                        Hisoka Zuriel

The Feared Stone-Faced Admiral of The HMS Excessum

Zuriel had left the ship nearly an hour ago and right now, instead of perusing the goods that the small port had to offer, he found himself being babysitter for the men on his ship. He had told them many times before that if they slacked off or made fools of themselves, him or the ship then they would pay with either there careers or lives. He had already sent 4 men back to the ship for their absolutely disgusting behaviour in town. Walking down the main street, Zuriel decided that he had had enough of the useless town and that it was time for him to head back to the ship. Besides, it was nearly "curfew" time for his crew and if anyone dared to come back even 1 minute late, they would be thrown off the ship, with nothing but the clothes that they were wearing on their back. Just as he was about to walk up the ramp to his ship, Zuriel heard sounds of rowdy sailors coming from only a short distance away. Zuriel distinctly remembered one of the voices. It was Peterson. The stupid idiot always got them into trouble and if it wasn't for the fact that his father was high ranked in the navy, then Zuriel would have had already kicked him off at the first stop. The man was stupid and too up himself. He refused to listen to Zuriel's commands and Zuriel had had enough. If that man was doing anything now that so god help it, his father might never see him again. Insignificant p***k.

Walking around a corner, Zuriel was greeted with the site of three man from his ship circling around what looked to be like a noble lady. Great. If that lady complained that those men would wish that they were in rotting away in prison cells. Approaching carefully, Zuriel cringed at the mens outdated attempts of trying to flirt with the girl. Even he felt sorry for the poor girl and that was enough, not to mention he had heard them give away facts about him and his ship nearly five times already. That was it! No he was furious. Screw Peterson's father. These men were not leaving this port on his ship. That Zuriel knew.

"Seamen!" Zuriel watched as the three men promptly stopped at the sound of his voice before they turned around, faces pale, and rushed to stand at attention in front of him. Zuriel waited a few minutes, just staring at them as the three men in front of him shivered in fear, before he spoke again. "Give me your weapons. All of them. Now.""But Admiral sir ---""I said NOW seaman!" Zuriel wasn't a patient man and right now, these man were pissing him off badly. He watched as they quickly stumbled to get all their weapons and put them in his hands. Zuriel made sure that not one of them came into skin to skin contact with him. Once he had gathered all their weapons, Zuriel proceeded to place them around his form in his belt and holder. Once finished he looked up at the seamen again. "Get out of my site you worthless filth. You are stripped of your ranks and are no longer part of the Navy. I suggest you get out of my line of site before I change my mind." Zuriel watched as the men scrambled of in a hurry, tripping over their feet on the way down the docks, shouting at each other to run faster. A small movement from the corner of his right eye got his attention and although he didn't show it on the outside, he was surprised to find that the lady he had supposedly rescued was still standing there. Turning his back to her, Zuriel started walking away and back to his ship, leaving her with one last comment. "Go home lady. You're a sitting duck out here."

Roy "Smokin" Ravenhook

The Educated Navigator Of The Implacable

"You only had to ask you know…" Relief flooded through Roy as Sam hugged him in return and pushed a few of his locks behind his ear. Thank goodness! Sam was alive and he was well (or so he looked at that moment). "Though I think you should actually rest for the time being." Roy felt Sam lift him up from the ground and onto the bed, Sam's hand staying on his leg. But he didn't want to sleep at the moment. if he slept then Roy felt like he would wake up and only find out that this had been a dream and Sam wasn't alive anymore. he wouldn't be able to handle that. He couldn't. There was no way that this Sam, real or not, could make him go to sleep. He let one hand stray onto Sam's uniform, clutching the cuff off the hand on his leg - he refused to let it go. No-one could make him let it go. "Maybe getting you something to eat might do you some good." Roy liked that idea a lot better than the other one. Plus it seemed that Sam had perfect timing because as soon as he said those words, Roy's stomach rumbled in hunger and he couldn't help but let a slight pink tinge appear on his face. Stupid stomach had a mind of its own.

                                        "Come."
Roy looked up as Sam stepped away from the bed, his cuff slipping between Roy's fingers before he motioned for the other man to follow him. Roy watched as the other man slowly started walking away and he couldn't help but thinking about how most dreams end like this. Someone starts walking away and you can never catch up to them again. He didn't want that to happen. He wanted to stay with Sam; he needed Sam. Pulling himself up again, Roy swung his legs over the side of the bed, letting a small grunt out from the effort. Rising to his feet again, Roy looked at the other man walking towards the hospital door. "Sam. Wait up you idiot. You're walking too fast!" Okay, so what came out of his mouth wasn't exactly what he had pictured himself to say but he couldn't help it. He had to act more tough around the man otherwise he could lost the respect that Sam had given him. Walking slowly, Roy finally caught up with him before he pulled his hand up and gave Sam a small smack on the head, not that it would do much damage anyways.

"Blubbering fool. You shouldn't turn your back on an injured man!" Turning away from Sam, Roy walked up to the doors that separated him from the rest of the ship. Man, this stupid infirmary stank, and it stank bad. He pushed the door open and started to walk out, not recognizing that Sam was now walking next to him. He couldn't believe that he had just smacked Sam; sure he had done it many times before but was it really appropriate then and there? Oh well, screw it. To him, it was only important that Sam was safe and that he hadn't been taken prisoner by the navy - it was all safe that way. He doubted that a small bruise, like the one he had probably just made, could even hurt Sam.

                                        [x OOC x] - Arggg!! I'm really sorry Sugary - I have no ideas.

It’s amazing I can't even close my eyes
To hide away, from the fear
Although I try I’m losing my whole life
My conscious now, is clear

                        Keigo Ashida

The Kindhearted Captain of the Leviathan

It came to no surprise to Keigo when the commodore turned pirate did not answer his question but rather, approached him, picked him up and placed him on the bed again. Not giving any reaction to the man, he paid him no attention as he wound was restitched and then bandaged up again as the tears continued to stream down his face. They just wouldn't seem to stop and little sobs accompanied them. Keigo's eyes snapped into the other man's indigo eyes that twinkled as his lips were captured and another tongue brushed against his in a brutal kiss. He tried struggling against the older man but he did not have enough energy left to do anything that actually worked. The other man was just to strong. He couldn't believe that this was the same person that his adoptive father or Tou-san as he called him, had tutored. "Go to sleep princess. Or i'll keep doing that again and again until you listen like a good boy y'hear?" Keigo didn't utter a word as the man stood up without bothering to put a shirt on him again before he found himself tucked into the bed. He went to give the man a questioning look but all he could see was the man's back. "You'll soon learn that there's no such thing as good in this world." Keigo didn't want to listen to the man's words anymore. How could he believe anything that he said. He was a traitor! The man had back stabbed the one person who had taken care of him after his real parents had died and his had been taken captive. He couldn't believe this man was the same person he met when he was a younger boy. He just couldn't be. It didn't make sense. He remembered the kind teenager who his Tou-san had tutored and he couldn't understand how he had turned out like this. Sure, he remembered that he was always a bit on the crazy side but he didn't remember him being this crazy. As he thought, Keigo found that his eyes slowly started to droop and it wasn't long before he drifted off to sleep, only managing to utter to one word as he went. "Nii-san."

Keigo was not gifted with a dreamless sleep. The fates had decided that he should remember his past in more detail.

                        -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A smaller and considerably younger Keigo could be seen sprinting though brightly lit hallways that were furnished by expensive carpets and ornate sword and vases. Turning right at the end of the corridor, a bright light could be seen as the end. As the young Keigo burst into the the bright light, a brilliant smile on his face, a lush green field was revealed. The younger Keigo slowed down as he realised that his father was not alone. Not caring that much, Keigo rushed forward again, towards his father and grabbing his leg as soon as he reached him. "Tou-san! Tou-san! Mr Zuriel Senior is here to see you." Keigo was a little child after all, and did not mind that he had just interrupted the two. His father gave a small chuckle as the young boy held on tighter as the unknown figure approached, his eyes curiously peeking at the other man from behind his father's leg. "Don't be shy Keigo m'boy. Say hello. This is my student Nate," said his father as he pushed Keigo in front of him, his hands on the younger boys shoulders, keeping him from running away and presenting him to the other man's eyes. Looking up shyly at the other person, Keigo let out a small, shy, "Hello." The other teenager just gave him a small but creepy smile in return. His father gave him a small push forward and Keigo found himself being stopped by the teenager's arms. "Nate, I am sorry for interrupting your lesson but can you please take care of Keigo for a moment whilst I go talk to Lord Zuriel? I don't want Keigo anywhere near the man. Don't let him out of your sight." After receiving a nod from the teenager the older man left and strolled back into the building, leaving Keigo in the teenager's arms.

Keigo suddenly found himself turned around as the other boy kneeled down so that he was at eye level with Keigo. "So your name is Keigo huh? It's my pleasure to meet you little princess." Keigo found his small mouth dropping before he stomped on the ground angrily and a pout adorned his features. "I'm not a princess! I'm a boy! Don't b mean or I'll tell Tou-san!" A small chuckle escaped the teenager's mouth before he replied. "Of course. Princess." Keigo let a small sigh of annoyance come from his mouth but before he could speak, the silence was interrupted by a small groan, which seemed to have come from Keigo's stomach. Of course! He hadn't eaten anything yet and it was nearing midday. He was hungry. He looked up as the other man gave another eerie chuckle before he watched curiously as the other man walked to the grove off trees on the other side of the field. Not wanting to be left alone, he hurried over to join him and was just about to ask what he was doing when an apple appeared in front of his face. Looking up at the man again, he took the apple out of the teenager's hands carefully before a bright smile erupted onto his face. "Thanks Nii-san!" Keigo was so happily eating his bright red apple that he didn't realise that the other man had responded with a, "Welcome princess." The teenager sat down under one of the apple trees, watching the younger one eat. As soon as Keigo was finished, he threw the apple core away before he returned to his "nii-san" and without asking for permission he climbed onto his Nii-san's lap and fell asleep.

That was how they were found by his Tou-san nearly an hour later.

                        Now I, I can’t explain
                        I’m not to blame
                        We are all innocent
                        Now, nothing to say

I'm really sorry Sugary..

I posted Keigo and Zuriel first since Clolo was online then but then she just kept posting back

-___-

So I haven't got around to posting Roy yet...

So SOOOORRRRRRYY!!

I'm actually getting kind of sick of Keigo's "look at me I'm sad!" behaviour

Oh well... - I can only blame myself and Nate's sadistic behaviour

The layout looks good Clolo.

Say Soul - you should have Ai just miraculously float into the same port as Akira and Zuriel

Coincidently of course..

                        Keigo Ashida

The Kindhearted Captain of the Leviathan

Keigo would have looked completely dead if it wasn't for his chest rising at random moments. He was in so much pain that he barely registered when the pirate who had jumped on him had been taken off or when he had been picked up. His first movement after he had been jumped on was to cuddle into the warmth that was carrying him. Opening his eyes, Keigo was faced with a muscled abdomen, but his view was partly blocked by lavender pieces of hair. So far, Keigo only knew one pirate on the ship who had lavender hair and he didn't have to look up at the man's face to confirm who it was; he recognised the man's gait after all. Letting out a groan in pain, Keigo looked down at the bandages on his chest. Great, the once white bandages now had a big red spot on it, and it was growing. There was no doubt that the wound the pirate had sewn shut had reopened. Just great. Before he knew it, Keigo was thrown onto a nice, comfy bed but he soon pushed down further due to the hands beside his face that was resting on the mattress. "I ain't gonna be so kind as to let you accommodate my room every time y'go stinking up your cell y'know? Unless this is what you've been after all along?" Keigo was pretty sure that he had turned as red as a tomato because he heard the pirate let out a mirthful laugh as he turned away and started to tie his hair up. Keigo couldn't help but stare at the scars that littered the mans back. Keigo had seen his fair share of scars in his life, but he just couldn't understand what this man had done to deserve so many. Looking a bit closer, he realised that there were whip marks that were distinctly made by the Navy's 'Wachter' Whip, or in English, the Navy's Guardian Whip. It was only used against the worst pirates. Before Keigo could determine what any of the other scars were made from, the man had managed to stick a shirt on and block his view.

"I am sorry for causing you so much trouble. I would also like to thank you for taking care of me so far. I am sure that there are other things you'd rather be doing thank taking after a navy captain." Keigo waited as he caught the other man's attention, his head bowed and his voice low. Slowly raising his head, Keigo met the eyes of the pirate and he soon found himself getting lost in them again. They were like a never ending sea and Keigo was sure that he could have looked in them forever had he not seen something else out of the corner of his eye. Removing his gaze from the pirate, his eyes widened as he realised what was framed on the wall. It was an issued Navy sword that was given to those ranked captain and above. Without even looking at the pirate, Keigo slowly rose himself from the bed, letting out a small whimper of pain as he put weight on his wounds. Walking slowly and using the desk, Keigo finally managed to make his way across the room so that he stood in front of the sword. He didn't realise the gaze that the pirate was giving him. Raising his bandaged left hand, Keigo slowly traced the swords handle before he found himself tracing the blade. He had to know who the blade belonged to! Each one of these blades had the owner's name sketched into its metal. He struggled with it for a while before he finally managed to pull it out of the brackets, however the weight was to much for his weakened frame and both him and the sword went crashing to the floor.

On his hands and knees, Keigo was facing the pirate, only the sword lay in between them. He was surprised that the other man hadn't stopped him so far. Reaching out a hand, Keigo touched the sword, his eyes closed as he traced the name. Letting out a shaky breath, Keigo opened his eyes so that he could see which one of his fellow navy officers had been killed by this man and his sword taken. Opening his eyes he let them rest on the sword, but instead of remembering a fellow navy officer who had dissappeared, Keigo's eyes widened and he started shaking. The Benevolent Commodore, Nate Scarlett. Nate Scarlett, the infamous navy commodore who had turned to piracy. Believe it or not, Keigo's adopted father actually knew the man fairly well and had often told Keigo how brave the man had been and what a good officer he was. His adopted father never did understand what went wrong, but the day that Nate Scarlett left the navy, was the day that his adopted father suffered from a heart attack just from the shock alone. Keigo had been young. but he knew that the man was like family to the older man; even if the feeling wasn't returned. But it didn't matter anyways. The fact that he was in the presence of the infamous Nate Scarlett scared him to death. He wasn't the "emotionless" captain, he was the "kind-hearted" captain after all. Not being able to stop himself shaking, Keigo found himself staring at the ground as he contemplated what this meant.

Keeping his eyes peeled on the floor, Keigo let out a loud groan as he tried to shift into a more comfortable position. He had forgotten about his blood-soaked bandages. Placing his left hand on the bandages, he supported himself with his right. He knew he had lost a lot of blood that night but he needed to know the truth. He needed to know if it truly was him. Keigo had loved his adoptive father and it was only through Keigo's nursing that the once strong man had been able to recover from Nate Scarlett's betrayal. He needed answers. "So.. so.. soo, you're Nate Scarlett?" Keigo couldn't help but stutter and whimper through his sentence, his scared attitude showing through. "So, was it you, that broke my adoptive father's heart? Why? Why!" Keigo couldn't hold it in anymore. The night had been so taxing on him and his emotions were all over the place. But he had found the man who had taken the bright spark from his adoptive father's life and he wanted to know why.

                        Hisoka Zuriel

The Feared Stone-Faced Admiral of The HMS Excessum

It had been nearly 10 hours since Zuriel had entered his cabin on deck. Since then, he had met with his chief navigator and they had planned the course that they would be taking over the next week. That of course meant that Zuriel had plotted it out whilst the navigator just sat there and watched, only pointing out which bit of the trip would be the worst since they would have to travel through "Pinnacle Point", a stretch of water that was surrounded by sand banks which meant that if you could easily get bogged on the sand, but it did cut out 3 days of sailing. After finally finishing all the important meetings, Zuriel found himself absolutely bored in his cabin. He was definately a focused man and had not procrastinated his work, but now that meant he had heaps of free time. Standing up, Zuriel pushed in his chair before strolling to the hook near the door and collecting his cloak. Opening the door, he was greeted with a blast of cold air, however his facial expressions didn't change and it seemed like the coldness did not affect him at all. Giving a look over the deck, Zuriel was happy to see that everything was tucked away and most of the supplies had been loaded. Those that hadn't were currently being loaded.

it was good that the sailors hadn't slacked off. After all, if they had they would have been punished severely later on. Zuriel liked his crew to be orderly and on time. Those that didn't follow orders could get the hell off of his crew. After approaching the captain on the deck, Zuriel merely nodded at his reports with a unmoving, stern face before he gave orders of his own out. "Good captain. Make sure the last of the supplies are loaded on efficiently. The quicker it is done the more rest the crew shall get tonight. I want Smith, Walker, Johnson and Albek on guard duty tonight. Umen, Poe and Thompson can take second.I'm going to go in own for a bit. Once the men are finished they are free to roam the town but must be back in 2 hours time. Good night captain." Zuriel knew that the men should be happy that they were getting any free time at all. Normally he didn't give them any. But he had only given them 2 hours from that moment, and considering it would take just over an hour before they were dismissed by the captain, they wouldn't be able to spend long in the town. Just the way Zuriel liked it, and any buffoon that managed to get himself drunk would be left behind. As he was about to walk across the deck so that he could get off the ship, an officer came rushing up the ramp before coming to a direct stop in front of Zuriel, his hand came up in a salute whilst he struggled for breath.

Zuriel's face showed no emotions at the appearance of the man. "Admiral sir! Urgent news from further down the docks. I was doing my rounds as you requested when I saw a pirate ship dock sir and it-""I do not care if a pirate ship docked seaman. They are not our mission and we will not start a fight with them. Dismissed seaman.""But sir! It was the Jormungandr; ship of the Pirate Lord Akira Ketsueki!""I said dismissed seaman." Zuriel's voice left no room for questions and the other man stuttered out a 'yes sir' and gave another salute before he practically ran below deck. Turning towards the other men in his crew Zuriel gave a scowl as he realised that they had all stopped working and had watched the little scene that the other seaman had just started. The man would be punished later of course for disagreeing with him. "What are you doing. Get back to work immediately. No-one is to confront the pirates. You are not to attack them unless attacked first. What are you doing? Keep working!" Once he had been assured that the seaman had gotten back to work, Zuriel went back into his cabin, where he proceeded to his weapons cabinet. There was no way he was going to change out of his admiral uniform just because a stupid pirate was in town, so he might as well be prepared. He grabbed a pistol and put it in a pocket in his coat before sheathing his sword and placing it on his hip. Now set, Zuriel left his cabin, and after checking to make sure that everything was in order on the ship, he proceeded down the plank and onto the docks of the town.

So the infamous Akira Ketsueki was here was she? It was about time Zuriel met the feared lady] pirate lord.
