mcm Rei Davidson AEBO: Let's play pretend. Pretend you are friends with a person who is definately going to Las Vegas in a year and a half and invites you. You agree to go and for the next six months, the two of you plot the trip, where your going, how much money you'll need, etc. Around the end of this six month time, you find a significant other. As time goes on, you stay together with this person and planning for the trip continues. You book the tickets for the weekend you've been planning for since the beginning, and the time approaches when... You realize that the trip you've been planning since a year and a half ago falls on the one year anniversary of you and your significant other. What do you do? On the other hand, what would you do if your boy/girlfriend had this situation happen to them and was going to be gone on a vacation without you on your anniversary? Personally, the actual dates of things are less important to me than the celebration of said event, but I also am the type of person who downplays their own birthday. sweatdrop /nothelpfulintheleast |

Wizard Random Sempai Rei Davidson Wizard Random Sempai Tegowai Tegowai asks the o' mighty wizard ( while bowing ) : Honestly PC or Mac ? and why ? PC, I prefer a modual architecture. With Apple, once you buy it, it's yours. You can't open it up, tweak it, mod it or do anything to upgrade it without serious hassle and major headaches. With a PC, you can open it up slap in whatever new shiny toy you want and viola, it's upgraded! Furthermore, if you're savvy enough, you can tweak windows to do a lot of stuff Mac OS doesn't allow you to do. My answer to that question is it's purely about necessity and what kind of person you are. I use a mac because I'm an artist. I wouldn't recommend one to a programmer. Or for gaming. I would recommend it for music, art and movie making. Fair enough, it's quite true that macs are better as media creation than PC's I just know that making a franken-pc from scratch is a perfectly viable alternative. I've never seen anyone create a mac from scratch. Then again, now that Macs use Intel architecture, it's probably a lot easier to do now. |
