they wont be on the ballot unfortunately.

change in his own words

Barack Obama:
"Experience? That word leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Our whole problem is that right now people are too experienced: too experienced at wheedling, too experienced at cutting deals, and too experienced at serving special interests! This is the time for new leadership! The time for hope! The time for change! The time for optimism! After that, perhaps more hope! Then hope again, change for a little while, then a mixture of optimism and change! After that we break for lunch. Then it's right back at things with some light change... "

Iraq:

Barack Obama:
"American policy in Iraq needs to be changed. There is little optimism concerning our future in Iraq. To remedy this, all American forces will be redeployed to the Cape of Good Hope. "

No Child Left Behind:
Barack Obama:
"Like a baby that has soiled himself, it must be changed."
Health Care:

Change it, or hope for Canada to annex the US.
Illegal Immigration

Barack Obama:
"I hope that in the future we can change the way Mexicans vote in the California primaries and if not, we can change our border's landscape with fences and hope that they don't know how to scale them. "

The Economy:

Barack Obama:
"Our economic fortunes are changing! We must remain optimistic, however, and not let ourselves be discouraged from buying shiny things. "

Abortion

Barack Obama:
"I have clothes hangers and know how to use them. So you better change your abstinence-only programs so I won't have to." "

That makes no sense, because that would mean they don't get any profit.

How about you stop being egoistic and actually care about those around you?

I'm going to have to take the side of the capitalist here and say that, although he's a ********, socialism is flawed just as much as Ron Paulism. The American Declaration of Independence (as long as we're arguing about American politics, it's accepted) promises the right to the pursuit of happiness, not the right to happiness. I should in no way be expected to pay for those who make little to no effort to pay for themselves. Work or starve. It's a simple choice. Those who truly want to succeed do so. Those who have brainwashed themselves into thinking being poor is OK because they were born into it and the government will keep you alive are the parasites that destroy economies everyday. I am not one who says he likes communism on paper but it can't work. I don't like it on paper. I am entitled to the end results of my efforts; nobody else can claim them.

Rand'd.

Isn't America also supposed to be the land of equal opportunity? How can you have equal opportunity if you're born into poverty?

They have to opportunity to act, to secure their own future. Poverty is not an iron bar. Those who care about breaking out can and will. This is, after all, America; it is a land where the degree you are told you should work for does not matter and a work ethic is more important than skill. I have met many uneducated African Americans who were born into poverty and graduated high school with a high GPA and the dedication to break out of the ghetto. One of them went to school with my mother. He is currently a millionaire without a college degree.

Drive, my friends, is all you need. Not money. It does not take money to make money. "Making money" is a phrase peculiar to English. Indeed, money is made; it is made through effort, not by manipulation. Those rich who got that way my manipulation should not be envied. They are worse off than the poor. Their money has corrupted them.

Of course they have an opportunity, but it is in no way equal. I believe it should be made as close to equal as possible.

Yes, take from the rich and give to the poor. Robin Hood is a very malicious legend.

If you wish to take from the rich, most of whom worked very hard for that wealth, and give to the poor, most of whom have the capability to break out as it is, what kind of reward basis are you giving those who work? You aren't. You are restricting growth, not encouraging it, by adding welfare to any economy.
