Ryuk watched his human go before rolling his eyes. He grabbes some apples and decided to fly over to Ritsuka's to see Kira. He stopped in Ritsuka's room and saw Ritsuka busy with the packing thing. He heard his classmate and rolled his eyes. Kira bid him farewell before turning to Ryuk. "Long time no see, Kira," he grinned, chomping on an apple.

Kira scoffed and crossed her arms. She grabbed an orange from Ritsuka's stash and started to peel it with her fangs. "Not long enough, apparently," she growled. "what the hell do you want?"

Ryuk smirked. "I have a bit of an idea," he grinned. This got Kira's attention.

Ritsuka decided to walk to school today. He passed by Shojo quietly and kept walking.

Tori heard the commotion for Aiden's room. She sat up, but Kai pushed her down. Kai had taken her back home, amidst all the confusion. She looked at him fearfully. Kai shook his head. "Stop worrying, bird," he whispered, lightly kissing her neck. "Lay down. Relax. I'll check." Tori reluctantly nodded and laid down. Kai sighed as he got up from Tori's side. tori grabbed his wrist and looked at him pleadingly. He smirked. "I love you, Tori," he whispered. Said girl smiled and closed her eyes to relax.

Kai got up and headed to Aiden's room. He didn't bother knocking, seeing as something was going on. He saw Aiden with the kunai at her chest. His eyes widened. He quickly rushed over to her and snatched the kunai fromher hand. He was tempted to slap her. He tackeld her to the ground so he could get some common sense into her. "Aiden, i don't know what you think you're doing, but if I see that again, you will be confined and medicated for the rest of your known life. Is that understood?" he asked quietly and calmly.

Misery made his way back, still somewhat disoriented. He had been used. And then he had been dumped. How nice. His aniki wasright about women. They were useless and completely troublesome. But yet, he still cared for her. She just said she loved him too. He slammed his head against a tree until he saw red. Why did he have to open up to her? He knew he shouldn't have done or said anything. And now look where it got him. Pein was completely right. He was right about everything. Her, women, changing. Everything. Misery didn't feel pain as he kept slamming his head against the tree. "Keep it up and you'll have brain damage. Then the leader of the Akatsuki will be a vegetable." Misery opened his eyes. "you were right," he whispered. "Come again?" Misery sighed. "I said...you were right," he said louder. "About everything. Aiden..women...changing...losing authority and all logic...you were right..." He felt a hand on his shoulder and kept his head against the tree.

Misery's vision landed on Aiden. He nodded and left in the opposite direction of her. Inside, there was a storm raging. The waters were crazy and raging with anger and sadness. On the outside, he showed no emotions. He felt his cold demeanor coming back to him. Aiden had changed him and now that they were no longer together, he reverted back to normal, the way Pein wanted him. It was so easy for her to say it. Maybe she used him. Misery punched a tree and broke the bark in many pieces. His knuckles bled, but he didn't care. All he cared about was releasing his anger.

Misery grinned. He knew the perfect way. He made his way to Kusa and had a sadistic smile on his face. He would release his anger. Even if it killed him.

Once he made it to Kusa, he started to kill random people. There was a woman running away with her eleven year old son. Misery held such hatred for that sight. A mother. He growled and threw kunai into the base of her neck, making her dead body fall to the ground. Misery saw the son cry and back away with terror ridden eyes. Misery stalked up to him and saw the fear in his eyes. He stopped and stared for a while. Why couldn't he do it? Misery, getting angry with himself, threw the kunai, ending the orphan's life.

Once those two were dead, Misery had his fill. He had had more than enough with everything. He growled and torched the village. It went down in a raging inferno. He walked out of the wreckage, everything in tact. The only thing that showed he had killed was the orphan boy's blood spatter on his chest and cheek.

Misery looked at her and averted his glance quickly. "Is that what you want? For me to leave?" he asked monotonously. There was no hint as to how he felt about that. But it didn't sound good. From the looks of it, she didn't look like she wanted to be held, so Misery kept his distance. He crossed his arms and leaned against a tree, trying his best to keep to himself. To be honest, he didn't want any contact right now. It was hard on the both of them. But Misery was actually moping. He kept his sight tothe side, avoiding her completely. If Aiden looked at him, she would see that he didn't want to look at anyone or speak or even be around her. But that was not the truth.

Pein let her go freely. He sat there and heard a quiet sigh after she walked off. He rolled his eyes. Why the hell was he the middle man? He got up angrily and stomped off toward Misery. He dragged his brother up to his feet harshly. "Get your a** going," he hissed. Misery glared at him, feeling empty all of a sudden. Pein punched him in the jaw causing Misery to stumble a little. He held his jaw and looked at his aniki. "Go."

Misery smirked and wiped his lip. He silently thanked his brother for snappinghim from his thoughts and woes. He kicked Pein in the stomach and sent him flying before continuing on his way to Aiden. He heard her whimpering for him and saw her huddled on the ground. He sighed and debated going over until he heard the part about needing him. He fisted his hands at his sides and slowly went over to her. "Aiden?" he called quietly, devoid of emotions.

Misery finally made it back and saw Aiden clinging to Pein. He hid behind the tree and watched on quietly. He extended his hearing so he could hear. He sighed as he slumped against the tree. He really didn't want to be near anyone right now. Heburied his face in his arms that were crossed on his knees.

Pein looked down at her and sighed. He leaned against a tree, pulling her in his lap. He gently rubbed her back, secretly reliving his time with Konan. he had done this before long ago. He let his head fall against the tree. "I had a feeling Agony would appear soon..." he said quietly in his normal monotonous tone. "Don't beat yourself up..." He averted his glance to the side, not really wanting to look at her. He knew she had difficulty looking at him anyways. "You're...still family..."

Misery stabbed the kunai into Agony's neck, straight into his vocal chords. Agony gasped in pain and coughed. The younger of the two twisted it and jammed it in further. Agony choked and squirmed. Misery, having enough of his older cousin, weaved hand signs. He lit Agony's body on fire and watched him burn, him being pinned to the tree. Once the screams died down, Misery spat on the ashes. He then proceeded to walk back to Aiden and the others.

Pein was walking through the woods, doing his normal nightly patrol and saw Aiden returning to the same tree at which her and Misery met. He smirked and followed, just in case. The girl WAS a magnet for trouble. He saw her get up high and saw her slip. His eyes flashed before he stood below her. He held his arms up, following her falling body with his eyes. She wasn't even trying to stop herself. He sighed as she fell into his arms. He pulled her close and held her. "Death will serve you happiness....how?"

Kai watched her walk off and sighed sadly. He looked back at Tori and saw her holding her stomach. His eyes grew wide. He quickly embraced her and rocked her gently. "Calm down, calm down, calm down," he whispered. When this didn't work, he gulped. He had to result to that. He started to quietly sing to her. Tori sniffled and choked at the tears and slowly quieted down. She gripped her danna's cloak and buried her face in his collarbone. He gently rubbed her back, still rocking, and singing, and rested his cheek on her head.

Misery stormed through the woods, following the trail of blood left behind by his cousin. his eyes were a deadly silver. The deadliest they could possibly be. He saw orange ahead of him and growled. "Agony," he hissed. Said man stopped and turned around. He saw Misery and in a flash, Misery had his older cousin pinned against the tree. "Baka yaro!" he hissed as he placed the kunai to his throat. Agony grinned. Misery delivered a swift punch to his jaw, snapping it with the force. Agony fell to the ground and held his face. He spat blood and snapped his jaw back in place.

Misery kicked him in the ribs, flinging him to his back. Agony's ribs were broken. As Misery approached, Agony threw a punch. It connected with Misery's face, only for the younger to growl and grab hold of his fist. He then pushed it away a little, still holding it. "Namen nayo," he growled, twisting his wrist, hearing a sickening pop and crack. He had shattered Agony's wrist. Agony screamed in pain. Misery's eyes stayed locked on Agony as he inflicted his torture. He took the kunai in his hand and slid it down his forearm, drawing blood and severing veins. He licked the blood off the kunai and glared down at Agony. "This is only the beginning, Shinta," he growled lowly.

Misery's eyes widened and he felt a sinking feeling. The children were gone. He pulled her away and looked at her, trying to find some hint of a lie, a fib, anything. He found none. He looked down at her stomach and grit his teeth, but not angrily. In sadness. He resisted the strong urge to break down. He hesitantly reached out to her stomach. He pulled away and covered his mouth, sitting up on one knee. His hand was fisted tightly on his thigh. He slammed his hand into the ground, hearing a sick crack. He broke something. He looked at her, his eyes silver. He kissed her forehead softly before standing abruptly. "I love you, Aiden," he whispered as a kunai took its place dangerously in his hand. His back was to her when he said it. He looked over at Kai. "Anything happens, you better protect them," he growled. With that, he was gone. He took off after Agony. His cousin would die.

Tori broke free from Kai and embraced Aiden tightly. "Stupid, stupid, stupid, yeah!" she cried. "You always have to be the hero!" she cried, partly thankful for Aiden saving her. Her right bangs too the place of her left. She cried quietly with Aiden.

Kai sighed and lowered his head. He was at a loss.

Tori gasped and squeaked when she saw her prized blond hair being lopped off. Tears formed in her eyes as Aiden carried her out. She clung to Aiden and cried in her shoulder. "Aiden, un...your..." she sniffled. She looked at Aiden when they stopped. She saw the bruise and felt more tears coming at her words. "Aiden, un! Put me down, yeah!" she said as she started to flail. "I can run, un!" she cried. She didn't want to put her friend in danger of losing her children. Though it couldn't be avoided, she still didn't want to risk it. Aiden still had the slightest chance of still having them. Tori wiggled until she fell to her butt.

At that moment, Agony appeared in front of them. He grabbed at Aiden's hair, dragging her up and over. He walked over to Tori and growled. He snatched the kunai out of his chest and raised it to strike Tori. Said girl flinched and cried out.

At that moment, Agony froze and stopped with grunts. His eyes were wide and he stumbled forward a few steps, grip on Aiden's hair loosening. He groaned in pain and hissed. He looked over his shoulder, revealing a bloodied Misery and a tattered Kai. The moonlight shadowed the front of their bodies, but their hair and eyes stuck out. They glared at Agony. Kunai and shuriken were protruding from his back. Agony hissed and disappeared, claiming he'd be back.

Misery ran to Aiden's side and embraced her gently. "Are you alright?" he asked, voice heavy with fear and worry.

Kai did the same to Tori. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her forehead softly. "Stupid bird," he whispered as tears pooled in his eyes.
