As for suggestions: try everything on the site at least once. Theres a lot to do and as such you can easily find your own little nitch. Lots of people use this to gain all their riches.

Also don't be concerned about the opinions of others. Theres always a critic and always a troll somewhere. They really aren't that common tho so just brush them off. :3

I finally found a job. biggrin So the good news is once I figure out how to balance art and the new job (as well as adjust to my new sleep schedule) I will be back on the ball and doing art again.

Also don't let others get you down. Theres always people that are stupid and overly judgmental.

Also be curious to others. :3 Trust me, being nice can get you far.

Not all are mean. It really just depends on where you go and what you say.

In some areas yes, they are overly judgmental and attempt to make a caste system based entirely on items. In other areas that doesn't happen and people are a lot more accepting.

As a general rule of thumb: don't go into towns or rally unless you have a thick skin.

In other cases it's a case of people making social mistakes. Noob doesn't mean "newbie" all the time, it also means moron or brat depending on how it's used. In cases where people beg and pester other users to hand over items, gold or anything else you will see the word "noob" tossed about. If you are nice and respectful you wont have the term thrown at you, if you are an annoyance you will be called one.
