emorexic-pimp hit it right on the head. (however I've never had to use the directional keys)

Both of those will select multiple however they do slightly different things.

shift:
Selects a row. To do this just click on the first item and then hold shift and click the last item you wanted in a row. This will select everything between the two items.


ctrl:

This is your best friend with organizing.
This allows you to select multiple items that are nowhere near each other. To do this click on the first item and then hold down ctrl. Then click on every other item you would like to move with it while holding ctrl. At that point just drag one of the items and the rest follow.

As for an image in your sig.



This is the code you will be using to make an image show up on the site.

If you are in "my gaia" you will see a little cog. Hover over that and you will see a drop down list. Just choose signature.

There are rules for sigs.

# Less than 500 pixels in size in both width and height.

# Total byte-size of less than 100,000 bytes.

# 255 character limit for signature text

# 255 character limit for url length (length of tags is included)



You might also need to change your account preferences. As a safety precaution gaia set it up so we could choose to only see white-listed images, no images or all images. With no or white-listed a lot of images become URLs despite how they are coded.

To change this go to my gaia > account settings and scroll to the bottom. Then just change it to all images and click save. :3

Also, as a word of warning, be sure you set your image viewing to the right format. If your account settings say that you only want to view white listed or no images all images will become a link.
Just be sure to go to my gaia>account settings and scroll to the bottom to change it.

As for info on gaia.
Gaia started off as a forum with avatars. The forum is still the biggest part of the site and where most of the events take place. So I say explore it and find you own little nitch to talk and play in.

Be sure to check out the marketplace and everything. The stores are a good place to look for items but some items are limited and you will only be able to buy them off of other users. You can also use the marketplace to buy low and sell high, lots of people make their riches this way.

Be sure to check out all our games. A few of them need a revamp because the avatars do strange things but they are still fun none the less.

zOMG: this is gaia's huge mmo. It claims to be a casual but be sure to buddy up with someone if you want to take down some of the big monsters. It's a lot of fun to play so I suggest toying around with it a bit.

booty grab: you will hear a lot of people talking about this. This is the game thats not in the game list. It also spits out the most gold. So if you are looking to get a nice amount to go on a shopping spree I suggest spending some time playing this game.
To find the game browse the forums looking for fish tanks in sigs. If the tank says "bootygrab" click on it. At that point the game begins. Don't worry, it's a simple game, you will figure out what to do once it starts.

The best bootygrabs can be found in the aquarium forums. Just look for the giant threads.

Have you already filled out a hacking report?

It takes a while for the mods to get to it but it does mean theres a chance you can get your account and stuff back. I highly suggest using it if you haven't already.

No... I can't say it's influenced me to go get some. The ban and making fun of the ban has been on my mind tho.

I think if anything were to translate into RL tho it would be me getting a pipe that blows bubbles.

But then.... I've never been a smoker. I've been around pipe smoke from my dad when I was younger but he was good enough to go outside so I didn't have much second hand smoke effecting me.
