So, do you think the Democrats will blame their loss on Nader, or on Hillary?
If they lose they have no one to blame but:

A) Themselves for being fool enough to have Clinton as their candidate

B) If they choose Obama, Clinton for throwing some much mud at Obama that she ruins his chances at beating McCain

C. McCain for being a better candidate
Bush's third term was not an option Dan wanted to have.

bush's third term? difference being: bush(like obama) had no foriegn policy experience when he went into office, however mccain does so he wont have to rely on his VP (like Bush). plus Bush isnt a democrat like mccain.

Will everything mccain says against Obama be seen as racist? Go to post 28 Politics Mon Mar 24, 2008 6:57 pm

Ferraro =/= Clinton
Wright =/= Obama
Hagey =/= McCain.

I still don't see any evidence that Obama was "Fine with it" as you have claimed.

Also, have you read/ watched that Obama speech? Did you get the part were he talked about Wright and the reason he can't just be like "Hey f**k you,guy." Besides, doing that would have been typical politician style.

Anyways, the ED : P needs evidence for all of these claims you're making.[/quoteb]

BTW nice sig both Kosovo and Iraq were failures.

nah i didnt watch the whole thing. Obama's whole platform is being a good speeker and id rather have someone like McCain who can get things done instead of just making us feel good and trying to ddefend his racist pastor. (this election = american idol)

Here's how its going to go. Most likely, if Obama wins, the media is going to sit and look at everything McCain says and questions if it is racist. It would be the same way with Clinton, they would look at everything that McCain says and see if it is sexist. It's how that side rolls.

Look at the current uproar with Reverend Wright, they started to attack McCain with ties to Hagee as a last ditch effort.

Of course, it is almost certain that Clinton or Obama will try to play the "Victim card" to win over votes.

Really now? I haven't seen Obama play the victim card yet (not in the way you're trying to spin it, at least). Mind telling me how it's "almost certain" it'll happen?
All he has to do when running against McCain is say "The white man is out to get me." and it will get tons to go to his side. Or says that he is only targeted because of his color and not his policies. That is how he could play the victim card.

No the media will do it for him (if you watch SNL you know that the media has an unhealthy obsession w/ him because he is a charismatic senator that we know nothing about)

My friend, you seem to be suffering from a serious case of head-up-a** syndrome.

Firstly, since you've taken the time to make the claims, you'll be providing some unbiased proof of Obama being "fine with that".

Secondly, no. McCain's statements won't be taken as racist unless he starts bringing race into it in a negative way. wink

"god damn america cause they dont give blacks special rights" America is the US of KKK "now that my husband is winning im proud of my country"

If Hillary Has to be held accountable for what Ferraro said (of course she spoke the truth) then obama should be held accountable for what that racist bigot says.

I direct you to read the bolded part of my post.

Like Obama trying top explain away what that idiot says in his "major" (but obviously scripted) speech.

Look, just because you've gotten used to a guy who couldn't manage to read the script for the past eight years doesn't mean politicians don't have their speeches already written before they give them. You know, it's really a novel concept, the idea that people plan out what they're going to say before they say it, especially in politics where every word you didn't say counts. And you know, perhaps if people would stop trying to link supporters and staff opinions with the actual politicians opinions like this then we wouldn't nearly have half of this pointless s**t to worry about and could get back to those things like, you know, the issues.

As for his wife, she was talking about the political process, not the country as a whole. Which to be honest, can you really be blame her for not being proud about the low turnouts the crappy apathy of the electorate and the general mess that we manage to get ourselves into all the time? And yet in this election you're getting record turnouts for primaries.

Wrong! "for the first time in my life I'm proud of my country" I wonder how proud she would be if Hillary was winning? perhaps she would be like her pastor and say that America is a white nation that hates black people. Of course she tried to explain what she said all politicians do that.

IDK if id call it "victom" card but he did take Bill's words out of context once .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLDx4NZr2u4

Does anyone remember when Obama tried to say Bill said that "Obama's campaign is a fairytail" but what he was saying was that his position on Iraq is a fairy tail.

And of course Obama said that Bill was racist because he said that Jesse Jackson won SC in the 80's. need i go on?
