bedside's electability is bullshit im voting for the ONLY good candidate in the race since all 3 media anointed candidates are just part of the establishment in Washington.

And on that date the site's polling reads:

03/26/08 McCain 50% Clinton 43%

03/26/08 McCain 51% Obama 41%

And for that matter going back a week or so from there one finds:

03/19/08 McCain 49% Clinton 43%

03/19/08 McCain 48% Obama 42%

So it is impossible for you to have posted when the most recent polling showed a margin within 3%, given the thread did not even exist before the 26th. There are less recent polls that show leads within that margin certainly, and the oldest show Obama beating McCain by such narrow margins.
You're right, I didn't look too closely at the site, and assumed that the most recent polls would be at the bottom. If I had spent a little more time on it, I would have probably had a look at the dates and noticed that it reads bottom to top for some obscure reason.

In any case, my point is just as valid with a ten percent lead in the primary as it would be with a twenty of thirty percent lead in the primary. Count the months until the general. Sometimes things change a little here and there in a month.

All of which are fair points. I think it worth noting the site in the OP is the only source I've seen having McCain leading. But they don't show that consistently and do not seem otherwise to be some partisan rag or have some other outstanding reason not to trust them.

I don't take polling to seriously though, especially in a race that has been a fluid and suprising as this one has been. However I try not to dismiss it out of hand as its one of the only methods we have of gauging people before election day. And if McCain is gaining momentum he can keep gaining it while Democrats are too busy being a house divided against themselves, which should be of concern to anyone looking at Obama or Clinton. I'm not saying McCain's got a lock or anything, but I've yet to see the Clinton/Obama fight be anything but good for him.
Well, McCain has two major factors going against him as far as polling deception goes. First, and most obviously, is the fact that the democrats are still squabbling. Much like how the Republicans...(the far right grudgingly so) are now beginning to show support for McCain (up to something like a 75+ approval rating), once the Dem nominee is chose, the same is likely to happen on that side. Secondly, the vice presidential pick. Truthfully, I don't see a pick short of Condoleza Rice that isn't going to alienate some faction of the McCain base, be it the far right or the moderate Democrat/ leaning left independent, while the Democratic nominee has a fairly good field of choice, especially Obama (it would be a colossal mistake for him to pick Hillary, IMHO)

who cares who gets nominated, they all suck.

The 3 in the spotlight are all going to give us more hell in progress.
They all want to invade countries and have the government track everything we do.

Your vote of any of the 3 spotlight candidates is a vote you'll mistake.

Oh, sure, it's "throwing away a vote" until "he spoils it for the Democrats", of course.

Can't it be both?

Zogby has him at 6%. (now the dems will have to work hard to keep voters uninformed about candidates that hurt them.)
