              Jonathan glanced across the hill, welcoming his youngest brother (and Fletcher) with a humble smile, before agreeing to the walk Oliver had suggested. Though he hesitated to stare, the vampire did look over at his brother often, studying his facial expressions for insight Oliver might not otherwise reveal. The young engaged man walking beside him seemed weary, more so than usual at least, and a grim seriousness hung over him like a dark cloud. Then again, Oliver had always been the serious one, the student of all things that books encompassed in their printed pages - so unlike myself. Yes, but even though Oliver was the serious one, well, the man walking beside him seemed more than a little defeated.

              Oliver had mumbled something about time constraints, probably trying to aquire just how much time he had to vent, and Jonathan, trying to be supportive, had nodded and replied with a smile - as if he could spare his brother all the time in the world. Which to be honest, at this point, he could. Mia was feasting as they speak, Ishmael was off doing "Ishmael" things, and Sela was bathing . . . his thoughts almost wandered there for a minute, and he had to force them to stop in order to hear what Oliver was saying at the moment. Watching both their feet walk in synch through the grassy knolls, the oldest brother tried hard not to seem shocked at Oliver's non-chalante remark about their siblings. He wasn't hurt by Oli's comments (for they probably were true), but still, he didn't want to encourage them either, in fear that Oliver would lament about them in the future. Because even if Mia and Ishmael weren't right there on the field with them, that didn't mean they wouldn't care to had they known about their meeting. Did their siblings even know that they were meeting? Technically, only Jonathan had reached out to Oliver - but again, that didn't mean they didn't at least think about how he was doing lately, "I'm sure that if they knew we were talking right now, they would be here for support." His eyes wandered over to the house where Sela was probably getting dressed in by now, "They are probably just as distracted as we have been lately." Yet he made sure to look at Oliver as he concluded his theory, "But that doesn't mean they don't care." He wanted his brother to feel better about his sibling relationships, but he wouldn't push the subject. After all, Jonathan would hate having someone tell him how to feel . . .

              Smiling, he tried to play off the serious stance he was beginning to imitate from Oliver. Running a careless hand through his hair, he brushed some bangs aside, and simply stated the truth about the "meal" question, "No, I think that Mia was under the assumption that we should each have our own, and with the rising body count, I didn't think it'd be wise to kill two humans in one day." He waved a hand in playful dismissal of the obvious consequences, "But hey, don't worry, I'll eat in the morning." Yet, though he meant to keep the conversation light, his voice drifted as Sela's house demanded his attention once more. His eyes locked in on it for another moment, as he hazily spoke up once more, "And besides, my hunger is not the reason I'm distracted - "

              Realizing that he was slipping up by his careless glances at the Belacqua residence, Jonathan tried to remain focused on the matter at hand. Mirroring his brother, he shoved his own hands in his pokets and actually sighed for dramatic effect. Stopping, he waited for Oliver to catch on and look back as he chuckled with a sly grin, "Oli, come on. You really want to talk about my diet?" Taking a slow step forward - and another and another - Jonathan walked up to his brother and cocked an eyebrow, "Or do you want to talk about what's really bothering you?"

                    @Hachi: omg! I am so glad you're back, too! I have no problem with you copy-ing and pasty-ing everything from your last profile over to the new one. Save for a few details at the beginning, I think everything is the same in general ^^;

Robin!Once we watched a lazy world go by Now the days seem to fly

                      omg - I haven't bumped since like Saturday!
                      Blah, sorry about that, but I was like sick for two days <<;
                      Anyways, I'm here for my daily bump!

                      Oh, and just personal opinion, but I'd love for the Prince John (or Princess)
                      role to get filled, but I'd understand if we started without him -
                      maybe we'd get a canditate once we start?
                      I wouldn't even mind doubleing up and taking the position,
                      but I'd think it might be weird to see both of Robin and his
                      arch nemesis played by the same person -
                      though then again, I could apply with one of my mule accounts
                      and no one would be the wiser . . . muwhahahaha . . . evil laugh . . .

Life is brief, but when it's gone Love goes on and onRobin!

tried to perform various muscial numbers with dance and whatnot.
I think I'm more of a performer, verus neccessarily a singer, but

              Jonathan wasn't sure why he wasn't hearing Mia's eager footsteps behind him. Wasn't she just as hungry as he was? Didn't she want to explore the dark regions of town with him, and feast on whomever dared to approach them? Usually, when he and his brothers hunted, it was in a typical pack formation. They roamed the alleyways until an unsuspecting fool would approach them to rob, or assault, in some way or another. And it was only the ones that tried to start something with them, that were feasted upon. Because it was only through the delusion of "self-defense", that Jonathan, or any of his brothers, were able to warrant their meals. So when Mia stood there, suggesting they seperate, the brother was suprised. Usually, him and his hunting buddies shared the meal, again, trying to tell themselves that they weren't as bad as other vampires who gorged on as many humans as they could. No, he and his family shared their meals in order to save lives. So why was Mia so eager for two humans to die? Weren't they trying to sway the idea of a serial killer in town - thanks Ollie for that one - by only consuming one person a day, at most? But here she was trying to get out of hunting with him - what gives? More than a little confused, the big brother looked over his shoulder, and back at her, "What - ?" Really, this girl didn't make any sense to him. Weren't it for his ability to read through Sela's emotions, the young looking vampire would have surely fell prey to the macho stereotype that men just simply don't understand women. Then again, maybe he should include himself in that theory, if the only woman he ever understood was his girlfriend.

              Girlfriend. It was a hasty description of their affair, which left Jonathan questioning its accuracy. Sure, he cared about Sela, and sure, she cared about him - and definitely something was growing between them. But would he go as far as calling her his girlfriend? . . . Yes. A residual answer that practically yelled back at him, and suddenly, Jonathan didn't care about the hunt anymore. Waving a hand in dismissal of his first question, the older brother smirked, "Hey if you want one of these beggars all for yourself, go for it, but just try to stick to one, okay?" He began walking back to his car, and almost idly continued before opening his car door, "I can eat tommorow. I got to go meet Ollie anyway." The copout was at least half true. He really was heading to the field in order to meet with his betroved brother, but first, he'd casually pass by Sela's house - not to close of course - and sneak a peek of the one who was never far from his thoughts lately.

              Turning on the ignition, Jonathan winked at his kid sister, before pulling out and revving the engine to take him back onto the main road. He knew she'd be okay by herself, and even if some random criminal tried to attack her, well, she'd easily be able to take them down - and earn her meal for her reward. Yes, she'd be fine, he assured himself, and hit the gas a little harder in order to hurry back home.

              It wasn't even ten minutes before he found himself hanging the keys back on the rack inside the garage; and being the sly dog that he was, Jonathan went to the side door of the garage, as not to be seen by any of his staff. Putting firm, cold hands, in his pocket, the vampire smiled mischievously as he headed through the back trail that went past Sela's house, and towards the field. It wouldn't be hard, with its large trees and shaded pebbled trail, to convince whomever stumbled upon him, that he was simply enjoying the scenic route to the adjoining field. But then again, who would worry about a Jurslaons walking along a Belacqua property, so long he didn't step foot on it? Looking over the grassy knolls, Jonathan kept a sharp eye out for the window, that he knew all to well, belonged to Sela. It was a window he stood underneath all too often, and a window he knew he'd be staring at tonight, too. Hopefully, being as far back as he was, wouldn't arouse anyone suspicions, and even allow him to watch out for her.

              Thankfully, for his patience's sake, it didn't take long for her lovely shape to enter the window frame. But it wasn't until he focused on the apparition, that Jonathan realised she was stripped down! Okay, so he wouldn't pretend it didn't do anything for him, but that wasn't the sole reason he continued to stare. To him, Sela was one of the most beautiful creatures he ever had the fortune to lay eyes upon. And though her killer body definitely helped place her in that catagory, it wasn't the reason she stayed in it. No, it was the beauty that lied just under that gorgeous creature. The beauty of her soul that made him care about her . . . Though he knew he cared far too much about her, when he thought about their many nights together. Anyone else, he wouldn't bother to feel bad about forcing them to keep secrets from their family. He'd deal with it just fine, because he wouldn't see it as his problem. But any heartache that Sela felt, made his own just that much worse. It in fact pained him right now to even think about it. So though he would have loved to continue to watch her graceful figure sway along the room, he forced himself to continue along the trail.

              A few more minutes later, Jonathan entered the field and pulled out his cell phone once more. Though he felt a little heartache of his own, he knew he needed to be there solely for his brother right now, and not display any inner turmoil once said brother arrived. So keeping it simple, he typed a quick message and sighed as he sent it off: I'm here. And I'll wait.

ooc; sorry it took so long to respond, I was sick for like two days <<;

              Jonathan rolled his own eyes when Mia lamented about the family's favorite nickname for her. What was wrong with being called "Baby Girl"? It was a little too cute for a teenage-looking female, sure, but otherwise, he found it quite endearing if you asked him - but I guess the point is, no one's asking me. If it really bothered her that bad, well then, he'd listen to her, and stop it - only mentioning it every now and then, in order to get a rise out of her. Smirking, he made a mental note of it, and watched her small figure walk around the front, and climb in.

              Of course, she decided to ruin the mood once she closed the door beside her. Her voice carried a disparaging tone, and he even looked back at her after her almost cold comment. Sure, she probably didn't mean for it to come out that way, and maybe he didn't mean to respond to harshly back at her, but both did it anyway - no matter what their original intent was. As soon as she told him to go, as if to hurry up with their hunt, Jonathan became a little offended and revved the engine, before merely glancing back at her, "You know I don"t like the fact much either - especially with Ollie being so sloppy lately - but we still need to eat." Looking up at the rearview mirror to make sure he wasn't going to hit anyone (because the last thing they needed was to attract any more attention than their looks already did), Jonathan shifted the gear, and took off full speed.

              Sure, within a minute of driving, she spoke up again, this time asking him something about his day, but by now, Jonathan was getting impatient. The fact remained, that though they were hungry, his whole family was trying to cut back. Because even though no one was suspecting the family yet, they could start, and soon. Especially with his brother so stressed. Just like some emotional overeaters, Oliver to, was feasting way to much on the humans in town. So now, though Jonathan sympathized with his brother's plight, he lamented about the fact of having to restrain himself so much and share his meals with his kid sister. C'est la vie, what else could he do? Because even though he was a little mad, he had to stop reading so much into every comment of hers, and just go with the flow. What was she asked again . . . oh yeah, about his day. Should he tell her the truth? How he woke up late from a night of - loving - and then tried to avoid Mia as much as possible in the hallway of their home as she ran off. Then how Oliver actually needs him, but he blew him for now in order to eat with an ungrateful little sister. Yeah, that sounds about right - but still, Jonathan had to lie through his teeth - again, "It‘s been fine. I guess we both had a late night last night? We both seem a little - on edge."

              In fact, because of his edge, Jonathan was probably coming off as more than a little harsh towards the youngest family member. Feeling at least somewhat bad about this, the eldest sibling glanced at the youngest one for a moment, before pulling into one of the more grimier parts of town. There was always a decent snack to be found in the area, and even though it might not be Grade A meat, at this point, neither of them would mind enough to complain about it. Shifting gears once more, he let the sports car gently glide into the darkness, and killed the engine before anyone suspected the intruders. Cocking a sly grin, he opened his door quietly, and leaned down into the open window, smiling back at Mia, "Come on baby sis - " Okay, so it wasn't that much of a difference to call her a "baby sis", versus "baby girl", but he was trying to show her that he took her request seriously, and still manage to find a way to tease her all the same. Ah, ignorant bliss.

              Standing tall, the young looking man licked his lips as various scents filled his nostrils. It would be delectable, and he actually looked forward to hunting with Mia; for it had been a while, and he wondered if her skills had gotten any better yet. He couldn't help but grin at the thought, because he realized, only he would give her props for being able to hunt and kill a human swiftly, versus - messily. Not bothering looking back this time, he continued with his usual cocky attitude; glaring down the full black alley, allowing his senses take over, " - I‘m ready to hunt."

ooc; Bring on lunch! ;p
