My examples are all a bit different because I go nuts with experimentation when I'm working. Zen will vouche for me not being an art thief despite my doodles and their varying levels of quality (the pink haired guy is actually her character).

I usually charge about 50k for a waist-up (which actually ends anywhere between the belt and the knees, depending on the character) and... I'd probably charge somewhere in the range of 150k-200k for the girl on the kelpie, but I'm very flexible with prices because I can't bring myself to care a whole lot. xD

For your benefit, a quick lesson on body proportions:

The average human torso is three times the length of the human head from the top of the head to the bottom of the chin.

Human legs are four times this, and therefore the average human's legs are the length of the the torso plus the head.

The arms are the same length as the torso, with the wrist ending pretty much exactly even with the groin at the bottom of the toso.

Human hands are just a little bit shorter (an inch or so) than the face as measured from the hairline to the bottom of the chin.

The human index finger is as long as the human nose from the fingertip to the middle joint.

This facial angle is a huge pain in the butt. D|
