So it's only the top row that's affected?
Try cleaning the keyboard out with canned air.
Maybe blowing out the plug and the port too.

See if you can borrow someone else's Windows CD.

And if no one here can help you recover Windows, I might suggest downloading a Linux live CD on another comp and using it to get at your drive.

Copy everything to another comp or to cd's...
I can walk you over doing it over the net and by CD/USB drive if no one else has any ideas.
