Well, she colored it in, but she didn't color the skirt in, maybe that's why it looks different? Or it was, you know, a sketch. Might also possibly be the back-view. I don't own one so I can't check.

It looks a LOT like the designer gowns from Gaia Prom to me. I doubt that Christian guy knows how to do pixel art. He probably made his fashion design sketches, someone converted those to Gaia avatar proportions, like we see here, and from that the pixellation was created.

But that's all speculation on my part. Still reminds me very much of the so-called "onion dress" from the cash shop if I recall. Would make sense for a popular artist (ie pepper-tea) to make a cash shop item. But I'm sure if she wanted to make a beautiful gown she could do so for the urn! Something with the feathers could be really pretty. 3nodding

The earring thing is kind of odd I suppose but I like how it looks, so I threw it on. Also, it seems to layer with other earrings?? You can't see it well because one side is blocked by the cape, and the other by my bangs. You might be able to make some fun combos, though perhaps not on the epic scale of buki's slippers.

I'm not sure I like the little hole in the wrapping of the turban. I don't really like my hair showing through, but those of you with white hair I think it looks okay on. I like the body wrap, though I wish it'd remove the default underwear. emo I almost had an outfit made with a white/gold/orange theme, but I got an award earlier for this avatar (well, perhaps before the coocoon evolved) and I really like it, as opposed to the one I was making which I didn't think felt as Halloween-spirited enough.

I've liked the evolutions recently, they just haven't had the right mood for what I wanted to wear. If the urn got done by the end of October I could see myself equipping some of the darker earlier poses. Plus there's been all this new stuff (and leaks) so that it's hard not to get distracted. Actually I'm almost glad I don't have much pure, so I can't run out and spend 100k on stuff I'd only use for 3 weeks. sweatdrop

ontopic: I love the minievo! I'm not terribly fond of turbans but I like this one better than the lotus ones. I also love gold and white, so I'm sorry to see you don't like it. sweatdrop

I like the ear dangle thing, it doesn't seem to go in the same slot as earrings, as I can see by the orange pumpkin on my other ear. Might make for some cool layering biggrin

I'm sure I'll make a really pretty outfit with the wrap, I saw someone using it nicely already. I'm just not ready to give up my halloween colors right now. And I also have to leave soon.

Lanzer seemed pretty final in the AtA that this year wouldn't be werewolves. I don't really have any big hope for Halloween, in terms of skins/plot. All I know is that they'll release some fun new items, there'll be some kind of event for me to poke around in, and if I'm lucky the manga will get done on time and be up to read. 3nodding Same applies for every year.

They should just leave those space monster masks out of boxes...no body ever uses or wants them. Thanks for the list, I've added the few I like to my wishlist. If they're still appealing in a few days I'll see about snagging one. Ha, if I get gold saved up and their prices come down.

I recall getting an nightmare headband from a pink giftbox back in '03 or '04, and selling it for like 50k, it was the most money I ever had. I used it to buy like 3 kimonos and an OMG (for 7k). I've had the boots for a long time, so I'd love to complete the set. As I recall the dark halo has a spin-off (perhaps alruna as well) so I'd certainly not pay 100k for the bustier. I'm all for the unraring. It's not an item I think people have invested in heavily. "FOMG my bustier horde is worth nothing!!" yeah, that won't happen.
edit: actually, I don't remember the exact amount, maybe it was 20k. But it was a lot back then. ^^;;

This is probably old news, but according to the latest AtA they at least have someone thinking about the issue, though not to the fixing stage yet. So, the left-out poses are not forgotten. 3nodding

I think this argument could be applied to any item. I mean, GCD mage was wanting a bent witches style hat in yellow. We got pink and red and patterned instead. Cube wants a werewolf skin, but if it's lame? Well, he'd probably still use it, but might switch off with the set. Same with Loki and a squid/other sea creature skin.

If someone likes it, it's a good item, imo. I'm horrified by the clown masks, but that doesn't mean they're a bad item, just not to my taste. smile Even the inari colors which I despise, still make a few items look decent.

*opens Windows Magnifier* Ah, yeah, if you see that dot as their eye/head, it does look like a leaning down & left peacock/phoenix, the big feathers being their tail feathers. 3nodding
