Sure elitism exists. It's fine to have pride in yourself. If you are a better artist, student ect ect it's perfectly fine to take pride in that. It is partially human nature to compete.
The problem with most elitist is tact. The typical view of an elitist is someone who acts like a bad winner. They run around boasting like a showy little bird and in the end no one, not even those that have the same ability/whatever as them, wants to be around them. For example: I'm an oldbie. However, due to the shitty behavior of several other members of my group I refuse to be associated with them. Sure its great to say you are loyal to a site.... its another to be associated with a group of people that act like moronic asses and disgust you. Thats where my problem with elitism exists. |

I love finally getting an item I worked for.
Generally when that happens I go out of my way to post more to either show off the item or I go to areas where I will get comments on it (word games ect). |

Kitty Zombie  I never enter 'cause I always get insulted for my lack of a fancy description. :D I always go and see who the winners are in both arenas each Monday. I browse the cosplay arenas more than I do the original arena. I see some interesting cosplays sometime. I saw an Amber Sweet today! I've noticed that a lot in the arenas. For some reason people just seem to be obsessed with descriptions. It's a reason I don't bother to enter. I firmly believe that I don't need much of a description. The reasons and the theme should be obvious upon glancing at the avatar. Because of that my descriptions pretty much equal: and its a _____ avatar. I thought the blues complimented each other. |

I make it a habit of reporting.
Sometimes I let it go tho if there is no report link. I don't like to pointlessly PM mods. With that said tho if you piss me off (such as posting a rip away in my profile) I will hunt down an online mod to make sure you get your a** handed to you. |
