That's sweet, in a make you sad kind of way. Last year my family's dog died- he's buried with a nice gravestone in the backyard of my parents' house. My parents went all of maybe six months before they got a new puppy, and now they have two dogs. And that was my mom who said she wasn't going to get another dog because she wanted new carpet instead. We all laughed at that because we knew she'd get a new dog, and lo and behold, she did. xd

LOL! I'm trying. wink Oh man, I'd love to do a big fair like that. I'm planning on dressing in costume when I'm up to doing fairs since I sell fantasy things. I'd get some odd looks, but I think I'll also pull in some customers that way. And yup! Most of the dolls I make are custom- I just got done two and need to work on about five more before Christmas. One of my custom dolls was even in a French Nintendo magazine last month- that was awesome!


And stay away from me, sick people. I've been fighting an ear infection for two weeks; I don't need anything else. razz

Aww, that's sad about your dog. sad It's hard to lose a pet!

The sick is about the same- still slowly trying to get off my meds. I've only got another month or two of decreasing, then I can stop taking it. Then I just have to finish recovering. I'll get there! I'm hoping by sometime next year I'll start feeling a lot better. smile The crafting is coming along great, though! For all that I'm only up to selling things online (rather than at craft shows- that's where most people have the best business), I've still been doing pretty well and making enough to pay my bills. I'm working on a whole bunch of dolls right now, and they're always fun to make.

Yeah, I read in the paper today that a cat had been treated for H1N1- the cat's fine, but two... I think it was ferrets? Some small animal had it, too, but they didn't survive. It's weird because I thought things humans could catch couldn't be caught by other animals?

One of these days I'll finish reading the Canterbury Tales- I haven't tried it in Middle English yet, though. Now that I think about it, I haven't read much of The Faerie Queene, either. This is just sad since I focused on British literature with my English degree, and I want to go to grad school to become a professor of early British literature. I should have read all these things multiple times by now. xd

I can't say anything since I have two facebook accounts. Not that I ever use the one hooked up to my real name because I don't want to talk to my extended family. xd

Wow, I finally got the last item- I didn't think I'd have time to get the clam shield because I haven't been at the computer much. I've got an ear infection that won't go away and the meds for it are knocking me out like crazy.

Edit: Does anyone know what completing 500 missions gets you for BOO? Is that the shield?

Edit edit: Ugh, it is the 500 missions. I'm not even halfway there (I am almost done maxing out, though- just have to finish the build: Build Experience: 167 / 250), so I'll probably just buy the shield.
