Ayumi's smile faltered just a bit. Even a ball would not explain the sheer number of possessed cases she was seeing. Perhaps there was something wrong with the royal families... God she hoped no one was planning this.
She put on a smile quickly, "Perhaps not love, dear. But fondness can grow quite quickly; I wouldn't assume you're doomed to lifelong unhappiness so soon." This girl was too hostile to get anything of real value out of her, which was unfortunate. She didn't want to need to lurk around like a stray cat in order to find information out. The spirits around her were unsettled, but looked willing to talk. She'd meditate and try to reach them after the festivities were over. |

If she can't log in, she might have gotten her password misspelled too many times and it disabled the IP address. She could try at a school computer if that is the case.

Ayumi smiled and took a sip. "Yes, I could see that. I was wondering, though, what exactly the events were. This gathering seems almost bigger than a wedding."
She realized how close she could be moving to an insult, and tried to dance away from it, "Perhaps it's just because I travel so much and deal in small, country weddings. But I did think it different." |

Ayumi smiled and poured cups of tea for the both of them. She needed to ask what this major gathering was about, she needed to ask about symptoms of possession and if there had been any events surrounding it. But to just jump into things could cost her everything with such a subject.
"You don't have to be so apprehensive, ma'am. I don't bite." She offered over a cup. "You certainly look like you could use a break from the stresses of the week." Ayumi took her seat, "I'm sure we all could." |

Ayumi smiled lightly at the cool reception. She needed to speak with this girl, but who knew if she could. Royalty was always tricky.
"I have some tea to help relaxation in my room if you would like it." She motioned with a wave of her hand to her own door before going inside. |

(You were. I read it over carefully and noted that the door hadn't been closed wink )
"You should be careful, ma'am," Ayumi said, passing by Andirelle, "Such stress isn't good for a young woman; especially so close to her wedding." |

Ayumi paused for a moment and glanced to where Cole and Andrielle spoke. It wasn't just her anymore; it was him as well. In fact, it seemed to be all of these children being driven in droves to this castle. The level of disturbance was growing far too quickly, and chances were very good that no one really knew about it.
Which was strange. So many seemingly possessed children being gathered together... it was almost as if someone were planning it. God she hoped not; this could be much worse than what it appeared to be now. Ayumi realized her mistake of stopping and hurried to not be spotted. |

(D: I go out one night and I miss everything...)
Ayumi looked up from her reading as the uneasy feeling she'd had in her stomach for days grew worse. This disturbance among the spirits was getting stronger... it was growing worse as more carriages arrived. She needed to meditate to find out what this could be, but she also well knew that there could be no time. Ayumi left her books where they sat and went out to see where this disturbance was coming from. |

Ayumi went to her room to finish her reading -taking a place beside a window and spreading the texts out. She settled down to spend the rest of the evening re-memorizing the wedding prayer and enjoying yet another free meal.

One thing Ayumi had learned over the years was that it was difficult to tell what was more annoying -when it was people disturbing the spirits, or when one spirit was disturbing another. Both were, in their own ways.
But what she'd felt in her meditations was that this wasn't a case of the former. Bad people didn't ever guarantee unsettled spirits. There was something in one of those girls that was doing it... but as of yet she hadn't determined which one. She'd need another meditation session or two before she actually nailed it down. But the problem was that these people were trying her patience far too much. They definitely needed something, but she just didn't care enough to see what it was. She said a quick prayer for this 'Adele' and began to count down the time before she walked away. |
