NANA.
Just because right from the begining you don't really know whats going on, until the very middle of the whole series. And there is so much drama, and conflicts going on in it. Even if you might cry xd you still need to see what happens and how it ends. The anime is subtitled, but its way good. heart

Paradise Kiss NANA [lots of drama] If you don't like that, the only other anime I know about would be Angel Sanctuary I don't really watch anime I am more of a manga girlie xd |

If you really like romance
I would suggest NANA...but there is so much drama in there..it makes me cry xd And there is Paradise Kiss Doubt!! Hot Gimmick KARE First Love Most of those are romances, with comedy. And I would also recommend RE:play I only have the first one but its really good. The sad thing is, most of those are manga's Except NANA and Paradise Kiss they are animes with subtitles biggrin |

In Cowboy Bepop, that was probably the worst when Spike died. I don't think anyone wanted that to happen.
Another tragic one is NANA. sweatdrop Even though the anime is in english subtitles..and no one really dies. Its just more and more drama..its really sad and heart breaking. |

Fooly Cooly or FLCL is really good.
Angel Sanctuary. And Real Lies Those are the only fantasy like ones I know of that you would sound interested in. I have more, real life manga about love rather than fantasy. |
