Im sure that would be the way. If they don't get the hint, he can write GAY across his chest with an arrow pointing to his pants.

Okay. First off. Don't jump on me. (That goes to the other person as well.)

I really don't see any gay men opposing it otherwise my opnion of it would be different.

I don't want to read the whole first post. Here in teh gd we have this thing called Wall 'o text and most of us skim it.

Some Yaoi writers don't write that. I know for a fact I have may writing friends who use same age (within a 2-5 year difference) for their characters and actually have something called a character relationship.

And I do have gay friends btw.

Your own fault, that's how it came out. And I, personally, have seen PLENTY of gay men reply to this post complaining about how people like you treat them like animals in a petting zoo. LURK MOAR.

Are you suggesting that all yaoi fangirls get locked up and never see the light of day again? Even those who actually have well-built lives outside of Gaia and the internet, where indeed a lot of people find yaoi?

Because thats how that came out. It sounds to me like you're saying we treat homosexuals so badly that we deserve to be locked in a dungeon and then someone throws away the key.

Well, he might, but I just want them to be educated. I want them to learn what Yaoi really is and not to attribute it to reality as well as the fact that it has nothing to do with homosexuality. The ones that refuse to learn and continue disrespecting people - well, yeah, maybe they should be locked up if it would work better than words.

Also, good grief, Germicide, you're the one who said such stupid things, not me. It wasn't our fault, like Demi said - it was yours. Also, just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist - it does. On a very large scale. I have gay friends too, you know, and Yaoi appalls them. Two of them have been at the receiving end of abuse from fan girls and Yaoi.

There are plenty of gay men who don't oppose it because they don't know what it really is or they haven't had a serious relationship with another man yet. That or they're posers. Also, all Yaoi is porn. That's the definition of it and it carries negative connotations - in Japan, where it comes from. You're probably talking about BL and just being ignorant about terms.

In Yaoi there are different levels.
Citrus
Lime
Lemon
And a Pwp
Note that I haven't even read Yaoi for about two-three years. I stopped to work on other less anime oriented genres.

Citrus stands for Bl. No sex just kissing here and there. It scales up to Lemon and then a Pwp (Plot, what plot?) Which is just two characters getting it on. Which I've never seen.
Yeah it was a stupid comment. I was working on two things at once. Get over it. I've never seen anyone who does treat gay men like they're in a zoo.(Except my mother) I agree that rabid Yaoi fans are out there but it doesn't get to the point where all Yaoi fans should be grouped up and given the word "Rabid" like I was jumped on for speaking the first time. Yaoi (Citrus/Bl) Isn't something to cause such a riot for either way, negatively or positively. Its something some people enjoy reading. I suppose it has to do with the taboo context in it of homosexuality along with two "Hot" (As some people think) Men getting it on or falling in love.

Pwp can also mean 'Porn without plot.'

She's probably not really a lesbian - homosexuals really aren't that common, but there are a horrifying amount of teenagers out there pretending.

That I like to call attention whores

I'm not pretending.. And I'm not an attention whore.. I hate having attention on me... .___.
Were you forced to eat stuff you didn't like as a child? Go to post 103 General Discussion Mon Apr 30, 2007 1:41 am
I had a baby sitter that locked me in the bathroom because I wouldn't eat my peas. I was like... 5.. she got fired, of course, but... >< (I also have a feeling someone's gonna see baby sitter as baby sister XD )

Many girls, during their teenage years, expirience feelings toward another female. It may be because the boys are all jackas*es at that age, it may be because they are closer to girls, or it may be because they are seeking a bond.
Right now, I say I'm a lesbian, but when the boys become mature, who knows what'll happen...?

Like I said, most people who are actually lesbians (as in people who stay as lesbians throughout their entire life) never experience any proper sexual feelings towards men.

I've never felt anything towards men.. but.. I'm just saying, I don't know what'll happen in the future.

I personally like old Avril.
New Avril...
Well, Girlfriend is one of those songs where I really should be hating it due to how slutty it really is, but...crap.

Yes. Old Avril's songs had emotion.
Her new ones...
..no.
Not the kind that catches the right kind of attention, anyway.

SHE'S EVERYTHING SHE'S WAS AGAINST! ALL THE PINK AND HAPPY POP SONGS, IT'S SO FUNNY. I THOUGHT SHE SUCKED BECAUSE OF HER ATTITUDE BEFORE...BUT NOW! OH NOW SHE'S EVEN MORE ANNOYING WITH A SMILE!

Oh my god, my point exactly. Before she was like, 'My songs are not pop, they're rock.'
Now she's all blond and pink and prissy, singing this stupid song that insults many people!
My god!
She needs to get a life!

the main heart of punk music is insulting people. at least that was the original point. so shes more on key than some "punk" bands. just to point it out I agree with what u said tho she has pulled a 180 in life.

*nod*
She makes a point, shows her opinion, and betrays it.
It's really strange...
