My dad spent over a day and a half practically non-stop working on my computer to get rid of it. I think he just got a bunch of different virus scans and ran them all, because some of them were able to quarantine some parts of the virus while other scans were required to get the other parts. It was a real mess...

Selini, you're apparently much smarter than I am. I got a pretty bad virus on my desktop computer back home a few weeks back--it was disguised as a virus protection thing, too, but it actually looked legit. I clicked it, and yeah... I don't do that any more. sweatdrop

On a more serious note, Kotoko, I totally share your pain! I have to read pages 1-40 of the Communist Manifesto for my composition class. Gah! I hate college homework. I actually had a bit of a free night tonight though, so I watched President Obama's speech to the joint session of Congress. I thought it went well, although the South Carolina Senator Joe Wilson made an idiot out of himself by yelling "That's a lie!" in the middle of the Presiden'ts speech. neutral Oh how I love thee, American politics. |
