Aaahhh, I thought I replied here. Guess not.

Ah, I forgot about that. But for the ones I sent you over MSN, Dominic and Daisy are the only characters. You know what Dominic looks like; we don't have a design for Daisy, but he's your stereotypical bodyguard - big and broad, with dark hair, a suit and sunglasses. I can find a picture if you like.

Don't have a design for Daisy? xD That's a bit silly. Jumping into a comic with no idea what who you are drawing looks like. @_@

enchantedsleeper
I know you did, but I wrote that before our conversation.

And now I actually have a ruler. xD My mother bought a new one again. @_@

Okay. I guess I'll just have to talk to myself... biggrin

I'll try being more active here... But that is hard when I don't have anything to talk about...
I mostly just be silly here: http://pipa.jp/tegaki/VBlogList.jsp?ID=61152 (My drawing blog that is in Japanese. xD) The name of the site is "Tegaki blog" which translates to handwriting blog I think.

I have nothing to do as always. :B Perks of being home-schooled for me is no damn tests. I haven't had a single boring subject. (Except maths. xD)

I noticed. The problem is though that I don't think I have seen many of the character designs, meaning I don't know what they look like.

xD Mine are always blue, brown and green backgrounds.

I just don't think orange works with pink. >_> Lucky the pinks I use often aren't pure pink, they have somewhat brown or grey hues in them.

That's what happens with me too; I often don't consider the colours. I didn't even think of a colour for the background of this picture, I just randomly picked one then added white stripes to it so it was less plain.

xD I guess I thought it was the one that worked best. Since I am bad at colour combination with backgrounds.

I like the orange at the moment, but I might end up hating it later, you never know. :B

I like traditionally inking too, in fact; it's easier if you can lift the line art and make it transparent in my opinion.

Lightboxes... They seem handy. Although I've never seen one (but I still know what they do).

I finished that contest picture... What possessed me to pick ORANGE as a background?! Orange and pink don't work. xD. http://shirofuchideuikuku.deviantart.com/art/Let-the-music-fly-85034092

Ha~ I like inking, but not if it takes centuries. Which is why I used the pen tool in Photoshop. But now I don't have it anymore. x3 So I ink via openCanvas, which leaves me with messy jagged lines.

I know it takes alot of skill, that's why I practice it. x3 Because in the end, if it is perfected, it looks nice. Especially if it looks 3D-ish yet 2D.

I'm using this style since it might go with my scratchy line sort of style better. Since my lines are never clean anymore (I blame YOU, Photoshop!)

Yes. It is a evil little thing. I will be doing the comic pages in openCanvas if it's still missing by the time this picture is finished.

Thanks, I am trying something new. I've been trying this style of colour for some months, each time failing. But I think this time it is coming through good somewhat. It still isn't perfect because if I remove the lines that are supporting it, it looks yucky.

Has Naito found a ruler yet, I wonder?

As I told you on MSN, no I have not found a ruler. x3 It is Houdini in disguise.

enchantedsleeper
Make you do the artwork? I wouldn't do that; you have more than enough to do as it is x3 I intend to see if Ringo-Ichigo is still around and interested in participating, since her style is sort of similar to Naito's. Kinda. x3

Haha, I don't think my style would be similar to hers anymore. Since I am trialling down to cartoonyness instead of anime/manga.

Look! A drawing of NON-laziness for once.

It's for a contest on dA. ( Like drawing a fake music CD cover). And no, it won't have a green background. x3 I did that to see the white.
