Oh... I am sorry you had to go through that. sad
I rarely ever get those comments... but when I do I don't dislike it either. It simply means I'm not drawing something clear enough. I was a little hurt when I was younger, when my drawing of a dog was mistaken to be a drawing of a cockroach. whee You know, nobody asked what it was. They ALL just assumed it was a cockroach. I laugh at that now, but uhh... when you are a child, your drawing of a dog being mistaken for a cockroach can be devastating. gonk I didn't draw until I graduated from high school. |

I love cute things, or pretty things, so my style choices tend to lean towards girls' salaryman comics. whee Flowing lines, longer bodies - but sometimes I just tend to switch to the cute young boys' style chibi. whee
If I had to name someone, it'd be Minami Haruka/Kazuka. whee |

"The hand's wonky." There are TWO hands in the picture. I used to waste my time asking "which hand" and "how", but they rarely ever reply after that, or even when they do, it's rarely understandable. I ask for a drawover if I couldn't understand, and they conveniently disappear on me.
I cut down time wastage by not responding at all to such comments anymore. whee Hey, a man's time is his money and romance. You can't blame me for using it wisely! (laugh) |

BrahmZipperlin Kirihito is so right. I guess you could say that your passion is for the happiness and well being of the ones you love. It would of course be a blessing if you could have passion for your life career and still be able to support and help the people you care about. That is actually the one thing I always run into in my mind that makes me think twice about pursuing an art career. sweatdrop but I love talking about art and I love explaining the technical aspects of art, so I think I would make a great professor. The head of my department here at FSC makes descent money though, so if I could reach the level of a professor I should be fine. Until then, I was just going to keep a regular job and work in my own time. But Im a freshman in college, I have plenty of time to figure out what I really want to do. Misszipper and I are planning on going to grad school at NYU after college, so we can get our masters, so that should help a little. Thanks for the input Kirihito! Thats the kind of response I was waiting for. 4laugh Can I friend you? 4laugh Sorry. I can't seem to log in to my main account so I'm on my mule. eek Seems like ages since I've replied in this forum topic. (laugh) I'm not sure if I'm right or wrong, to be honest. sweatdrop I guess I simply go with the flow of what's most important to me first. Then again, art isn't a bad career for some people who can get good business. In fact, some become successful and earn a good living out of it. Teaching art can be very inspiring too, as well as a stable job. I really like seeing how you see the goodness of being a professor, to teach others as well as to benefit yourself. 3nodding Good luck, all the best! 3nodding Sorry, at the moment I'm not accepting friends requests. @_@; I'm not accepting PMs too, come to think of it, he he he he. sweatdrop |

Amour+Fonce I was going for that. xD. I wanted to draw a kinda cute little like "when I grow up I want to marry you" kinda thing. xD. Yeah, I felt it in both the lines and the theme. The poses weren't awkward - they were shy. You know, I got those comments from a few children as well. rofl They're innocent, and I like how the feelings here were portrayed. |
