SOMETHING SMELLS FISHY HERE. Go to post 21 Art Discussion Tue Dec 01, 2009 8:47 am
Personally, just kinda wish people would stop talking about Amuria. -.-
I get it! She SUCKS. She's a terrible person who did horrible things...
Can we just move on already? Her type of people thrive on this attention,
you're just giving her what she wants.

Also, consider this: If you're wrong with your accusation,
you could be seriously hurting someone's feelings.
From what I can see, this artist hasn't done anything wrong,
just leave them alone.
Where to buy copic ciao? Go to post 5 Art Discussion Tue Dec 01, 2009 8:39 am
(Just a warning about ciao,
they seem awesome for a while,
but because they have a lot less colors than the other copic markers,
you might begin to find yourself bored with the colors after a while.
That was my experience with them, in the end, I splurged for the sketch ones,
and was much happier.
144 colors vs. 334 colors? No contest in my books.
Also, you can't use the ciao with their air-brush system.)

And I agree with above,
a lot of art stores sell copic markers, more than you might think.
Plenty may also be willing to order them special for you,
with a slight fee. (Or maybe even free, just depends)
(Excessive) Begging = Harassment [!!!Anonymity!!!!] Go to post 37 Site Feedback Mon Nov 30, 2009 10:32 pm
Believe me, beggars annoy me endlessly,
but I think there should not be an option to sell anonymously-
why? Because you'd never know who you were buying from.
Say I want to buy something very expensive-
I am not going to buy it from someone who's naked and only been on the
site for a few days, that's suspicious!
When buying things over 100k on the marketplace,
I always check out who's selling it first. I want to be able to trust that
the item I'm buying isn't a stolen item.
It's not a fool-proof system, but it eases my mind just a little bit. o:

The Official SUPERNATURAL thread! (*RPG GAMING POLL*) Go to post 22675 Entertainment Discussion Thu Nov 26, 2009 8:28 pm
THERE'S A SPN RPG TABLE TOP GAME?!
I fail as a nerd. I've never played one of those before.
I've watched the underclassmen at my school
play Yugioh and Magic at lunch, but never a table top RPG.

....
I strangely feel as if Supernatural would
totally make it sound way more fun than it probably
actually is.
So I'm new at the whole drawing thing Go to post 21 Art Discussion Thu Nov 26, 2009 9:48 am
If you really want to improve,
I suggest doing it for a better reason besides opening an Art Shop. o:
Don't make your art all about selling and profit,
because you'll hit a point where you'll hate your own art,
even when plenty of people are willing to pay for it,
and be unable to move away from that.
Bleeding Pens Go to post 23 Art Discussion Thu Nov 26, 2009 9:11 am
I really doubt Sakura Microns are what you are looking for...
I haven't really had them bleed or smudge on me.
Have you tried just plain calligraphy ink?
That stuff bleeds like nobody's business, in my (limited) experience with it.
I know I suck. But I want to improve Go to post 41 Art Discussion Thu Nov 26, 2009 9:05 am
Have you tried experimenting with other mediums besides just digital?
I was browsing through your DA and noticed you only had 1 traditional piece-
and even that was just line art.
I don't know much about digital art, but I do know that
there are so many mediums beside that which might interest you.
Don't feel confined in it just it's what's "popular" right now.
Paint, ink, pencil, marker, textiles, clay- I highly suggest trying it all. c:
I used to draw using only colored pencils,
and now I am so happy I branched out to paints and markers,
and I just keep looking for new mediums I've never tried before,
it makes art even more exciting! Sure, I fail A LOT, but I brush myself off
and keep going. The biggest, most important part of practicing is
ENDURANCE. Keep on going, even when you're doubtful.

Sometimes I get depressed thinking
that I can't make everyone I love happy.
I worry that they misunderstand me.
I just want them to feel the joy they give me,
is that too much to ask for?
I don't know how to fix things, and that hurts.

AQUA! o:
Or a light blue-ish green-ish color.

It might be a few days before I can get anything up though.
I'm in Seattle right now visiting a university,
I won't be home to my markers (read: the loves of my life)
or my scanner until Monday. D:
I do luckily have my favorite paper and inking pens though.
(I'd die without them. Probably. Maybe.)
