Oh my, I like to retain to my mothers advice, 2 - 3 years difference. Any more and she'll kick my butt. However I like to break the limitations ever so often.

Edit: Sure I'd love to chat

Edit: Holy crap I've created page 9, and I wanna throw in that I'm 20 so I might be too old for ya.

i think they are very good, but your shading on the first ones should be in more then one tone to give it a little more depth.
I Usually go just line sketching thus easier to Digitally color and such, However I'll keep that in mind when I'm doing something completely Traditional.

You need to study anatomy. I find the best way is to do quick sketches of basic poses. There are several websites online that are great for tutorials and overall progression. This website is great even if you're focusing on an anime-based style.

You also need to smooth out your lines. Maybe do another lineart layer on top to make the images more crisp-er (Showing my lack of vocabulary).
Thank you for the link to study from. Speaking lazily here, but cleaning take soo long D: .

I think drawing pictures from other artist is good for practice, I don't see anything wrong with that. As long as you don't claim it for your self.

Your pretty good, Its really sketchy which is a nice style, but It does seem a bit rushed. I like your characters though surprised
I do not claim that the characters are mine. That'd stand against the very moral that drives me. I always state that they are fan arts from me to the origonal creators. And thank-you, the OC's are very tough to build when the story is consistanly developing.

Pah! don't listen to her she is just being sour. So what if i person copies another persons picture, he isnt trying to sell it off or claim the characters are his own.
Completely Correct!

Need to work on anatomy...especially faces and hands.
I know that my hands suck, there are very few that turn out correctly. Mind telling me what you find odd about the faces?

If you're serious about drawing, you need to stop drawing manga for now and do a lot of life drawing. Learn anatomy, perspective, light and shadow, color theory and so on. Otherwise you'll never really be good at it.

I did that for 2 years... college wasn't the greatest of schooling
I do life and portrait drawing when I'm commissioned it.

But thank you for your input.

the background for the cg pictures look a bit like as if you use the shape or gradient tools.

I admit it looks as you say 'cause I suck with backgrounds, they were never my greatest strength and thus I focused on the character art instead. But what would be suggested to improve that area?

2h is.....kind of soft but I guess that depends on what brand....
I normally stick with either 4h or 8h since they only get dull once in a blue moon. xD.

But yeah, your lines are kind of choppy and for your cg pictures, your background doesn't seem to match up with the character drawings too well.
I like to use the Mars Lumograph STEADLER Pencils, and when making the base structure I tend to use a softer type and press down to darken.
As for the character BG's care to go into further detail?

I'm guess I'll take that as a fangirl moment.
