If that's the reason, he's an old man. Old men cannot speak well. Not well at all. All they can do is whistle at young women.

Perverts, all of 'em.

.....Thank you for scarring my innocent view of WALL*E for life now. xDxD

I totally want to draw him with like, a long, grey beard now.

*snorts* Oh yeah, that's the OTHER thing that scarred my innocent view on WALL*E for life. xD The sad thing is, I remember laughing when I first heard of it. I guess my morbid sense of humor kicked in or something. And now it's become kind of a weird little joke between my friends and I.....I'm a bad person. gonk Poor WALL-E.

Oh, and I was talking about Kiss the Girl and I Won't Say (I'm In Love).

DUDE. I totally thought the exact same thing, I really did. In fact, I made a "Songs That Remind You of a Character" type topic on my forum, and "Kiss the Girl" was the first one I listed for WEVE. Heheh. xP "I Won't Say I'm in Love" is another good choice. Great, I'm going to be listening to that all night now...

"I Can Go the Distance" from Hercules also reminds me of WALL-E for some reason.....at least during the first half of the movie.

There are a lot of songs out there that suit the characters, though, it's fun to hunt for them. xP I'm hoping I'll be able to make some of my first AMVs when I get the DVD. We'll see.

Oh~ I won't say I'm in Love totally fits EVE...
And this is the picture I was talking about... Yesh I made it into a TINY icon, but you can still see their faces...
See:

Yeah, like Kitsune-chan said, they're bashful. xP It's quite adorable.

I hate this bump contest so much. So very much. Anyways, I'm sure it'll be fine, but I wanted so bad WALL-EVE fluff. I didn't get any 'till near the end of the movie, and even then it wasn't straight out holding hands, cuddling, kissing, and stuff like that. It was just building up the whole movie. NOW I WANT SOME STRAIGHT OUT ROMANCE. I WANNA SEE WHAT THEY'Re LIKE NOW THAT THEY'RE TOGETHER. I WANNA SEE THEM KIDNAP M-O AND THEN THINK HE'S THEIR CHILD.

I MEAN, M-O IN A DIAPER? THAT'D BE JUST TOO CUTE. And you know anybody would want M-O for a child. ANYBODYYYY. Even AUTO.

AHAHAHAHA. That is the best idea ever. No, really, it is. And M-O would be SO ticked off, poor little guy. xD I wonder what would lead WALL*E and EVE to that conclusion, though? Oh man, I'd SO be writing a fanfiction for that plot if I had any idea how to do it...

The funny thing is, if he were put in a diaper, he wouldn't be able to move anywhere. THERE IS NO ESCAPE. xD

Oh, and I just found out the most epic thing ever; remember those mice that turned on EVE? They're named REM-E.

No kidding? xD That rocks!

"Darling Chibi Tenshi"
AND this Wall-E remix song I downloaded sounds kinda "dirty?" //@/@//. THere's barely any words... But the sounds make it dirty. D X
The song is called "Robot Love" This is how it how it sounds like in the beginning/ending:
arrow *coin slot noise* *EVE giggle* *coin slot noise* *EVE giggle/Oooo~* redface gonk
And this is from a CD that is suppose for kids. gonk Really. You can hear the previews of the songs in Amazon or Itunes...It's from a Album called Wall-E and Eve...

O3O .......... *falls over* *massive gigglefit*

I-I-I'm sorry...! xD That just really cracked me up for some reason. Oh my God....that IS wrong, though. So very wrong....

........*snorts* xD Okay, okay, I'll shut up now!

As for the short, I'm not that upset about it. I mean, of course, I would have LOVED some WEVE related goodness, but, I mean, it's Pixar. I'm sure whatever they make, it's gonna be awesome. 3nodding

*POPS IN*

I've heard rumors that BURN-E is going to be a short about that robot that gets locked outside the Axiom after the "Define: Dancing" sequence. << >> I'm not sure if it's been confirmed anywhere yet, though.

*POPS BACK OUT*

(By the way, I hope this doesn't count as a spoiler. I don't think it does, but....yeah.)

I completely agree with you on most subjects, but EVE actually says other stuff (Detail that doesn't matter)and I think that the reason that the director made very little dialog was so that the movie could go through less editing and still give the same message across the world. I'm also like your dad on movie romances, none really surprise me or evoke any of my feelings, but Wall-E did.

I say the funniest short is from Ratouille (Or however it's spelled)

Yeah, you're right. ^^; I'm watching the movie again (Don't ask), and when she first meets WALL-E, you can KIND of hear her say "Who are you?" It's hard to make out, though. But yeah, you're right.

Mmmhmm, which I really love. Some movie romances just feel....forced, but this one was actually meaningfull and touching. I'm greatful to Pixar just for that, because I usually NEVER like movie romances that much. xP

"Lifted" was great too, but my dad and I found "Presto" just a LITTLE bit funnier. But, they're both great, really. xP

EDIT: Oh yeah, I love Finding Nemo too! (Actually, I love every Pixar film...hmmm...) I remember I saw it in theaters when I was 10, and the whole theater was just dying laughing. And I was trying to be cool, and be the only one NOT laughing, but then I broke down and cracked up. xP Good times.

I saw WALL-E on Saturday night, at around 10:10, I believe. The theater was about a third of the way full, but there was only a few kids there. Most of them seemed to be teenagers, or adults.

Anyways, I LOOOVVVEDDD the movie, I really did. <3 I knew I would, but the trailers don't do it justice, I don't think. WALL-E himself, of course, was just such an adorable and fun character, I loved him. And EVE was actually a really strong female lead, even though she really only said one word throughout the entire movie.

And that brings me to what was really awesome about this movie: the lack of dialog worried some people at first, but Pixar pulled it off PERFECTLY. In fact, the first 30 minutes off the movie doesn't have any dialog at all, except maybe for some beeps and other robot-y sounds from the robots. You can easily tell what the characters are feeling, though, and I find that really cool. Especially since, again, they really never say anything. xP

Oh, and I have to mention, the romance between WALL-E and EVE was just wonderful. I haven't seen a movie romance so well done in.....well, a very long time. They were just so adorable and sweet together. Even my dad said, on his own, that the relationship between the two was really sweet. He RARELY ever says that about ANY movie romance, so that had me really surprised.

My theater's auidence responded really well to it, too. Everyone was laughing, and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Which is exactly what I was hoping to see, since before this film came out, people were wondering if it would be sucessful with the general public, since it IS very different from your typical animated movie. My auidence seemed to enjoy it, at least, even the little girl who was sitting in the back. She thought it was HALARIOUS. xD

So, yes, I liked the movie, can't you tell? xP Definitly give this movie a shot, because it is really good. And again, don't worry about the lack of dialog, you'll be smitten to the characters rather quickly.

But what did the college students think about (BIG SPOILER: HIGHLIGHT BELOW TO SEE

SPOILER: Oh my gosh, my insides literally started twisting during that scene. Dx I was like "Please end this soon or I'm going to CRY! ;_;" And my theater got dead silent. Then when it was over, I felt better. ^^

EDIT: Oh, and the short before the movie started, "Presto"? HALARIOUS. Funniest Pixar short ever, hands down. xD Did it remind anyone else of an Loony Toons episode? And not just because of the rabbit.

Man, I seriously cannot WAIT for this movie. Anyone who knows me could tell you I'm an avid Pixar fanatic, so I go crazy around this time every year. xD As an aspiring filmmaker/animator, I'd love to work there one day, too.

It's funny though, because I've just adored this film since the beginning. I remember when I saw the teaser last summer when I went to see Rattatoullie, and as soon as I saw that shot where you see WALL-E looking at the sky, with the stars reflecting in his eyes, I remember thinking "....I love that robot." So, since then I've been waiting for it.

And I adore it even more now that I've seen full trailers, a few scenes....there's just something about it that's so charming. Maybe it's WALL-E's cuteness. I haven't adored a robot this much since R2D2. xD I'm hoping to maybe find some WALL-E plushies or action figures at the Disney store or something.

So, here's to what will hopefully be another awesome Pixar installment! I hope I can see it within the next few days...
