Didn't know if i should send in my logo design yet or not. But here it is. I just finished reading through the thread and my interest is peaked. I'm really thinking about sending in an application. But i just a quick question. Would the comic have to be at a minimum of 300dpi in order to be published? I work on a few webcomics myself and always scale them down to 72dpi before uploading them.

Mmm, this might not be the most exact place to post this, but whatever. It's the closest i can find.
A few weeks ago i entered my comic Moon Reflected in Water into a comic competition called Small Press Idol on a whim. Didn't expect much to come of it. People on the site don't really like manga at all. And i was the only manga submission in a sea of Marvel superhero inspired art.>< But luckily i got through Round 1 and now Round 2 has started. So basically..i need votes in order to get to the next round. So if you guys are members of the site or would just like to join and vote in order to show your support i'd really, truly appreciate it! I only have 2 votes so far and i voted for my self.Pathetic, i know, but that was the one vote i was sure i'd get. So yeah as long as I get into the next round i'm guaranteed to see like at least a page or so in a future strip.Nothing big really, just some exposure. But if i get to Round 4 then my comic will be printed. I'm not trying to win the whole thing but i'd kinda like to gt to the next round. So i need your help folks! Have you never heard on campaigning...? I posted a link to my finished comic which is offsite yes, but is related to the contest. The current round involves character design and not the actual story. That's why i posted the contest link and my comic site. So that people can get informed before they decide what they wanted to do.So perhaps you should have read through my provided links before writing such a misinformed post. It's not like i'm saying "vote 4 me cuz i say so". |
