with Ella. Seth stood up, unlocked his door left his room. Walking donw the old stairs he scanned for the girl to see if she was near. He didn't see her, so he looked inside the lunchroom. Again he didn't see her there. After wondering around the school for what seemed like hours he finally found her, Anglel. She was sitting at a table with a locket clutched in her hand sobbing. Next to her was a old book with a picture not far in even worse condition. Seth assumed it was a picture of Ella. He walked over to her and sat down. " I'm sorry..." he said looking down not sure how to feel.

Seth sat next to his bed and picked up the old worn box. A name was carved into it and enlayed with gold leaf. It read "For My Special Boy." A tear escaped his left eye as he opened the box. Inside was a letter from his beloved Ella. Unfolding the letter he started to read, fast at first but then slower as he realized the truth infront of him. Ella had had a daughter. Her name was Angel... Included was a photograph taken from a few years ago. On the back of the tattered picture it read "This is my daughter Seth, take care of her for me. Don't make the same mistake I did." He didn't like the idea still be he had to listen to Ella.

"Ella's daughter!!??!!" Seth was outraged at such lies! " Impossible Ella told me she had been alone her whole life. She was abandoned as a baby like I was! " he yelled at the girl. He refused to believe such a thing. Ella wouldn't lie to him...Would she? No his whole life Ella was all he knew and he was all she knew. If she was Ella's daughter where was she when she died? Where was she while Ella was so ill she couldn't even do magic or move????!!!!! Seth couldn't believe what was happening. The girl looked just like Ella but...No it can't be true. He struggled with his feelings and then ran out of the room. Racing to his dorm, Seth knocked over someone as he bumped into them. He climbed the stairs and opened his door. It closed with a loud thud! and Seth ran over to his bad. Ella said when the time was right to look inside the box he would know. He knew this was certainly the time.
