I live in Akebonobashi, in Shinjuku... I think that Abenobashi was named after here. I'm right across the street from the shopping street in the anime!

I'd also like to see Loveless plushies!! And Gravitation plushies!!

I love this whole series!! All of the mermaid saga, not just forest. ^^ There was a Mermaid Scar anime, and a Mermaid Forest anime. Plus of course the manga, with quite a bit more chapters. ^__^

I recommend it to EVERYONE!! Rumiko Takahashi (Ranma 1/2, Inu Yasha, etc) did a really good job telling a dark, morose tale about one of my favorite mythological creatures!! It's based on the japanese tradition stories about mermaids. Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch this isn't! biggrin

So, continuing my discussion of one...

My favorite actor is Kotaroh Yanagi, who played Echizen Ryoma in the first musical, and came back for Side Fudomine last winter, Dream Live 2 (for Side Fudo and DL2, he shared the role with his replacement, Endou Yuya), and will be back solo for Imperial Match Hyoutei.

Yanagi had a terrible accident soon before the second musical was scheduled to start running, and was in a coma for a while, and partially paralyzed. It took him more than a year to recover enough to attempt Side Fudomine this last January. He seems to be getting stronger, and is doing a bit more work now, which is really heartening!! He just turned 19 this year, and I wish him all of the luck that I can! He's a really, really sweet boy, not to mention the only cast member (to my knowledge), that's fluent in English!! Shirota Yuu (current Tezuka) can speak a bit of english as well, as long as it's fairly simple. ^^

sweatdrop 'Mada mada dane's official translation is "You still have lots more to work on." Literally, it translates to something like, "not quite there."

Re: The movie on DVD. Yes, it came out on DVD on June 29th. ^^ The weekend before it came out, they were playing advertisements for it on the huge video screen in Hachiko square in Shibuya. XD

Is there a Tenimyu thread already? I can't find one..

I figured I'd see how many people are fans of Tenimyu here! I know you're out there!! =^___^= biggrin

FYI: Tenimyu is the short name for the musical series based on Tennis no Oujisama (Prince of Tennis).

I'm REALLY excited to see the new musical, "The Imperial Match Hyoutei," which will be showing in Tokyo and Osaka this August! heart
