Faramir, most definitely. I mean, I just felt a lot of empathy toward him after seeing what Denethor tried to do in Return of the King, and that led to the feelings I have for him.

Aliyssa, why were you and Colin Creevey last seen at the Quidditch World Cup final doing things with Omniculars that probably should not be done? Just answer me that, and you'll be all set to go. Moreover, why did you leave Colin halfway through the match for Ron when you know he's currently married to Hermione? You, Aliyssa, are nothing but a manipulative person, and that is very uncool!

The Phantom's opera, Don Juan Triumphant, causes chaos and arguments among the mangers and actors. Christine has been granted the largest part in the opera, which angers everyone. She tells the mangers she does not 'want any part in this plot' because she fears the Phantom will capture her. Raoul realize that they can use opera as a trap to capture the Phantom ("Notes.../Twisted Every Way" wink . Christine is unhappy with the idea as she does not want the Phantom dead. Tormented by the choice she must make, she flees the room.


Yes, I suppose that is one theory, but I was referring more to what happens after Christine and Raoul leave. Remember, all you see at the very, very end is Erik's mask on his chair...and that leaves a wide berth of possibilities for what could have happened to him. I guess I should have been more specific. sweatdrop

I just feel so bad for Erik. Not pity; more like empathy. He was clearly in need of someone to love, and when he did fall in love, the woman (Christine) could not return his feelings. So he did the only thing he could: he let her go, but not without a price...a broken heart. My point is, we can really learn a thing or two from this story, and I just feel that it is important that we remember that. Moreover, do you think Erik is dead? If so, how do you think he died? If not, do you think he is a ghost, or did he get stuck somewhere in between? Just a few thoughts from the Masked Genius.
