Imma Centaur! :D

Fear my magical floating tail!

Wow! Thank you, and the announcement is good news. I'm wondering why I didn't see it before. Heroes isn't showing where I live yet, but I'm looking forward to it when it does. We're always like 5 seasons behind.

I'd like to know. I just saw it in MP, and don't know where to get one. Did I miss a trailer or something? Thanks in advance for any info smile

I also don't like the new look of the NPC's. It's not that they're thin. It's that they're skeletal.

Anime style generally has thin characters, but then so does real life. Most of the world isn't fat, so it's normal. Anime's style was borrowed heavily from Disney, and the design for the bodies was kind of a "blank slate".

It had to deviate from a normal body to give a sort of "cartoonish" effect, but be close enough that it would stay plausible in the mind. Alot of money went into developing just the right look on the Disney end, and then the Japanese took it to a whole other wonderful level.

Our NPC's adhered to that "blank slate" style until the recent updates. They were slim, but their additions added to the personality image of the character. Moira needed her curves and muscle combo so she'd appear to be confident, brave, and tough. That's what an animated/illustrated character's image is supposed to do: tell you about the character.

Now? All I'm being told is that there was a famine in Gaia but nobody noticed or something.

But this is happening *every* screen change. If I refresh every time, I'll be refreshing 50 times an hour. It's annoying, and I'm close to giving up. sad

Every time I change screens in Gold Beach, I have to refresh because my avatar gets stuck. Only the bunny ears are visible above the sand, and there are ripples as if I'm in the water. It's like getting stuck in quicksand.

I'm using Windows XP and Firefox.

Yeah, I figure they will. I understand that no matter how well one plans, things still go wrong. I think they're doing a pretty good job though. Most of the time things run smoothly, or it only takes one reload. I remember only a couple of days of true accursedness so far.

I'm really having fun with zOMG. It makes breaks from work a little more pleasant, especially when the weather sux.

Sometimes things load a bit slowly or time out, but other than that, it's a good game. One gets to kill stuff without getting a headache. smile
