U misunderstood. You need GAIA CASH to buy it. You can get Gaia Cash (in the USA) in stores. You can also buy Gaia Cash online with PayPal or Credit Card.

This is why I think we should be able to alter our CL by clicking on it via that wing status/progress panel. So much easier to find.

Make sure you crew them first or you could be waiting in the Null Chamber a while. blaugh

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for strategy too buuutttt every time I've beat a boss in a crew it's because the crew all gets together and just starts throwing every attack at the boss and activating 5 healing rings every 2 seconds. Not much room for strategy when it's a crazy fight for survival.

Seriously I'm not a retard who can't play the game. I just feel like I'm playing this game with one hand tied behind my back with these CL cappings. They seem waaaayyy too low and as someone else said, some areas and boss scale depending on your CL level which makes Cl capping redundant but on the other side also kills any motivation for getting stronger.

p.s. It wasn't until I got to Gold Beach that I was able to use the North Gate of Barton. VERY annoying being in Barton and having to go to the Zen to get to Basken. CL banning if areas is stupid. If I'm not strong enough of course I'll learn my lesson and get stronger before I go there again. Being told to go fight the gnomes when I've already fought saws is strange.

p.p.s. Got no message when I was refused entry to Kat's Doll. Even if there is one now, it doesn't make much sense. "I'm sorry. You're TOO STRONG for this stage." wtf.

There seems to be a HUGE reliance on these forums informing people of what's happening in game. Personally I think (and I'm saying this in the spirit of feedback) that if a player has to look outside the game then the game is failing.

Mind you, I read these forums daily because I know the game is lacking a lot of info.

Look at all the players who can't get into Kat's Doll because it says nowhere in game about CL limits let alone there being a limit on the boss instance.

Also, I know we have a way to reduce CL in the Null Chamber but think how much more convenient it would be if you could do it anywhere. Crews wouldn't have to go all the way back to the Null Chamber. They could adjust on the fly and jump right into the battle.

Another way CL doesn't work is the restricting of areas. I couldn't have been the only one frustrated with the Barton guards who wouldn't let me out of the North Gate because I wasn't "strong enough" yet I could actually walk right through Zen and Basken Lake to the outside of the North Gate and into Barton on foot. Frustrating.

Personally I think the CL restriction placed on different areas just doesn't work right now. It causes a LOT of frustration and confusion in game as there's nothing in game to explain it.

Ideally they would remove the CL restrictions on areas (it's like playing with an annoying little kid screaming at you, "YOU'RE NOT PLAYING IT RIGHT!!! YOU'RE TOO STRONG!!!" wink . Since when has becoming stronger (raising CL) not been a strategy for completing a RPG?

But I doubt they'll remove them (but please do!) so here are some suggestions:

1) On the loading screen image of each area, list the CL level for that area. Simple.

2) Allow us to lower our CL by clicking on our CL number on that wing progress panel. Simple.

3) Why not allow us to get stronger and complete the quests at higher CLs but if we're over the limit we simply get no awards but are allowed to progress through the game. I'm stuck at CL 7.9 now in Otami and am unable to progress in the game because I need that breathing underwater ability. Also skipped Kat's Doll and Aqua Duct as just impossible at those restricted CL levels.
