Hexrowe, you need a good dose of BRAXTON PETERS.

Never had the chance to see him perform, unfortunately, what with living half the globe away and all.

Not many people have. Maybe I should beg Tom to let me put a clip from the DVD he sent me up on YouTube. I want to show the world A Room Full of Shadows. That has a lot of good Braxie moments.

DO IIII--Wait, you got a dvd? Lucky.

I would like to see a performance of his too, eventually...Tell Tom to bring his musical to the West Coast. xD

Yay new people!

Hey, guys. So here is my first post in your nifty little thread:

I love The Phantom of the Opera... a lot. My favorite version is the original Leroux version followed closely by the Kay version. I've been working on kind of writing my own Phantom novel (a spin-off, not a fanfic) for a while. One thing that has been bugging me is Erik's deformity. What is it? What caused it? I've heard many theories, including PCT, but nothing really fits the description. I know it could be a combination of different things but what? It's not really a huge deal that this be answered, it's mostly just curiosity, but it would be nice to have some sort of sensible answer. So, what do you guys think? Any educated guesses? Any sources?

Hmm, never thought about it really...I wonder if Leroux did though, if the science at the time he wrote it was that far along.

Speaking of Gerry, did anyone catch SNL last week? He sang MotN, it was pretty funny...his singing seems to have improved a bit since the movie too, although it's still not that great. xD
There were skits from 300 and BatB which were really funny as well.

slow works for me. between my friend's baby and my other friend's high school daughters, I'm swamped with childcare and tutoring. both of which aren't paying that much... = oh well, I just need to earn about $500 in order square off all my immediate debts in my current city before I go off to an actual university in January. dX I'm technically ahead of the people I grew up with (b/c I'm a Junior rather than a Sophomore), but it'll be my first year at a university, so I still feel as though I'm behind <sigh>

Congratulations on starting university! Where are you going?

I had my last day of class today wooooo. Now it's just finals, and then hopefully finding a job for winter break...if not I'll just make stuff to sell I guess. :/

Haha, kinda random but with the EA talk I was reminded of these:

Hey, I remember you too! Welcome back!

Here's the new thread: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/entertainment-discussion/the-official-phantom-of-the-opera-thread-v2-0/t.34853457/

Some of my friends have made accounts too, but never use them...so I don't really know anyone else IRL on Gaia. Lame.

I don't plan to. It's tempting, but I have better things to spend my money on. xD

You're welcome. ^^

And here's something else...a Phantom pin-up calendar? Um. I don't know how to feel about this.

Except that the art for August immediately made me think "Stupid sexy Flanders!"
