The word "Glomp" Makes me think of a running Tackle.

A lot of cosplayers here are older, and have been doing it for a while, Personally I'm 25 and have been cosplaying for 7 years now. The thrill of being hugged for dressing as an anime character wore off a long time ago.
Now I don't mind being hugged by fans, I just prefer that they do so softly, that they ASK FIRST and that they partake in reasonably normal hygiene practices.

I'm sorry if someone was unreasonably rude to you but you should respect that not everyone is comfortable with close physical contact with a complete stranger.

See in FL we respect other cosplayers and the hard work that goes into their costumes. Many people spend months and hundred of dollars on their costumes and they don't want to have them ruined by an over eager fan. Now this isn't to say you can't hug people, but it is polite to at least ASK FIRST and if someone is in a complicated costume hug SOFTLY. Also some people just don't like being hugged by strangers, you have to respect that.

I'll bee going again this year, I should have some costumes in the cosplay gallery and I'll be wearing costumes, I'm just not sure which ones yet.

If we have a Friday meet up I'd be up for going to it, I'll be busy most of the day Saturday work for the con though.
Also I'm totally going to the ball, it was nicer than my prom was! Completely worth the money. (I was part of the Ouran waiter group that was there last year)

I met him at Metrocon's Amano's world. Any rumors about him hating cosplayers are totally NOT TRUE AT ALL. He loved My Costume so much he drew 3 sketches of me in it. It was a really amazing experience.



Yup! I'll Probably wear my Cornelia costume and what ever I end up making for the Masquerade. (most likely Amano related)

I'll be there for a while at least, I'm planing on wearing my Seaking and my Cornelia costumes

I was at NYAF 2007 and I'll be going again this year! I can't wait it's going to be so much fun, I super excited to see Amano again as my last experience meeting him was SOOO awesome.
